Nice pick up for the price. The fiber optic are nice in the light , I've had night sights on my original shield 9mm for years now.

I'm leaning towards putting fiber optic sights on most of my handguns.And so far S&W seems to have the best out there.

I have the original. 45 Shield that I have used as my carry gun since they came out.Only thing I don't care for is the Shields being a carry gun have a real slim grip.I gave myself a hernia putting a Hogue grip on it , but I like the feel of it.Seems I can remember you having the original Shield.You were at your buddy Joe's shooting it.May be mistaken. Keep up the good reviews my friend.

Hello Mike,,you're right,Joe took the 1st shots with my 1st 45 Shield over at his place.My neice has that pistol now.She loves it and in Maryland where she lives,they have mag capacity limits so it fits the bill for her.
