Pigeon was such a tiny baby and the photo of him was scary with all the injuries. Now, he's teaching others bad habits, stealing baby milk, and generally looking cute. The flight test shows how strong his wings have become. Miracle work.
That was marvelous! I knew some baby animals have remarkable healing powers from broken bones, yet his ability seems almost miraculous. The before and after pictures were stunning. Thank you so much for sharing this happy, happy ending!
That was an AMAZING transformation. Pigeon was a gorgeous baby, and a cheeky little munchkin, but I have a better understanding of why Cottontop pooped on him now. A few have mastered stealing the bottles, bit it looked like Pigeon figured out how to actually get a good bit of the milk into himself as well as on his face. What a happy result. Thanks Mandi and Meg…now I want a unicorn to sleep on lol.✨🖤🇨🇦
I love Pigeon's ears! Really flexing that wing well. Looks like he's doing well along with Cottontop. You don't realize how many species there are of them until you watch your videos. Lol with the bottle, corn, and blossoms. They are smart and sneaky ❤🦇
What a precious success story! So glad to know that the babies can sometimes get a second chance at life, even if they have a broken wing! Well done, Mandi!
I'm so glad pigeon healed up and was able to get released. It's so amazing to watch the healing process and their learning experience too. 💕 all the best Stephanie- Lincoln, NE
Oh, the children! Little milk bottle thieves. And Meep had something to say too. The slo-mo flight looks so cool, it's like they're swimming in the air.
This just might be my favorite Megabattie video! Pigeon stealing the baby bottles and teaching others was too prescious! And a success story to boot! 💜

Pigeon covered in purloined milk! Lmao! I've got to say, I love it when the babies wrap their wings around themselves and cover their face. "Nope. Nobody home. Come back later!" So glad Pigeon has recovered so well! - Ali, Colorado

youtube channels like this are what makes the world spinning forward worth it all. I don't care for tv or most shows but being able to see the good you all do and the care you provide is beautiful. This is the sort of content the world needs to see more of and less so be reminded of vain and bad from a few upon many.
I was going to make a flippant comment on the basic shallowness of human life and social media at the moment, but let's just dismiss that issue as bread and circuses. Humans need something to entertain them; some go for sports, some put their passion into something introspective, some like to gloat over the issues of the "stars' personal lives", and some just live in their own little microcosm, being horrified and entertained by the idiocy around them. It's a shame the internet is dominated by the more base levels of humanity
Any survivor is worth celebrating, but given how stacked the odds were against him with that injury I imagine Pigeon going into the release cage and successfully making it back into the wild must have been an especially proud moment for Mandi. ❤ Though he was quite the little troublemaker, no wonder Cottontop decided he needed to be pooed on! 🤣 ~Firefury - California
What a fantastic story and what an amazing recovery from not one but two breaks in his radius😧 He's a cheeky little Pigeon and up to mischief with what seems to be a small gang of youths learning milk bottle theft and when getting caught deny everything even though covered in milk😂 and meet back later at Pigeons place, the Unicorn to plan the next heist😎😂 I suspect Poppy wouldn't have been far away so she could get involved in mischief of some sort 😂😂 Absolutely wonderful that five months from rescue he was released fit and well and strong and flying with ease. He's a smart cookie so will do well out in the wild. Thanks, Mandi and Meg🦇❤
Everyday I go out to the garden and my 19-year-old dachshund insist on going with me so I take him with me. Every day we pick about eight tomatoes and two or three zucchinis and when I picked them he has to sniff them for his approval LOL Then he lets me go back in the house there's nothing better than a dachshund for a friend ❣️
LOL that's funny - I'm glad you allow him his stamp of approval and power of veto - because clearly if he didn't approve, you would not use that produce.

The small comment 'what are you doing mate?' I could see expression from Pigeon ,' It works, see!' Also I think I heard Meeps helping you with tots or expressing where's my video time...lol
Difficult because the membrane precludes you putting a splint around the entire circumference. What we do is do a half splint then fold their wing at the wrist and wrap the entire forearm folded.
