The craftsmanship is outstanding! The Hawaiian bracelet has become a cherished heirloom. I live in California & I'm proud to wear my bracelet every day! Thank you for sharing the process!
When I turned 50 I bought myself a bracelet. I liked it so much I bought another one a couple of years later. I no longer purchase anything gold because of the lack of fair working conditions for the gold miners. I have since bought a couple in silver. I love the specifically Hawaiian designs. I have a book about the history of the designs. My hula sisters have some that are very old, inherited from mom & Grandma. They told me that they buy a bracelet when their children are born and wear it until the kid is 16 or so at which time they transfer it to the child.
