i play a bounce rogue deck. the objective is to put as many weapon cases on my oponent's field as i can. it doesn't walays win but when it does, it loses to copycat priest decks
@@ZKEUSeven worse than hard using it, if a kingsbane rogue is a mediocre player, as soon as an etc goes down, by that point of the game they can destroy their own weapon every turn so that the sticky finger literally can never be played. The only way it ever works if it is just randomly played out of no where, as many times I’ve tried sticky finger in etc I would lose anyway and I’ve been able to play like 7-8 turns without leaving the kingsbane on board in order to win
The Warlock roping into the Sticky Finger was the worst. I also enjoyed people justifying the Quest DH Running Rustrot Viper. Only to be met with “Quest DH is an established deck. It doesn’t run that card.”
@@GingerNinja303 I can kinda see why it would run that as a 1-of though (the viper), mostly to neuter Odin's decks. There's lots of players who put their spice to preestablished precisely for moments like this.
What's wrong with running cards? Back in the days I put in whatever I wanted just because I felt like it. Putting in cards just to counter specific annoying decks is fun even if you lose most matchups.
@@cruxofthesubject1402 who are these people? If there weren't quests to complete I wouldn't really care. After 10 years winning feels so inconsequential.
i climbed to legend with this deck and its just insane the amount of stickyfinger i ran into even tho kingsbane rogue is just not a deck people play anymore
The intro really did the feeling of having to go against reno decks as a spectral cutlass reliant deck justice, every game is just waiting for them to draw zeph lol
Thnks for keeping the random weapon removal in! Now please insert every jaina question in the elemental mage. Surely this won't drive you over the edge?
As frustrated as I am for Roffle in this video, I'm glad so many people are running weapon removal against this deck. The cutlass w a few buffs single-handedly keeps you alive, while allowing you to deal MASSIVE amounts of damage turn after turn
I don't know, it sounds a bit hypocritical hating on that rummaging kobold card (and other weapon restoration cards) in a deck where having a specific weapon is your only win condition; while having no problem including the kobold in a Jade Shaman deck just days ago, where the weapon restored isn't even a super big deal.
Context is important. Rummaging Kobold in Jade Shaman is to get more Jade battlecries and layer threats, which is the deck's entire game plan. Rummaging Kobold in Burgle Rogue is only playable if the opponent is running niche/rarely included tech cards and interrupts the decks primary game plan by making Swindle less consistent.
@@Roffle I agree partly. I think if one could fit a weapon restoring tech card (even as a side-deck card) in this deck without lowering the chances to draw a Shinyfinder, it would be a reasonable inclusion. But thank you for the reply, the video was entertaining regardless, as always!
Ah yes, the (standard) plague DK and steam cleaner experience. Everyone and their mother runs the one card to counter your deck when it's one of the least played.
I've never seen steam cleaners outside of etc, where it's an easy include but definitely getting less relevant as plague is the only real target in the current meta. I put steam cleaner in my control priest because I had no third card to put in after ruin and sunwell...
It was interesting, but makes sense that roffle hates even shaman more than Secret Mage. Prevalence deffs plays a big part in it. Secret mage is the deck that made me quit the game.
Finally, a Burgle Rogue that actually has Burgle in it.
This is your reminder that just because it worked that one time against that one deck, STICKY FINGER IS A BAD CARD!

Just run ETC and put it in there

@@ZKEUS So you're playing 2 bad cards instead of one
That was a great intro-clip. Thanks for the laughs
I watched most of the weapon removal montage live. It was pure tragedy

But there are still pirate rogue and Odin warrior running Ignis. That is reason enough for me to include Sticky finger in CTE.
Just a dead draw in everyone's deck.
I include it in any pirate deck i have just for the memes, or at least put it in the E.T.C. just so it's not a complete dead draw.
I'm sorry roffle but that montage at the beginning was amusing, I couldn't help but laugh.
Never getting enough of the espionage content. Thanks buddy!
Ironic that the largest vulnerability to an archetype built around thievery is being, themselves, thieved. How the turntables.
Loved the opening montage... LOL...
Great video...

Im so glad he included all the weapon breaks for context. I felt so bad for him on stream
I feel your pain, I tried running this deck for a few games and ran into 7 sticky fingers out of the 10 games I played before I gave up
I love it when you play these types of decks these videos make my day so thank you so much ❤
The montage was pretty hilarious thank you for that haha
why not play sticky fingers so that you can get your weapon back?
chat was chatting on another level in this video
I was waiting for this video to be released. The sticky fingers were unreal
i enjoyed the montage of the cutlass being destroyed
what do u think of updated burgle roffle? is it a generally better include than say [clever disguise] in burgle rogue lists?
Probably not. Clever Disguise is probably a better option at 2 mana.
appreciate the video sections!
oh weapon meta, loved the beginning montage

zeph into ooze, yes it sucks but its somewhat swallow-able. hard run removal is just pain.
Could a copy TESS deck work in this meta?
Reminder that a kingsbane deck can bounce back from Stickyfingers, so it’s one job isn’t a instant win.
Maybe you should play the burgle quest instead in that case
As frustrated as I am for Roffle in this video, I'm glad so many people are running weapon removal against this deck. The cutlass w a few buffs single-handedly keeps you alive, while allowing you to deal MASSIVE amounts of damage turn after turn
burgle rogue is one of the most cheap and fun rng decks in hs history. nothing can change that
Lack of Ch’tun in this deck
Amazing intro

we ain't get mcdonalds...
Why this weapon cost 4 mana and kingsbane cost 1????????? just explain
Personally the most annoying variant of secret mage is not even the best. Orion, Mansion Manager, with a few set up secrets is incredibly frustrating
I saw intro i change my mind and kingsbane is better option
I almost wanted to play this deck until I seen the beginning. Thanks Roffle for showing me a reason not to play it!

@@neilu7132 I'm hoping as the set goes on it becomes less and less prevalent. It's just been painful.
So based on the question presented but the intro, no?
It is my objective opinion that secret mage is the most annoying deck objectively because of objection

Secret mage you can actually play around if you’re smart. Even shaman just creates insane stats that are impossible to stop.
the effort counts i guess ^^
Rummaging Kobold?
Don’t say the lords name in vain rofffleeee!
Can I get a BURGLE
You should run that 5 mana pirate that requips your destroyed weapon 💀
but then thatd be a new copy and there isnt enough investment to make it strong again
Its 4 Mana.
