Brass with math rock/midwest emo is such a good idea. It fits so well. Imagine truly bridging the gap between those genres and the blues.

Jabez Gill - Nate only joined after the reunion for LP2, there was no bass recorded on the first EP, only on LP1, and they’ve only ever played with a bassist while touring for LP2 and LP3, which were released within the last 3 years. LP1 released in 1999, and Mike played minimalist bass on it.
I’ve talked to Mike about this before. I’m a huge AF nerd. You’re wrong about a lot of what you just said.
Their current incarnation also has another member that plays marimba and auxiliary instruments. That doesn’t mean that they’ve ALWAYS had a marimba player. Hence why I said “didn’t” and not “doesn’t”
Maybe learn from this interaction to make sure you know wtf you’re talking about before you try and act all high and mighty in a RUclips comments section 😂
