David Kau spoke from the heart in this interview, no PR nonsense whatsoever; just a man speaking from the heart. Touched.

I couldn’t agree more with that statement!!! There was no beating around the bush, he was clear and straight to the point. He didn’t want to waste the opportunity by getting into character like many celebrities do! That was the sort of talk you need at a ‘Man’s Conference’, if such even exists in reality. There is so much to learn out of this interview for everyone, especially the younger generation, the up and coming comedians and performing artists in general; and though I said this sounds like something out of a ‘Man’s Conference’, even women and young girls can learn a lot from this. One profound thing for me was when he mentioned his family and how his family changed his life and his way of doing things, how one cannot continue to live like they have no responsibilities and commitments even after they had started a family especially when there’s children in the equation. He speaks volumes of his wife, he makes many believe in love and marriage because if you listen to someone you look up to and they say their spouse is the best thing to ever happen to them; then many with doubts or who are going through hell in their married lives can begin to believe in love. They can learn that both individuals in a committed relationship can better appreciate the fact that, their role in this arrangement is to fill up their loved one’s cup, as much as it is their partner’s to do the same for them. Not all of us will strike that gold however, and I’m not claiming that such is the case with every union or marriage, but at least you realize that it is possible…and that your partner or spouse should be the jet fuel that gets you to push boundaries and reach for the stars. He didn’t fall for the ‘trap’ even when T-Bose baited him to get into character and obviously not out of malice or ill intentions on T-Bose part, he was merely trying to spice up the interview with a bit of laughter but what I picked up was that David Kau just briefly went along and only briefly…..but he mostly just smiled and carried on! Beautiful, honest, frank, informative and inspiring interview!!!!

I saw Dave ko Laparada last year sometime, he was friendly and jolly as always. But the Dave that I am seeing in this interview seems like he's going through a lot. Keep your head up dawg, SA comedy needs you, especially right now.
