Did you know? Seagulls' clever choice of rocky nesting sites not only provides safety from ground predators but also offers them panoramic views of the surrounding area, allowing them to keep a watchful eye on potential food sources and threats.
This is my third painting of gulls… it has been a breeze every time I paint them, simple & straight forward subjects. The dark background gave an opportunity for the seagulls to standout. I consciously kept the details on the rock simple to avoid complicating the painting. Overall this painting filled me with satisfying experience.
