This is summer track days at gingerman raceway in van buren co, southwest michigan.
It's designed to get everyone on the track and features track education, all ages 16-up, and all experience levels.
Drivers are grouped by experience level and similar vehicles so they're not uncomfortable or rushed.
Instruction is available.
There are four racing groups and they all get four :20 minute racing sessions per day.
ADVICE:
Ask a qualified auto mechanic to check over your car to make sure everything is in good working order.
Keep to 15 mph in the padding.
The drivers meeting is mandatory.
Obey the flags. Helmets must be 2005 snell or newer.
Helmets, seat belt, long pants, closed toe shoes.
Convertibles must have roll protection.
No drifting, no contact on track. You might be parked for an accident.
Your car insurance does not cover the track. You are responsible for damages.
Do not drag race. Passing only in passing zones, only 'point to pass'.

hey this is Jimmy Myers This is my 1999 Mazda Miata I bought this car a few years ago as a just a donor car for a track vehicle at the time it was being parted out by somebody in Detroit so I bought it it's an automatic car so I've done quite a bit of work converting it to manual setting up for track Duty so it's got a roll bar in it for safety some racing bucket seats and then I have a driver's harness as well generally the engine and transmission is pretty much stock I have an aftermarket ECU in it and I've got adjustable shocks adjustable dampers and then just a good set of tires yeah and it's it's just a good time this is my first time at Ginger and it's been good so far
