While JCo, it is something new and way more sophisticated than DD, very limited stores only (which is sad). In my personal opinion JCo is way way way more better than DD. I honestly like both brands equally. They're both definitely high quality, so it's just a matter of flavor preference. However, Krispy Kreme is still the best.
The thing about Indonesian (or Southeast Asian to be exact) way of eating avocado is the fact that our avocado tend to be sweeter and buttery in texture in comparison to the one grown in the States and also enjoyed mostly by Australian, European and American for their smashed avos or guacamole. In Indonesia, avocado is mostly used as a dessert component, so you will stumble upon avocado juice with chocolate condensed milk, avocado chunk in traditional icy sweets like Es Teler (shredded ice, avocado, coconut chunks, condensed milk, pearl, etc.) and other variation of local dessert
DD is not too famous anymore so they just sell the most favourite ones and they rotate the flavour within days. Actually because DD has many choice of croissant when i go to DD i prefer have croissant than donut. Hope you both have a great time in Bali, many success for the youtube 💕.

Fyi, we pronounce J-Co as jay-co, not J-C-O. And btw, I personally love Dunkin's style of donut which is thick and dense, but I prefer J-Co toppings/fillings which are lighter in taste, not overly sweet. :)
Thank you for the explaination!
Magically, i just finished my JCo last night and this video came out of nowhere on my preview.
it's magic hehe
hope you enjoyed the video :)
I honestly like both brands equally. They're both definitely high quality, so it's just a matter of flavor preference.
However, Krispy Kreme is still the best.
We need to try Krispy!
JCO oreo and almond are my all time fave 😋
so we tried the right ones :)
I've always thought JCO was a European brand lmao
Sama😏
hehe now you know
No it’s not, the founder is Johnny Andrean, he also a founder for Johnny Andrean salon and Bread talk
glad you guys arrive at Bali safely 🙏
thank you!
The thing about Indonesian (or Southeast Asian to be exact) way of eating avocado is the fact that our avocado tend to be sweeter and buttery in texture in comparison to the one grown in the States and also enjoyed mostly by Australian, European and American for their smashed avos or guacamole. In Indonesia, avocado is mostly used as a dessert component, so you will stumble upon avocado juice with chocolate condensed milk, avocado chunk in traditional icy sweets like Es Teler (shredded ice, avocado, coconut chunks, condensed milk, pearl, etc.) and other variation of local dessert
we noticed that, the avocado really is different here. Maybe we need to give the sweet avocado desserts a shot :D :)
Keep your health❤️
you too! How did you like the video? :)
I'm from indonesia, but my favorite donuts is DUNKIN DONUTS!!😍
Ohhhhhh. What is your favorite donut? 🍩
@@marklehmann I like chocolate filling, this is so good!! 🍩😍
mhh it really is!
@@marklehmann yeah, of course!!
Ohh Jco with the almonds, thats my favorite one 🤤🤤🤤
That one was good 🙏🏼
DD is not too famous anymore so they just sell the most favourite ones and they rotate the flavour within days.
Actually because DD has many choice of croissant when i go to DD i prefer have croissant than donut.
Hope you both have a great time in Bali, many success for the youtube 💕.
good to know! which donut is your favorite there? Thank you so much :)
Some countries consider avocados are a vegetable but in Indonesia avocados are fruit..that's why Indonesian combines it with some sweet foods..
That‘s very interesting 🤔 do you think it tastes good?
I LOVE JCO 😍
We do too!! What is your favorite donut? 🍩
My favorites one is free donut 🤣 JK. Whatever it is, I love it.
haha I feel that one :D
I don't really have a favorite, if it's good I'll eat it 😅 also you guys ate quite a bit there, don't think I could eat that many donuts in one go! 🤣
I also like the attention of details where you put timestamps and subtitles on most, if not all of your videos, it's really useful.. appreciate it! 👍
We really ate a lot 😂
I shouldn't have watched this in the middle of the night omg😭 most variants you choose from jco is all my fave huhu
Hehe sorry 🤣
J.Co + Ice Cappucino-No Sugar from Kopi Kenangan = perfect pair.
yummy!
I've worked at Breadtalk for 6 years, but I prefer donuts from Dunkin Donuts.
All different between JCO and Dunkin.
Ohhh, why do you prefer it more?
You must try the green tea flavour from jco donuts that is my favorite for next video mybe you can try indonesia noodles "indomie" the best noodles in indonesia and mybe inthe world 🤭,and for the next ,you can compare kfc or mcd with cfc (lokal brand)
wow okay green tea :o indomie video is coming soon :))
Yes, i agree,, loooooove green tea flavour from Jco ❤️❤️❤️
First
Ayyyye!
The thing is that i don't compare Jco with DD but with Krispy Kreme the story is that the Krispy Kreme Indonesia franchise owner wants to open a store in Indonesia but Krispy Kreme decided they want to open it themselves with every tools and buildings permit already paid for Jco was born and the owner was a well know person that owns a salon
Im not saying JCo better because Im Indonesian, but I live outside Indonesia and Dunkin Donuts here almost gone too. Stores are closed even before covid was there. Same thing happened in Indonesia, so many Dunkin Donuts stores arent survived. I think JCo knows how to adapt. They have better packaging, more variety to choose, cozy cafe style store. Thats it. Not they are taste better.
Totally agree

That's possible haha

In Indonesia, we usually consume avocado as fruit. We made avocado juice and it tastes good... That's way, it's different... As foreigners, you'll find it weird... Hope you understand what I really want to tell. My english is bad😣
True to us it sounds interesting 😂 but we will try it for sure :) did you like the video? :)
Actually, it read as Jay Co (as in J. Company).
FYI. if you left J.Co donuts for a day or two, it will still have the same softness.
thanks for telling us :) Did you like the video? :)
@@marklehmann yeah, I love it
The Resto: "Outside food is not allowed!"
You: [Brought food from competitor]
Though I'm sure they're really happy with your favorable review.
Oh no it did say that? We didn‘t even notice haha
@@marklehmann I didn't see them either, I was joking ✌️
I really like JCO starting from bread, donuts, and various kinds of drinks... very often I hang out at JCO both when hanging out and studying... the internet connection is very smooth and the place is good.
that sounds really good!
@@marklehmann greetings, friends... your enthusiasm for making your works... thank you for introducing Indonesian culture, whether it's tourist attractions, culinary, etc... hopefully in the future your content will be more liked and successful always friend
When do you want to explore labuan bajo komodo dragon island, and mount Bromo, Mentawai island, lake Toba Samosir in Sumatra..i hope you guys are happy in Indonesian..👍🇮🇩😍🇮🇩
we would love to go there!
@@marklehmann I was happy to return my coments thank you guys love you so much👍👍🇮🇩🙏
we are very happy you took the time to comment! :)
Dunkin i just choose for Durian flavor, that's my favorite. But in JCO almond flavor is the best, they should have Durian flavor too. 😁😁
Then we will have to try durian soon too :D which company do you prefer? DD or JCO?
@@marklehmann overall JCO have better donnut, it's soft and not too sweet. In dunkin I just want durian, and maybe some sandwich.
Btw, good luck with ur channel 👍
absolutely agree! thank you :)
BreadTalk asal dari singapore, JCO pemegang hak waralaba BreadTalk di indonesia.....
Ohhhh so it’s not Indonesian?
BreadTalk Group Pte Ltd was founded as a bakery brand in Singapore in 2000 and listed on the SGX in 2003, before delisting on June 5 2020. It has since expanded to more than 900 retail stores spread across 15 markets. Its brand portfolio consists of BreadTalk, Toast Box, Food Republic, Food Junction, Bread Society, Thye Moh Chan, The Icing Room, Sō Ramen, Butter Bean and Charlie Tea in Singapore. Actually im not the type of person that like Donuts but seeing this make's me mouthwatering
So happy to hear that! We recommend trying :)
Which one looks better?
@@marklehmann The tiramisu one looks so good, What about your favorite donut?
Btw sorry if my English broken im indonesian and i can't speak English properly 💀
Why dont you compare with indonesian local donat....... which sell at traditionsl market or in the warung
maybe we will :)
I work at J.CO. J.CO which is located in Jogja City Mall, Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
would you come here?
that would be very fun! Did you like the video? :)
I appreciate you both providing honest and objective assessments. This assessment provides input for DD to change more (don't be too sweet🤣). Thank You.
Perhaps you guys got it wrong. It says ALCAPONE not The Avocado one, because most of the sell out J.Co donuts are the Alcapone or the almond donuts. You guys should try it again sometimes, and the Oreology is heaven!
good to know, we will!
Yeah, the taste of J.Co berry donuts doesn’t disappoint me😆 my fav too~
So good! Did you like the video? :)
I think you've returned to your country turned out to be masi in Indonesia, vacation to Bali yes😁
