Oh my god I'm so glad this got saved! This was my first real exposure to Homestar Runner, and was just a great summation of Homestar Runner, to the point where after watching this I completely understood all of the Homestarr references Jello and his friends would make in his playthroughs of games. I thought this was lost to time, but it's not! Hooray!
You have to listen to the DVD commentaires to understand why puppet homestar as the French Canadian villain says "the pipes zey are broken" is because the Chapman Brothers always thought when Ken and Ryu from Street Fighter 2 do their hurricane kick, the voice sample sounds like "The pipes are brooooken"
One little thing that's ingrained in my brain, Dangeresque got himself a Reesy Cup milkshake in Dangeresque 1: Dangeresque, Too? And I still 6/10 times think of that when I get Reese's cups
i just got into Homestar Runner myself after being intrigued by the Point and Click game Telltale made about the series and man do I wish I found this series sooner
2001-2006 were the Homestar Golden Years. I was just about to enter College, so really the picque demographic for it. Homestar Runner was truly the GOAT of Flash Cartoons ... nearly all of which have aged like rancid cheese.
Jello's Strong Sad impression, bet that it'd dethrone The Cheat's impression of one of Strong Sad's feet as the winner of The Strong Sad Lookalike Contest. All he'd have to do to complete the requirements is a cosplay of the guy. His Bubs impression is really impressive.
AHH! The Cardgage Curse is worse than we thought! It even spreads to RUclips comments! Not that they weren't already cursed to begin with, but still...
Okay, that is blasphemy in several religions, he did NOT just characterize Strong Bad as a "loser". How shallow do you have to be to say something like that, he's one of the coolest characters ever made, so cool that he carried an obscure website for 20 years. Insulting Strong Bad like that is fighting words.
21:45 Woah that is an impressive Strong Sad impression! Did you at least win the penmanship award? 28:25 Hey, I really like your King of Town impression.
RUclipsr JelloApocalypse is a voice actor who likely got into voice acting by, among other things, doing impressions of Homestar Runner voices when he was young. I suspect he's had decades to refine his impressions.
There's some kind of channel called clue something or another and they have done 10 hour compilations of the homestar runner cartoons, The Strong Bad emails, the Decemberweens, the teen girls squads, and all of the Halloween episodes
My guess with the Poopsmith is that he's necessary because there's so much poop *because* the King of Town eats so much food. Could also be random nonsense. Hard to say.
Can someone explain the "I can do it! I can do it X times!" one to me? Haven't found that clip. Also looking for a clip of Strongbad at a panel saying "Can someone explain to me what Homestuck is?"
@@macuser7048 It’s actually from the email “virus”, where The King Of Town gets transported to a Teen Girl Squad, where The Ugly One slaps him while saying “I can do it! I can do it 9 times!”
It's the bonus scene after the end of the latest sbemail 209: parenting. Only on the RUclips version, though. The live video wouldn't play well with the Flash emulator the site runs on nowadays.
the sheer number of direct, 100% accurate quotes jello makes is honestly the most impressive thing about this whole vid

Homestar also says that line in Dangeresque 1 when he does a “hurricane kick” on Strong Sad as Killingyouguy’s stunt double.
The best part is when he said in the oldy timey strong bad voice "I can't believe I'm STILL being eaten"
Every time he does a strong bad impression it blows my mind how accurate it is
Time stamp(s)?
@@-throat- there's one at 13:59, another at 16:22, the old strong bad at 18:33, another at 19:34, 19:45
@@EpikBirb - Thankies! And yes, those were amazingly accurate!
Those looneys are gonna blow his mind
King of Town voice is also dead on
Thank you so much for uploading this! It's delightful to see someone who's as into Homestar as I am just gush about it and share it with others
Lappy’s battery 🔋 life was actually only 5 minutes. (Strong Bad described it as “a full half ten minutes.”)
My favorite thing about Homestar runner is how it’s so easy to voice most of them once you get used to them
One little thing that's ingrained in my brain, Dangeresque got himself a Reesy Cup milkshake in Dangeresque 1: Dangeresque, Too?
And I still 6/10 times think of that when I get Reese's cups
Jello is doing God's work here. Showing others the joy of Homestar Runner
My parents actually got me into Homestar runner funnily enough, I'm definitely the only one my age (in my town) who knows what it is lol.
I come back to this every once in a while for that “unicorn in the forest” feeling. Thank you for archiving this!

"Alright, boys! remember the plan!"
>signal cuts off
Was THAT their plan?
A wonderful trip down memory lane. 2:03:58 was probably one of my favorites as a kid.

He calls them "soolnds".

4 hours of homester binging and somehow not a single powered by the cheat cartoon
As a Homestar superfan I say that this nails it
In hindsight, the amount of influence Homestar Runner had on my sense of humor is unbelievable
Thank you for archiving this!
28:48 He actually also speaks in an old Halloween party episode as well
And in that one senior prok episode!
only 25 minutes in....and you have done a PHENOMENAL job here.
26:12 COACH Z IMPRESSION(S) INCOMING!!!
They should have looked at the character videos.
Thanks for saving this!!
Mr puzzles and homestar runner is the best crossover to happen lol xD

It’s from the fan fiction sbemail, where in Strong Sad’s self insert is called 12 times a day man. He can do it 12 times.
I can do it 9 times? I think that was from one of The Cheat's animations.
The homestuck line’s from W00tstock 5.0
Hrwiki my niki

@2:45:46 if you click on the r in dargon that strong man is carving into the desk, you will get a scene with Homsar
2:04:30 killed me because ive been on a classic doom binge lately

That is exactly where he got the idea, yes.
Not only that but then there's Mr poofers who eats "pime cooooones" for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Poop star runner
but why
No Marshie…i think, 0/10 introduction…
3:35:21 Virus is forever embedded in my head.
The line was I was gonna go shower 🧼 up, but now I don’t has to.
I just imagined that xD
