For anyone wondering Victor is the original raven, his code-name was phantom raven, the founder of the raven unit and works for the UN.
So raven and master raven are his subordinates, which explains the similarities in moves and a bit of lore.

I typically much prefer the regular martial artists in Tekken as opposed to the super anime characters. But I'm such a sucker for Metal Gear that I have to give this guy a try.

My favorite part about this reveal is that Vincent said in Namco's European channel that he discovered Tekken in the 90's and his favorite character is Eddy Gordo. And based on Victor's character bio, he's not only a part of Raven's team, but he's its leader and founder. So I genuinely want to know what exactly his story is.

Btw, Vincent Cassel is a big Tekken fan since the beginning apparently. He also mained Eddy since Tekken 3 because at the time Vincent was big into capoeira himself.

Just a few weeks ago I bought Tekken 7 and really loved it, my first Tekken game ever.
I went to youtube to find tutorials and content creators.
I quickly found TMM and first was like "nah this guy is weird", but somehow I kept coming back again and again.
Now I reached a point where I desperately wait for his reaction on the latest Tekken 8 news.

My first impression of his rage art was that I didn't like it. But after a while I kind of like the simplicity of it. His moves are crazy as hell but his rage art is just a good old single clean "nothing personal, kid" anime slash that goes through the opponent. I'll test him out for sure.

I think instead of a sword, they could use Savate as his fighting style, since he's French. Savate is a French fighting style and has some very elegant moves, it would suit him very well. Pistols could continue as a complement.

Looks cool, also BIG AGREE with the music. The only themes I dig from modern TEKKEN are those that have a bit more melody in them (karma, plucking tulips, heat haze shadow etc) but T2, T3, T5 still stands as my unchallenged favorite OSTs
T3 and T5 intro OST's are franchise's best, ngl.

HE LOOKS SICK! I love the effort and creativty Bandai Namco put in, I do think he is a touch "overdesigned" though and it makes me wonder what the hell they did with Lee.

Is this the modern Tekken? Where everyone became a multi Hightech Char with anime powers, projectiles and so many effects on the screen that you can’t see what’s happening? And those music. I don’t know man. I started playing this game because of the cool martial arts and Lei. It was like I‘m Jackie Chan. So cool and now he isn’t even in the games anymore. I don’t even know what the purpose of those new Avatar system is. But if the majority of the community like it, then maybe they do the right things.
When a game represents a martial art with a character that players end up spamming meaningless poses like Lei, or parries like Leroy, that stops being fun to look at. In the end they end up denigrating the martial art they represent, making it unattractive.

It's truly a weird phenomenon that a chunk of tekken fans see the game as this "super mature grounded martial arts" fighting game when for literal decades now we've had weird and goofy shit from tiny dinosaurs to hulking cyborgs combined with an anime as fuck story, yet for some reason when an old guy shows up teleporting and swinging a laser sword (a thing yoshimitsu has literally had in previous entries) then these guys throw a fit.

Basically Soul Calibur 6 on tekken. Some of his moves reminds me of Setsuna.
A little bit too much for Tekken imo. I'm fine with guns and knives and samurai swords, but glitch teleport on top of it is overwhelming for this game.
And this neon violet scabbard... isn't refined. Even Vergil looks more moderate.
Raven already does that, the glitch effect is a bit much but we have a lot of overpowered characters in the game now half the characters blow the screen up with some attacks
@@Beamkenyeah, but Victor crossed the line for me. I see, he's supposed to be classy, but this poisonous splashes of colors and effects are ruining it IMO. He's still fine, I'm not saying he's ugly, but it's a bit tasteless at this point.
Literally, if his teleport wouldn't do glitch effect and katana wouldn't glow, I'd be fine.
Devil jin, raven and victor are all about to be my 3 mains 💪🏾 also i agree tekken has been dropping the ball soundtrack wise, the dubsteb or whatever you wanna call it gets played out bring back the actual melodic tones that fits the stage and background i would prefer more real instruments tunes than some sound machine.
I think we're getting a jukebox mode to assign (hopefully) older Tekken music to the stages! That may just be a rumour though.

They could of used his teleporting more like he rushes and then teleports and slashes multiple times, and then he ether does a come out of other side ender or he does one motion multiple slices and does it a couple of times as a ender

Not an annoying anime girl that fawns over everything or a sexualized chick who’s only purpose is eye candy. She’s a badass fighting for her country and her design is as realistic as can be.

Tekken 4 had the best soundtrack imo. The dub step stuff is getting old. When I heard the saxophone I had hopes but they were immediately destroyed.

If you excuses the sexy FR voice actor . This one is the most boring , most generic , character design we ever got in tekken s history ever . Like if we had the ability to make our own character. This is what I would make with my limited skills and limited tools that the game gives to me make. GJ on the devs for not really trying anymore

This guy immediately reminded me of Agent from DNF duel. Old man, gun+katana. Slick design. I'm not sure about all the teleporting since I like the 'grounded' aspect of Tekken, but there's only so many Ideas for bare-handed fighters that I don't mind. As long as he doesn't end up being Noctis 2.0.

Miss the days when Tekken was all about representing different martial art styles instead of just different cultures. Not saying he looks bad or anything but i would've preferred a more grounded character design, purely focused on their fighting style like Leroy and Lidia.
