@@fernelyfelizjr.342 he’ll be back. He was killing Adesanya with them calf kicks and Adesanya was hurt. Poatan in my opinion should continue with the kicks once Adesanya was in the fence but l understand that, l thought he had it wrapped up and went for the kill. Adesanya tried his luck and it paid off. That’s the game. He’ll be back. Good luck to you as well in your career. I’m already a fan of all y’all.

I would have liked Alex to stay at 185 and reclaim the belt but i can understand if he wants to move up to 205... He gonna win the 205 belt and set up a massive champ vs champ superfight against Adesanya and knock him out again

@@fernelyfelizjr.342 You’re welcome bro, it’s pretty crazy actually. I just found out about Pereira’s story and how he started late at 22, I turn 24 soon and that really inspired me to start training seriously, but I also have always had a passion for producing music and felt that I had to pick one to be successful, so seeing a guy like you around my age, boxing, producing, AND making videos like this is a great inspiration too man. Subscribed and cant wait to see where you take things, Ill definitely be working too. Also as a Cuban I got mad love for my Dominican brothers 🇨🇺🇩🇴

Telling us to like and subscribe or no more videos... opening shot of Poatan in his undies... it's bribery and it's outrageous!
Fantastic little film, sharing so much of his life in the key moments as a fighter. Intimate and fascinating.
It's really interesting seeing how driven Alex is, but that... his integrity, the need to earn, never take, never steal, success, it's very intense.
So Coach Feliz is our filmmaker's dad, eh?
His work in the break between 4 and 5, that glorious minute, now legendary. Grounded, smart, calm, confident... "Enough, enough...". His tone, demeanour, his advice/instructions, all so spot on and "you've got to knock him out"... Inspiring and clever and there was love and faith in his words... he knew his boy was capable of anything and everything.
Nice to see him go through his paces.
Leopard print suit. Just a big kitten.
But Alex, Alex, Alex. It's a measure of a healthy psyche to be impinged on by injustice or lies directed at you or about you. It stings, even if you know exactly what is going on, why it's being done, that it's a total asshole doing it. But... that preening showboat has built a career on manipulating/fabricating narratives... he is obsessed with it, even in the middle of fights, always the need to present a persona, always the need to tell us how amazing he is rather than... well, just be amazing.
And that's the truth of that. Brilliance doesn't have to be packaged and marketed. It just exists, on its own, and the brilliant don't have to keep braying about how brilliant they are. Pretenders do.
Contempt is used as a weapon and it's pure projection. The contemptible person is the one who knows they bailed on one sport when it got too hard and ran and joined the UFC circus, which is a chaotic house built on sand instead of rock. That it's been a good living kick boxing a tonne of wrestlers and being free to carve a legend out of thin air.
Counter punchers in any sport are boring. There is something parasitical about your whole game depending upon what your opponent does. It's needy. The ability to create and ideate, using original thought and skill, is beyond them. It is a cookie cutter approach to every single person they fight. It's predictable and tedious and shows a lack of charisma, a lack of gravitas.
And thus the need to project his failings onto others. He knows you know and anyone with half a brain, knows. So he just dishes it out harder and faster and louder. Zzzz.
Why were you fast tracked? Yes, it was earnt and no one is getting any younger, but the Kingdom of Adesanya, under his rule, had become a boring wasteland. The style had run it's course, become a predictable yawnfest, and substance was desperately needed. So who was needed, what kind of fighter, what kind of person?
And the now restored middleweight champion knows it. So he has to prance about, again, pretending the recent win was based on his substance, as opposed to sucking the substance from Alex. One round, everyone could see that Alex knew how to break him apart and that Adesanya had no answer to it, no means of breaking Alex down as a fighter. Once again, everything relied upon him taking a beating to create opportunity. That's a pathetic path to victory, it always has been. Deeply uncreative, very low IQ.
And finally, I think the best way to sum up that knockout in Miami... Alex seems to have forgotten he was dealing with a liar.
It's bittersweet that Alex has to build another career, another reputation, UFC being such a cluster fuck of a sport crossed with a pantomime, But patience, patience... that he loves what he does, that he is the hero people didn't know they needed... He's powerful in more ways than just his striking.
It's a strange cruelty that time devoted to conquering one sport, so completely, is being deliberately diminished so that they can sell MMA as the ultimate combat sport, but time, time always tells.
Now learn your bloody English. All that octagon brilliance and getting bitch slapped in the pressers... fuck that, Poatan!
