You need to update and make a new video on socks and sandals, lots of stuff has changed in 2018 about socks and sandals, specially when your in highschool and see everyone wear them.
Ankle strap open toed sandals are the only kind I wear. I hate to be walking along and they come off and I have to stop and put them back on. I also prefer to wear plain black or gray socks that don't draw a lot of attention with them that come up to just above my ankles. If they're knee socks to me that looks like a douche bag. I also wear flip flops in late summer but never with socks. I don't have as much trouble with them staying on my feet because of the toe strap. Do whatever makes you comfortable this world is big enough for all different kinds of personalities and fashion statements.

There is no proper way of wearing socks on sandals. In any cultured civilized country around the world that will make you instant clown. On Mediterranean coast people even have name for that which is “Czech tourist” as there were times when cheap charters were bringing village Czech people and first you were notice on their arrival was that.not to blame them as they never travel anywhere close to warm weather and they didn’t know how to dress up.
