Thank you for your review and "how-to " on the installation of the Whitestone Dome for the Google Pixel 6 Pro. I used your video to install my new Whitestone Dome on my Pixel 6 Pro. Installation went very well by following your steps. So far there are no issues while using the Incipio Duo Case for my Pixel! Thank you again!
I tried installing the Whitestone Dome glass today on my Pixel 6 Pro after following this video like some holy book and was able to do so successfully. I have never managed to put even the normal tempered glass without messing it up , so installing a tempered glass with glue is kind of an achievement. Thanks for making such detailed video.
Reiterating what a few others have said - the UV light should be 15s top, middle, then bottom. Then remove the protective tape and FINALLY do 60s top & bottom TWICE. This and other videos except the Whitestone one seem to miss the repeat of that last 60s. Otherwise, great video. Fitted mine today with no issues, follow the instructions folks.
Did this and the first screens glue solution did not cure. Was like water the whole time so don't give the follow instructions bullshit. Second one followed to a tee again and cured twice as long as giant bubble appeared in the middle. Could be a great product but it's about getting lucky in my experience. It's a very straightforward process but the consistency of the product is shit.
Once installed this screen protector is fantastic. After doing this installation and being successful on my second attempt, I have a few suggestions to those doing it. First, have a box of eyeglass cleaning wipes handy before you start this process. These are basically the same as the wipes provided. I have used Bausch and Lomb Sight Savers for years for cleaning my glasses, including my sweaty bicycling glasses and dirty motorcycle visors. Anyway, if anything goes wrong during your installation, you’ll be glad you had them around to help with clean up. Second, be sure you pull the protection film off of the “dome” in the right direction. On my first installation attempt I pulled the film the wrong way the first time, and didn’t realize it at first and pulled a bit too hard. It didn’t break or anything, but when I was at the stage where the glue is supposed to flow to all corners of the protector, one corner had been bent up, so it wouldn’t lay flat and the glue wouldn’t fill in there. Thus causing me to start over. That the “dome” had been bent was not noticeable until the glue wouldn’t fill in that corner. And even then I didn’t realize the cause of the bend until some time later. Anyway, when I had to start over, this is when I was thankful that I had all those eyeglass cleaning wipes handy! On my next attempt I made sure to pull the film off in the correct direction and didn’t have any problems with the installation. I suggest you look carefully at this before starting the process, the tab to pull this film off is not always in the same corner, I have seen videos where it is on either the right or left, so don’t assume it is on the side in the video you are watching. If things don’t go exactly right the first time…as mine didn’t…don’t panic! If you have something like the eyeglass cleaning wipes handy you can clean the glue up just fine. That said, if I didn’t have these wipes handy, I don’t know how I would have cleaned it up so well…paper towels seem to get up most of it, but still leave a little film or streaks…thus my suggestion to have these wipes nearby just in case! BTW, it is harder to know where to line up the tape on a black phone than the white one shown here, but it’s not too hard. Just be ready for that. To add to the list, this protector works with Spigen Thin Fit case.
I have to thank you for this detailed install. I'm terrified of these types of screen protectors and always mess them up. While the tools provided helped a great deal, your instructions helped just as much. Thank you!
As noted, the contents of the kit can appear intimidating (as in wtf is all this crap for?), but the installation was a breeze following along with the video. I had concerns about the glue getting past the factory glass, it was badly cracked, but no ill effects came about and the upside is the cracks are no longer visible for the most part. Highly recommend.
Thanks for the video. I followed step by step and it worked out well. The only thing that I personally messed up on is, dispensing the glue on an uneven surface. It's very touchy and the glue spilled out on the side. Glad that Whitestone includes 3 containers of glue.
This was a spot on video on how to install this protector. My only issue I had was when removing the pink cap and inserting the glue in the bridge the glue didn't come out on its own but I had to unscrew the other end of the glue container to release the glue. I don't know if it was just me or if this is how it's suppose to work. My first attempt went bad, had air bubbles and the protector wasn't on the way I wanted it to be cause it was positioned lower than I wanted it. The second attempt was much better.
That is exactly how it is supposed to work. You remove the pink cap so that it can be placed into the holder on the jig. To keep from making a mess of the glue, it won't run out until you open the vent under the black cap. Once it is done flowing out, tighten the lid back to help not make any mess.
Works great with my Spigen "Rugged Armour Case". Great instructions, fitted mine with no problems at all and the fingerprint reader actually works! Good stuff.
Spigen Tough Armor works well with Whitesonte dome glass. One thing to note, I had to use my fingers to help spread the glue a bit more AND there were some bubbles that I needed to use my finger to push them out.
This video saved me! I tried the video by the manufacturer and totally botched it twice and had to reorder another one. This video made so much more sense! THANKS!!!! :D
Hands sown the best screen protector I have ever used. I am in construction and an avid outdoorsman and my phones take a beating. After one year of use I finally had to replace the screen protector with the second one that comes in the 2 pack and to be honest I didn't even really need to but my OCD forced me to. I remembered watching this video last year when I installed the first one so came back for a refresh. Excellent video, thanks.
Loved your presentation and pace. It was very helpfuyl and led to a sucessful first time install with my old clumsy fingers. I notice two small things to improve. 1) Point out that the black cap has to be removed after the pink one--studying your video I could see it but you did not mention this. and 2) I don't know if it is important or not, but the Whitestone install video says to expose both ends of the phone to 60 seconds 2x, not just the single time that you showed on the video
Thanks for the video, this worked like a dream. Tried several others, they were junk. Fingerprint reader works perfect. I was hesitant to use "glue". However, your video was spot on. Thank you SO much.
I've removed mine yesterday as touch presses weren't detected correctly on the edge of the screen, as well as back (level up) and options menu on Android. You can just test this yourself. Touch sensitivity already increased. On removing it was glued to my display so hard I was really thinking I'll break the display and without proper tools I would have destroyed my phone. So take care, everything glued must be removable as well again.
My 2 pack Whitestone Dome arrived today! Almost f***kd up and put the glue on without the speaker sticker cover on... But I got it on and it's so nice... My screen feels way better with the dome glass vs the tpu protector. I didn't even need to redo the fingerprints! I'm glad I watched this video too because I have a rhino shield too!
I'm here to say it works perfectly with the Spigen Tough Armor case for the Pixel 6 Pro :D Good vid to help simplify everything. The kit is awesome, I'll be buying more from them in the future for new devices.
It doesn't just fit the OtterBox Defender Pro, it fits it like it was made to go with this case... I have been sitting here stunned for the last 15 minutes.. I just cannot believe how beautifully this turned out and how amazingly epic it is to use 😱 why did I not buy one of these sooner for my other phones omfg
This video convinced me to get this screen protector! After about a week of waiting (because of high demand), I finally got mine yesterday and installed it today with the help of this video. You explained everything perfectly and now I have a great looking phone! Thank you!
I ordered the dome for my pixel 6 pro. Will be march when it get here. I hope the protector is as good as advertised Great how to video, very informative!
Thank you for this video. I took my time, followed your directions, and it worked the first time! I have the Pixel 6 Pro and a Google Case and it fits! My fingerprint scanner also worked the first time. Thank you so much for your helpful video!
Installed mine yesterday thanks to your video and it works well with the Pelican Protector case on my 6 Pro! EDIT: Screen protector cracked within a week. Didn't even need to drop. All I did was remove my phone from my Tesla wireless charging pad, it tapped the back/bottom of the Tesla screen as I pulled it out and cracked it.
A very intimidating process, but this video was very helpful and made it very easy to install. A couple of moments to keep in mind that aren't mentioned in this video: - After you twist the glue canister into place, you actually have to twist the bottom of the glue container as well to get it flowing. - AIR BUBBLES in the glue can occur after you drop the screen down. DON'T PRESS DOWN HARD to get the bubbles out, otherwise you'll press the glue out the sides . Using your finger nails, VERY gently push the glue out to the sides the way you'd normally do it with other screen protectors - You don't need a lot of pressure to get rid of them. They'll move pretty quickly and easily out the sides because of how liquid the glue is.
I have OtterBox. And I just installed whitestone dome and it's incredible. I never felt any screen protector like this one. Hands down the best screen protector I even seen. And thank you for your help
Awesome tutorial. Would never have bought it unless I found it. The glue even filled in two existing scratches to the point where I can't even see them anymore.
What an excellent guide for this screen protector. I was scared when I saw all of the parts but I got it right on the first try with your video. Thanks. You're right it does great and I didn't even have to redo my fingerprints.
Great product but beware and make sure that the top sticker for the earpiece is covering the whole speaker. I got glue in mine and now trying to fix it. Overall if it wasn't for that it a great product. Just a little bit of user error. Hopefully able to fix myself and not have to get service.
Finally found a tempered glass protected that worked, and thanks to you the install was flawless. Nailed it the first time. And you are right, this screen protector does makes the whole display look great! Also I use a Spigen Rugged Armor case and it fits perfects with the screen protector.
I enjoyed your review. I have a Pixel 6 Pro and the Otterbox defender case. I purchased the Whitestone Dome glass on your review findings regarding its compatibility with the Defender case. It does fit the case without touching the edges as you show; however, the tolerances are so tight that if your drop your phone (i dropped mine 2-foot height), the case will contact the glass edge. On impact, it raised the glass on the upper corner. I was able to push it back down, but it does not look as nice as before. It's too bad, I really like the Domeglass, but the case protection is more critical for now. I'll remove the Dome glass and look for a case that protects the Defender before installing the extra Dome glass that came with my kit. I'd have to say that the Pixel 6 Pro Dome glass is not compatible with the Pixel 6 Pro Otterbox defender case. I'd recommend that you add a small drop test to better evaluate compatibility aspect.
Not that it's ideal, but after that happened to me a few times, I now check the clearance between the Otterbox and screen protector whenever one changes and use a little diamond file to trim a few thousandths off of the case edge to avoid contact.
I've been using them for years. They're the best and the come with a warranty. The ONLY problem is they take forever to send you a replacement, BUT you do get 2 in a pack.
@@BadAtGaming3484 My Son only 'Just' applied it. No reason to remove it as yet, so I Don't know if it will leave anything behind. He, (Brian, my Son) says Not 🙂. JaneLee 2/12/22
Great video, thanks! I have one on order and I will be following along with your video when I install it. Hopefully it will work with my Spiegen Tough Arnor case (can't see why it wouldn't). Best wishes for 2022.
@@TheJabberTech I was able to make it work! The first installation failed (uneven at the right edge); fortunately the kit comes with TWO protectors and extra glue, wipes, etc. The second time, everything worked like a charm. One thing you may want to address in your videos: the phone feels a bit gooey right after installation - I had to wipe off the edges of my phone several times, both before and after removing the protective tape. I was afraid that something had gone wrong - but it's all good. The tube contains a LOT of glue, probably more than needed. With the first installation, I had to redo my fingerprint. However, with the second install, the fingerprint scanner worked perfectly - no need to recalibrate. My Spigen Tough Armor case worked just fine with the new screen protector. Again, thanks for your helpful video!
Just got the dome glass in, was saying it would be here in mid March, glad it is here now as I never know when I will need it. As soon as the cheaper protector breaks I will try my luck at installing the dome glass.
@@nicholasvaughn2386 Good luck. I figured out where I went wrong on my first install. The 6 Pro has a curved screen. The glass protector isn't flat - it's curved to match the phone screen. I stupidly didn't check that and installed the protector with the curve up the first time! No wonder it failed. The second time all went well. Just make sure your screen protector is facing down.
Thanks for the installation video. Finger print works perfectly and the screen clarity is beautiful and crystal clear and touch responsiveness is amazing. Make sure you follow this video and take your time to install this glass screen protector. Once complete you won't regret it. Works with the Spigen Tough Armor [Extreme Protection Tech] Designed for Google Pixel 6 Pro Case (2021) - Black.
At 4:52, you forgot to mention to unscrew the black to make the liquid come out. I installed mine and it looked great for the first day. The next day, the glue started coming off. I did it for two phones and they both have the same issue. I'm trying to talk to the Whitestone support to see what to do next. I love the feel of the phones with the glass protectors but the marks on the screen because of the protector coming off are annoying.
@@enuph4all I did follow the official videos and did that. I think it's because they instruct us to wipe the edges with the alcohol wipes to clean the glue, but that allows the alcohol to sneak under the screen. They even mentioned it to me that it's a possible reason when I spoke to them. I told them, then why are they instructing us to do so? I'm about to leave a one star review. They aren't responding to me any longer.
i HAVE to get me this kit as my fingerprint sensor is unusable right now with the protector i have on . no lie it works maybe once in 30 attempts . ive rescanned my prints so many times its unreal with no better outcome
I think the most important preparation is to have a perfectly level surface. When the phone is not level, the glue will not go to the center. I had to manually balance my phone to try to get the glue to move to the center as if I were playing that games with a marble in a maze. And as I'm playing this balancing game, there is chance for dust to get onto the screen. I wonder if there an app that can show if the phone is perfectly balanced. Maybe they should include in the package one of those things with a bubble in water to check the level. Or some other type of test that can simulate the glue on the phone without actually using the glue.
Brilliant video 👍🏼 Just treated myself to the Google Pixel 6 Pro (it was that vs the S22 Ultra, to replace my iPhone 13 Pro Max (got bored with iOS) and as the Pixel 6 Pro doesn't come with a factory screen protector; I wanted to ensure I protect the screen as best as I can. Whitestone Dome have a good offer on Amazon UK currently, so went for that; watched this vide for installation tips and it all went superbly. Much appreciated!
Bought this product. Glad it comes with 2 screen protectors bc simple things like keys in your pockets can crack the edges of the screen protector.... I'm sitting at 2 corners cracked already
I wish I'd watched this before I put my screen on. Their video has no audio and its way easier to follow when you talk your way through it. I missed the side sponges and needless to say that was a mess.
@@chrismugambi2121 Obviously I have no incentive to shill a product I ain't being paid for, but personally speaking I absolutely would. I haven't seen as good a screen protector as far as fitment and installation goes since I had a Samsung S3 almost a decade ago and had a comparable UV install.
Love whitestone dome! I wish they'd offer an option to opt out of the LED lamp as I have three already now but they are definitely worth it. I am rough with my phones but they save me every mishap. I use a Spigen tough armour case and they are a great combo. Thanks for the clear instructions 👌🏻
@@roostersideburns3440 yeah reasonably. The ones I've smashed (slammed in a car door, dropped into a rock, actual phone screen still fine 👍🏻 ) came off very easily. I had to send my phone back for a warranty issue and wanted to remove the protector first. It was only a few months old and perfectly intact. The removal instructions I found were to use floss or thread pulled between the protector and screen to loosen glue which worked but was a bit fussy. The glue residue removed very easily with alcohol and there was no damage to the screen.
Got mine in and installed yesterday. Beautiful! The cases I use that work 100 are: bellroy leather, ringke fusion matte and clear cases, spigen tough armor, ghostek covert, and Dbrand grip
I gave up...really. It's a great shield but I messed it up when I put the screen on backwards due to the lableing. Pulled it off before I UV'd it so that was ok. Now am cleaning, cleaning the screen of residue glue..what a headache! Love my Spigen case so will try to put this shield on again in a few days when I calm down...great video!
I appreciate your video. My installation on my Pixel 7 Pro freaked me out but it worked mostly fine. Advice to anyone doing this since I just did mine. My biggest advice? When you are putting the glass onto the phone, it's odd. It looks wrong because there is a gap. You might think the alignment is off or that the glass should slide under the tabs. Nope. It kind of goes "as far as" the tabs. Like a blocker. But the biggie I found is that no, it didn't lay PERFECTLY. Look at the punch out hole when you pull the tab. I needed to adjust mine WHILE THE GLUE WAS SETTING in order to get it near perfect. I would have been bad if I didn't notice in time. It's still not perfectly centered which annoys me, but really focus on whether the hole in the glass is properly lined up. It's like you have about 1-2 seconds to adjust it so...stress time. My apartment building is not exactly level! I read some other advice about a level table so I used a level to determine I needed to raise it on the side. I can see why. You want to check before getting into this. That glue will slide quick! You want full control of how it slides into place. It's stressful believe me! My Pixel 7 Pro had a different method for covering the top speaker grill. It's not like show here. The only way that made sense was to install the plastic piece first, then apply the tape. It wasn't that easy and didn't go into place very easily, requiring me to remove it twice at least. The taping is a hassle because you don't want to have the tape too close to the display and getting in the way. But that means there is barely any tape in some cases covering the holes! Check this over many time before saying "good enough". You can see the outlines of the holes if you press down the tape well enough. This tutorial doesn't do a good job at showing how to remove the caps to let the glue out. The colored cover first, yes. But the black cover on top has to be removed and it was super tight and hard to remove. A bit of stress considering you're doing this while the glue is pouring out above the phone. The camera cover what the biggest f'ing nightmare. What a stupid system they have. Pull this, pull that. How!? It was utterly stupid and impossible to figure out. eventually I found the actual "cover" and put it on. Sloppy with bubbles. For the Pixel 7 Pro it literally ended up in many different pieces with only 1 being the actual cover. You simply won't know which way to pull tab 1. Up? Down? Hard? Why isn't it releasing like it should? There is paper in there as well for good measure to confuse you even more.
I have a small area where the glue didn't spread to, is this an issue? The area was bigger on my first screen protector so I had to scrap that one, now it's just a small section on the second one :( towards bottom of my phone
Thanks for the video. My Whitestone package had NO install instructions, not even a web link to installation instructions. Weird. Has everyone not received any instructions?
I've heard people have messed up their speakers by getting glue in them. How secure do you think that tape at the top is? Seems a bit scary for a new phone.
Just used your video for the install on my Pixel 6 Pro and it came out flawless!! Using an OtterBox case and it looks absolutely amazing! The other screen protector is going back to Amazon, it's a hunk of junk compared to the Whitestone. Thank you for posting this how to!
hello. The worst thing happened ) I purchased and installed whitestone dome glass on my Pixel 6 Pro on the second attempt, because the first time, when the last drops of glue fell out of the tube on the screen, I snagged the table and half of the glue from the screen flowed into the side of the phone. taking the phone off the plastic platform, some glue seemed to leak under the bottom edge of the main camera, right in the junction with the bottom of the case... the gap distance is about 0.5-0.7 mm. after thoroughly cleaning the smartphone with wipes and 90% alcohol, decided on a second attempt. By the way, the second glass set perfectly and I am very happy with it. However, now I'm worried about the disaster with the glue spilled under the bottom of the camera unit. The consistency of the adhesive is very oily and even on my fingers after alcohol wipes it turns into a light layer, similar to grease ( I do not want to imagine what will happen in the summer with this liquid inside the phone if it got there, because I live in a hot country and is projected a strong heating of the smartphone. advise, please, what is the best way to deal with this situation, if not yet take into account the service center? what is the risk of adhesive fluid getting inside the device?
All manufacturers who sell smartphones with curved screens should have the kindness if not even the obligation to provide 2 to 3 screen protectors of this kind in the package. Seriously, 2.5D is more than enough and adequate given the thinness that screen borders can have today, the Pixel 5 has proven that it is possible. And seriously that u-shape for the selfie of curved screen smartphones is ridiculous.
Quick question - You said that, during the 100 seconds, the glue might NOT reach every edge and you might have to "help" it. How would you do this? Tilt the tray a little? Or with a little pressure from the top? I want one of these for my next device but, honestly, the process is a little intimidating.
This is THE video to watch and follow along. Watch the video all the way through, then follow along pausing to complete each step. It seems daunting until you do it and the wonder what all the fuss was about. Just listen and do what he says including taking your time. Whitestone Dome Glass dbrand grip case
@@TheJabberTech Of course! one more question if you don't mind... so i ordered the screen protector and it is coming with UV curing light. is that the same product that they sell to sanitize your phone?
Somebody needs to make a comparison of the finger print sensor with this protector vs a cheap one. Im about ready to throw my phone in the dumptser the finger print sensor was working great with a cheap glass protector and all the sudden it doesn't and idk if I should buy this one or if I should just put money towards a better phone instead. The more it stresses me out the less it works and I have to unlock my phone about 150 times a day because im using my phone for data entry
Advice please. I watched your excellent video several times, purchased this screen protector, followed the video, ensured a level surface and this was the result. First attempt. All went fine until I laid down the protector. Large air bubbles appeared immediately underneath. Impossible to get rid of them. So had to try again from the start with the second spare protector. Second attempt. This time the protector went down and looked great. And then before starting the lamp process, two small spots became detached at the very bottom - about the size of a small finger print. Again, couldn't get rid of these effects. Went ahead with the lamp. Could see the effects but otherwise the screen was excellent. But gradually these spots are increasing in size and will soon reach the finger unlock area. Before buying another set, could you please give me any advice about what may have gone wrong. I spent a lot of time ensuring that all was clean as set out in your video.

Appreciate your support!
What about removing it when it breaks? Is the glue resedew or is it just like normal protector?

Probably the most involved screen protector install I've done, but worth it.
You made this process look less intimidating. I appreciate the phone case compatibility tests at the end. Well done.
Appreciate it!
Your video appeared straight after the offical installation video. So glad it did, as I found yours so much better.
Appreciate it!
Mine just came in the mail for my P6P. Slightly intimidating but you make it seem pretty easy. I'll put it on soon and report back.
Just confirming the dbrand grip works with the protector. Thanks for the instructions!
Thanks!
I have to thank you for this detailed install. I'm terrified of these types of screen protectors and always mess them up. While the tools provided helped a great deal, your instructions helped just as much. Thank you!
Awesome 👍
As noted, the contents of the kit can appear intimidating (as in wtf is all this crap for?), but the installation was a breeze following along with the video. I had concerns about the glue getting past the factory glass, it was badly cracked, but no ill effects came about and the upside is the cracks are no longer visible for the most part. Highly recommend.
Thanks for the video. I followed step by step and it worked out well. The only thing that I personally messed up on is, dispensing the glue on an uneven surface. It's very touchy and the glue spilled out on the side. Glad that Whitestone includes 3 containers of glue.
This worked a treat... My Pixel 6 Pro never looked better!!!! Great video!!!
Appreciate it!
I went and deleted all my fingerprints and re entered them. I found that the scanner worked much better now after I did this.
THANKS!!!! :D
Glad to help!
Awesome! Appreciate it
Loved your presentation and pace.
To add to the cases, I've installed mine and using a Caseology Vault case on mine, and had no problems. Had it installed for about 2 weeks now
Oh and big proper thanks to you for sharing this installation video, exceptionally helpful
Glad to help!
Awesome 😎
Excellent. Tough armor is on its way
How is the touch sensitivity after dome glass?
It doesn't just fit the OtterBox Defender Pro, it fits it like it was made to go with this case...
I have been sitting here stunned for the last 15 minutes.. I just cannot believe how beautifully this turned out and how amazingly epic it is to use 😱 why did I not buy one of these sooner for my other phones omfg
This video convinced me to get this screen protector! After about a week of waiting (because of high demand), I finally got mine yesterday and installed it today with the help of this video. You explained everything perfectly and now I have a great looking phone! Thank you!
Glad to help!
I ordered the dome for my pixel 6 pro. Will be march when it get here. I hope the protector is as good as advertised
Great how to video, very informative!
Glad to help!
I just applied mine. I followed along step by step and it was flawless. Thanks!
Thank you for this video. I took my time, followed your directions, and it worked the first time! I have the Pixel 6 Pro and a Google Case and it fits! My fingerprint scanner also worked the first time. Thank you so much for your helpful video!
Glad to help!
It's the best. I installed it a few days ago and couldn't believe how good it is.
Awesome 👍
Installed mine yesterday thanks to your video and it works well with the Pelican Protector case on my 6 Pro!
EDIT: Screen protector cracked within a week. Didn't even need to drop. All I did was remove my phone from my Tesla wireless charging pad, it tapped the back/bottom of the Tesla screen as I pulled it out and cracked it.
Thank you for this. may be really clear but I was just looking for a comment like then so I don't buy just in case

A very intimidating process, but this video was very helpful and made it very easy to install.
A couple of moments to keep in mind that aren't mentioned in this video:
- After you twist the glue canister into place, you actually have to twist the bottom of the glue container as well to get it flowing.
Nice!
anyone know if this screen protector is compatible with the encased falcon?? its like an otterbox ripoff, on amazon
Awesome tutorial. Would never have bought it unless I found it. The glue even filled in two existing scratches to the point where I can't even see them anymore.
How about removing it, say to replace it if it's damaged? I've heard of people breaking their screens removing protectors like this?
Never heard of that, the glue isn't gorilla glue. However, they provide a plastic card in the box if you need to peel it off
What an excellent guide for this screen protector.

Good Luck 🤞🏻
Finally found a tempered glass protected that worked, and thanks to you the install was flawless. Nailed it the first time. And you are right, this screen protector does makes the whole display look great! Also I use a Spigen Rugged Armor case and it fits perfects with the screen protector.
How is the dome holding up 6-months later?
@@chrismugambi2121 well I dropped it and it cracked the glass, so I replaced it and it is flawless as ever. Great screen protector
@@mackcollins4529 That's awesome. 2nd time is a charm, 😁. Thanks for letting me know 👍🏾
I just put mine on my Pixel and it looks amazing. I had your video playing while I did it. Definitely just take your time and it will come out great.
Awesome!
Appreciate your feedback. I still use my defender pro without issue.I'll also leave drop test vids to other channels
Not that it's ideal, but after that happened to me a few times, I now check the clearance between the Otterbox and screen protector whenever one changes and use a little diamond file to trim a few thousandths off of the case edge to avoid contact.
Great tutorial, thank you! My Crave Dual Guard case fits like a glove with it!
I've been using them for years. They're the best and the come with a warranty. The ONLY problem is they take forever to send you a replacement, BUT you do get 2 in a pack.
How easy is it to remove if it cracks or you mess up?
@@danr3055
VERY 👍🏻
But if you're gluing it to your screen doesn't it leave stuff behind

Great video, thanks! I have one on order and I will be following along with your video when I install it. Hopefully it will work with my Spiegen Tough Arnor case (can't see why it wouldn't). Best wishes for 2022.
Appreciate it, happy new year 🎊
@@TheJabberTech I was able to make it work!
Great! Tough armor is the case I have too! Any other HD cases to recommend?
Appreciate it!
This MIGHT have been because the Whitestone video instructs you do two sets of the final 60 seconds exposures...one after the other.
Waiting for mine to come in the mail. Can't wait.
Let me know how it goes, I might buy one for my pixel, of it ever shows up
Great instructions, thank you. Works with Spigen Tough Armour case, although I did have to retrain my finger prints
Thanks for the vid. Love my dome glass, first time using it and very impressed. Works with my Ringke Clear case too!
Glad it helped
Excellent video. Followed along step by step, no issues. Working great with the Spigen Tough Armor case.

Love whitestone dome! I wish they'd offer an option to opt out of the LED lamp as I have three already now but they are definitely worth it. I am rough with my phones but they save me every mishap.
I use a Spigen tough armour case and they are a great combo.
Thanks for the clear instructions 👌🏻
do they come off easy?
@@roostersideburns3440 yeah reasonably. The ones I've smashed (slammed in a car door, dropped into a rock, actual phone screen still fine 👍🏻 ) came off very easily. I had to send my phone back for a warranty issue and wanted to remove the protector first. It was only a few months old and perfectly intact. The removal instructions I found were to use floss or thread pulled between the protector and screen to loosen glue which worked but was a bit fussy. The glue residue removed very easily with alcohol and there was no damage to the screen.
I use amFilm tempered glass over dome glass. They have a cylinder over the scanner when you cure the glue.
Got mine in and installed yesterday. Beautiful! The cases I use that work 100 are: bellroy leather, ringke fusion matte and clear cases, spigen tough armor, ghostek covert, and Dbrand grip
Nice!

Just installed the protector on my Pixel 6 PRO, looks amazing, like nothing is there. No problem with my case (Quadlock case)
awesome!
I've had issues with the Caseology vault pushing up screen protectors. Anyone tried vault and some glass yet?
I've installed the Whitestone Dome glass on my Pixel 6 Pro and have the Caseology Vault case on mine, and not had any problems

hello.
The worst thing happened )
I purchased and installed whitestone dome glass on my Pixel 6 Pro on the second attempt, because the first time, when the last drops of glue fell out of the tube on the screen, I snagged the table and half of the glue from the screen flowed into the side of the phone. taking the phone off the plastic platform, some glue seemed to leak under the bottom edge of the main camera, right in the junction with the bottom of the case... the gap distance is about 0.5-0.7 mm.
after thoroughly cleaning the smartphone with wipes and 90% alcohol, decided on a second attempt.
By the way, the second glass set perfectly and I am very happy with it.
However, now I'm worried about the disaster with the glue spilled under the bottom of the camera unit.
The consistency of the adhesive is very oily and even on my fingers after alcohol wipes it turns into a light layer, similar to grease (
I do not want to imagine what will happen in the summer with this liquid inside the phone if it got there, because I live in a hot country and is projected a strong heating of the smartphone.
advise, please, what is the best way to deal with this situation, if not yet take into account the service center?
what is the risk of adhesive fluid getting inside the device?
I wouldn't stress until you have to
I have it myself by far the best 😊
All manufacturers who sell smartphones with curved screens should have the kindness if not even the obligation to provide 2 to 3 screen protectors of this kind in the package.
Seriously, 2.5D is more than enough and adequate given the thinness that screen borders can have today, the Pixel 5 has proven that it is possible.
And seriously that u-shape for the selfie of curved screen smartphones is ridiculous.
great a firmly glued disk what do you do if it breaks???
So, if you crack the screen and need to replace. How is the removal process to re-install?
Similar to this ruclips.net/video/Rx5Ik60LGGo/видео.html
Quick question - You said that, during the 100 seconds, the glue might NOT reach every edge and you might have to "help" it. How would you do this? Tilt the tray a little? Or with a little pressure from the top? I want one of these for my next device but, honestly, the process is a little intimidating.
tilting, do not press

Somebody needs to make a comparison of the finger print sensor with this protector vs a cheap one. Im about ready to throw my phone in the dumptser the finger print sensor was working great with a cheap glass protector and all the sudden it doesn't and idk if I should buy this one or if I should just put money towards a better phone instead. The more it stresses me out the less it works and I have to unlock my phone about 150 times a day because im using my phone for data entry
Has anyone had the glue not come out of the tube? Apart from one drop, the glue doesn't appear to be coming out after 30-60 seconds.
Remove both caps ,top and bottom ✔️
Would this work with supcase ubpro, after their plastic screen protector is ripped out?
