Ancient dragon lightning strike deals 10-20k damage per charged hit, plus after 2 or 3 hits the golem gets staggered. Legit kills the golems in seconds
damn man you're right, just tried it out. literal miracle spell. Faith is 55 for me so yeah for those who didn't get the damage out of it maybe spec towards faith.
since your damage mostly not matter it is much safer to stagger the golems on mount as you have a double jump and thus its much easier since your jump window is much bigger to avoid their stomp fire. getting away from the explosion and jumping the double stomp is also much quicker and easier when you are already mounted. you need to stagger every fire golem exactly 3 times to make them fall over. "royal knights resolve" combined with crit damage talisman while 2handing makes quick end of them once they are down.
The sad part about how poorly this enemy was developed is that you have to fight it on a flat surface to get the critical hit to the face, even a slight elevation it won't let you do a critical hit.
? they are super cool and not poorly designed at all. what you are describing has never happened to me. You can also attack the open basket when they are on the ground
@@nathantagg2691 He's right, it's bad because of all the elevation in terrain where you fight them. They constantly fall at angles at don't allow for the reposte animation it play so you can't do anything.
These guys are SUPER weak to Knights Lightning Spear! I was about to give up because Vow of the Indomitable, and FireKnight GS weren’t cutting it. 2 charged KLS will stagger him, and 6 to break his poise. I only needed 3 FP flasks to take take them out, and I’d need at least 5 with Vow of Indomitable. Glad I saw this video to give lightning a try, just different lighting worked better for me!
Get your biggest hammer and apply Wild Strikes AoW. The ash can continuously attack without interruption, which is very effective for breaking posture.
One of the best Weapons for this fight is the New Sword from Promised Consort boss. The ones with the ash of war called Promised Consort, you can deal 10k dmg per combo, it is amazing and will stagger the boss really fast if that is an option for you
You're talking about beating the DLC and the last boss to get the rememberence weapon just to defeat something you run into in the very beginning of the DLC??? That makes sense 🤔

The Golem where you to thrownpots in the top is Bad game design. It takes 3 pots to kill the Golem but you can only carry 2. Then if you run out of Visages, you cant make more pots.
Hefty FURNACE pots that create a whirlwind of flames actually do the most damage. A note on one of the dead ones actually tells you this.
Is it anywhere or is it just in the basket like ign is saying?

@@WhiteBoyGamer I believe stagger is only based on damage, not stance, so damage does matter quite a bit to knocking them down
You can just call the firefighters
Don't wake them up for that, they are sleeping or playing COD
