im trying to do the same exercise but im interested on showing the differential in elevation between two surfaces and use heatmap to display red colour on any spots that are out of tolerance against the model; still havent figured it out.
Hello Silentwarzone, Go to Surface properties, then, surface style, and select Elevation banding; it will display a range of colours. Under the surface properties window, click on analysis, then under Ranges, modify the options accordingly. It should give you the desired result. Let's know how it goes...
@@SurveyingSolution I been watching videos and your instruction matches with what I saw BUT, under surface style I don't have elevation banding as option only have one choice there says 'standard' I believe. In fact, the people I watched in the vids have a lot of options there, I don't in know why I only have one.
Maybe it's the version or how the whole process started. If you followed through to that point, I can assume maybe it's version difference that causes it...
@@SurveyingSolution it's 2018. I see there's option to create a style though but I'm not sure it's the area I need to create style with similar properties to elevation banding.
