That would actually make sense due to gravity being weird in the reverse world .but my counter to that is this if they are controlling anti matter it means they control everything about it including mass. Space time warps around highly dense or massive things
@@bubalackgaming8892 This would absolutely be the case if the intention was _dark_ matter instead of _anti_ matter. (Yes, the thing that #1 is named after.) The reason this is likely is the fact that dark matter as a hypothetical substance is one that interacts with none of the fundamental forces... except for gravity. The entire reason it was hypothesised is because the mass contained in various galaxies doesn't seem to be enough to provide enough *gravity* to hold them together.

My favourite's Demi-Fiend from the Shin Megami Tensei franchise. A normal high school student who had to witness the end of the world, the death of everyone and be turned into a demon by forces outside of his control. Through his sheer rage towards these unfair forces and systems the dude goes and punches every damn demon and deity to death and ultimately dismantles the very system itself that caused the end of the world in the first place. And that's just the first step in his goals, as the next one was to go after the very being that created the said system so none can be forced under the whims of some narcissistic egoistic deity anymore. And as stated by the latest title in the franchise, this goal is fulfilled. A dude so angry that he's treated as one of the most powerful characters in the entire franchise, to the point he is the most difficult JRPG super boss, and even in his latest incarnation he is still a properly difficult super boss. A teenager so angry that even a true god that can kill a transcended super god still struggles at fighting him, while the Demi-Fiend treats this fight as a mere sparring match.
With the first time he's a superboss, it's incredibly telling that the music playing is HIS RANDOM BATTLE MUSIC! Like I can only imagine having gone from playing Nocturne to DDS, getting challenged by the protag, & the music saying that this is just Tuesday for him.
His dds fight is absolute garbage. Dunno what definition of difficult you have but it’s very braindead and only has one single solution. Absolute snooze fest. Satan in the sequel is never talked about despite being a more interesting and important character when you look at the franchise as a whole, and a superior boss fight. Oh right, people sucking the dds Demi fiend fight never actually fought him nor touched dds and get their sources from Buffmaister’s 40 min video and memes. Which explains why they’d have such an unnaturally positive opinion on that fight, because nobody who beat him had fun doing it. OMG HE PLAYS THE RANDOM ENCOUNTRE THEMMM!🤯🤯🤯 WE ARE RANDYMM ENCROUTREE😲😲😲 His role in 5 is fanservice and non canon, but his fight is FAR better designed indeed. It directly retcons Nocturne’s tde events, changing his target from ‘The Great Will’ to ‘God’. Don’t give me the mistranslation card, the Japanese version always meant Great will and even the 2021 remaster kept Great will. He and Lucifer waged war on the Great will. And the dlc campaign follows tde, so it’s retconned, therefore not canon or at least completely separate from Nocturne’s events. Just like the Diamond realm dlc in Apocalypse, he obviously didn’t actually meet the other 4 protagonists and fought Stephen. Pure fanservice.
Thankfully, Ghiratina seems pretty chill and helps out every time it gets depicted in modern times, so I guess he's mellowed out over the eons since whatever atrocity occurred. Can't help but wonder if that trend will change in Legends tho.

Is that not Sonic's entire schtick: just having fun being who you are no matter what anyone says? Meanwhile, I love how people would say "it slows the game down to a crawl." Right...I mean, they're half right, but half the game is stupid fast; compare that to Sonic Labyrinth where ALL the game is slow and Sonic being slower as Werehog at least makes more sense than Sonic being tricked by Eggman in to wearing Slow-Down Shoes...yes...really... >.>
@Bluestreaker: I believe you are referring to the Fleetway Comics Super Sonic, not Archie Comics. Sometimes referred to as just 'Fleetway', the brand of the same name used to work in conjunction with SEGA Europe to make 'Sonic The Comic', and included segments showcasing other SEGA Genesis games new at the time. It was where the Backstory involving Dr Ovi Kintobor and Sonic (a Brown Hedgehog at the time) being friends before an accident involving the Chaos Emeralds and a spoilt Egg transformed them both - I kid you not. The greatest thing to come from this weird (compared to Archie Comics' later Issues) Comic Book was the Debut of Super Sonic, a being of uncontrollable Chaotic Energy that is Sonic's Negative Side manifest. Absorbing massive quantities of Chaos Radiation from the Master Emerald, Sonic temporarily transforms into an indestructible Golden Demon with one thing on its mind: Destroy everyone Sonic holds near and dear to his Heart! Fleetway Super Sonic kept fighting for control of Sonics body and eventually was separated from him, but even after being sealed away where he couldn't break free, his infinite energy output turned his very Prison into a World-Ending Event, forcing Sonic to release him! I can go on, but it'd be easier for you to watch a video dedicated to this Golden Demon. Have Fun (and Nightmares)!
@@lianaverwood9810 Right. Thanks to Sonic Mega Collection, I was able to read some of the older comics, and yes, they are fucking bizarre...and I love them for that. Sonic is more fun as a franchise when it embraces the insanity and doesn't take itself too seriously. ;)
I'm not sure how to feel about Giratina. The main line games obviously paint him as monstrous, but I still remember the movies where he only did anything cause he was mad at Dialga and Palkia messing up his home over their petty fights.
If Arceus made all in his image, similar to Abrahamic God, then if people can change, why not the deity of antimatter as well? Giratina could very well of been thing Logan fears in the past, but years in the distortion world have changed him.

There were a couple things that came to mind that didn't show up, namely the Time Eater from Sonic Generations and Dark Matter from Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon. Though if you were avoiding choosing from the same franchise, I can understand. Especially considering Giratina and Dark Gaia are both more demonic than the things I listed.

I honestly don't know if this guy is classified as a demon, but my pick is zongazonga from Fossil fighter's champions.he is basically a giant zombie/skeleton/necromancer/t-rex hybrid with devil horns and blue flames set ablaze on the back of his head. He also is able to possess others by knocking out their skull and is capable of mind control.
I DON’T THINK THE HOLY BOUNCER LETS CROCODILE CROTCH INTO HEAVEN MY DUDE! … THAT one line had me laughing for and actual HOUR. This man is a modern day SHAKESPEARE!
HE LIIIIIVES! Also I’m both surprised and at the same time not that there is no Darkstalkers representation. Either Morrigan or Jedah would’ve taken that spot if I had to guess.
Ah, just loved the Helluva Boss clips as reference. Bit of a shame that this was just video game demons, but admittedly, there's a ton of them across all media, and it probably took you a while to just narrow it down to 10 of them Not surprised that Giratina, Ganon and Dark Matter are on the list, nor am I surprised that they're the top 3. I am kinda surprised that Nightmare from Soul Calibur isn't on the list, though
It wouldn’t be Nightmare, as that’s a byproduct of killing your dad with a demonic sword, and assuming someone else did it. Soul Edge would be the true demonic entity, along with Inferno.
I'd like to point out that both Palkia and Dialga are also banished to their own dimensions due to their ongoing rivalry with each other. My personal theory is that Giratina got in the way of one of their duels and got banished for his troubles.
What I find so intriguing, given we now know that Dialga and Palkia also have Origin Formes, is how close to the divine Arceus their forms appear, while Giratina’s true form is a rejection of it. If it is true that Giratina is the embodiment of antimatter, perhaps its reason for its banishment is that it simply CANNOT exist within the physical world that Arceus -through Dialga and Palkia- sought to create. Chaos incarnate, the complete decimation of matter should it meet with matter. Not only was it banished, it was given an altered form made to crawl across the ground, losing the power to Levitate and forced only to exert its Pressure upon its foes. Love Giratina, always have.
Going in completely blind without internet, just seeing Giratina's overworld sprite animation was absolutely petrifying as a kid. Even more so when witnessing the visual effects and hearing the noises from Shadow Force as the first move it used, after reading the dialogue "vanished instantly," *holy fucking shit there's nothing else like it.* Each second I experienced with Giratina was legit astonishing and intense beyond my belief. It's very presence shook me to the core and left an impact that I will _never_ forget. Deserving of the top 3 spot, without a shadow of a doubt.
Honestly id like to just talk about the DrakCurse from Miitopia for a moment. *spoilery stuff look away if u think its a good idea* The way its true form is not that of a natural-born evil, but moreso a person who truly suffered through being nothing short of FORGOTTEN resulted in a being that could corrupt basically ANYBODY into a god whos able to RIP OF AND ADD ON FACES is honestly genius for the game and is strikingly realistic to miis AND real-life. Loneliness spiraled into depression, which then spiraled into them CASTING THEIR OWN DAMN FACE AWAY BECAUSE THEY SAW IT AS WHAT CAUSED THEIR ABANDONEMENT... holy hell. and its a bit like something thats probably relatable to a lot of people. We all probably made lots of miis in our time, but theres some we... didnt like. Or maybe even forgot about... Hell, werent there DEFAULT miis nobody talks about (unless you're a person who horns over Smash's blank slate zoner)? Although Miitopia probably shares with pokemon in there being endless multiverses with similar canons, i still think if there one true canon, said default would be the soul behind all of this. And just to be honest... if you think about it... its power is terrifying. Turning regular joe schmoes into DEMON LORDS, and almighty sages into SUNS THAT CAN REPLICATE THE BIG BANG... imagine what power it could behold if it chose the strongest possible host. And all of this caused by something not being noticed... because its so forgettable you forgot about it. Honestly probably describes a lot of people (especially the most depressed, downtrodden and desperate of us) really well. Wait... does that mean there could be more dark curses out there? I mean if one ordinary guy having a rough life is enough to result in this... there could be more out there. Thats honestly terrifying looking at it from a regular character's perspective. Hell, it even doesnt mind DYING. If when you have it contained you choose to... PURGE IT, its last words are "thank you". Now i'm no expert... but thats got some (intentional or not) downright SUICIDAL connotations! It chooses to be the suffering of others, but wouldnt mind being put out of its own. For a funny mii game you bought cus it was on switch and you saw some funny people on twitter replicate characters well with it... thats very freaky. A demon born of nothing short of self-hatred and loathing that gladly embraces DEATH... thats very terrifying of a concept. Anyways thanks for listening to my (probably looking into things too deep) ramblings, i'll be going now.
I personally would have put Mom from The Binding of Isaac on the list. I know she's not a demon, but so many of her forms are so demonic that I think it might as well count. Either her or Mega Satan. But I do agree with Dark Matter being at the top.
The Holidays, Christmas, the birth of Jesus Christ, Hanukkah, in celebration of the Maccabean Revolt where they stood up against oppression. Fawfuls Minons: So about demons…
Ngl I absolutely loved this one; felt like a nice vidja stew stirred from the niche old vids and even nicher new vids, and the visual comedy was on point enough to contest needle kirby; would love to see more vids like this in the future! TLDR: Good job :)
Fun fact about Castlevania Dracula is that its established in Aria of Sorrow that Dracula is the the on earth avatar for a primordial eldritch being known as Chaos to rain...well, chaos in the world of man to feed it.
I'll be honest most of these I just can't consider demons, some of them not even vaguely related to demons. Giratina prime among them, he's a dark fellow, but he's been proven time and time again to be the good guy, the master of balance. Giratina made him to balance out all of the stuff he made int he world, and when it gets thrown out of wack Giratina shows up to put it back in order.
Well if we have a demon list, surely that means an angel list is coming up, right? Funny thing about Yami, the whole "5 evils" thing seems like it was largely spread from Chuggaaconroy's LP, but he has since apologized since the source he got it from was unreliable and there's actually no indication that the connections were intentional. It's possible, but it's purely speculation as opposed to the truth he originally thought it was. Contrary to popular belief, Kirby is not evil. Void is not inherently evil. The only thing Void is inherently is Chaos, but it can manifest anywhere on the spectrum between Good and Evil. Kirby is a manifestation on the extreme side of Good.
Hm? Oh don't mind me, I'm just gonna wait until RUclips says it doesn't like the word "demon" in the title. I'll update this as situations warrant. Edit: RUclips gets one W. ONE.
The way you describe Dark Gaia you make it seem like somekind of mastermind. Rather than, you know, the feral animal it actually is. That being said, Dark Gaia is the only villain Sonic has a sense of fear of. Especially since he didn't really beat it. He nearly died, but was saved last minute by another god who summoned a colossal stone megazord and the chaos emeralds to aid him, and they still only managed to just lull DG to sleep.
Honestly don't know why I expected to see any Bayonetta demon on here, since i don't remember if you've ever dipped your feet into that franchise. But many thanks for the Sonic Unleashed reference, it truly makes my day!

@@StartouchArts Gravity doesn't just _affect_ space and time. Gravity _is_ *distortion* of spacetime. Gravity is the consequence of bendable spacetime. The moment time and space existed, it would be impossible for gravity to _not_ exist.
OMG HE PLAYS THE RANDOM ENCOUNTRE THEMMM!🤯🤯🤯 WE ARE RANDYMM ENCROUTREE😲😲😲
His role in 5 is fanservice and non canon, but his fight is FAR better designed indeed.
"Sonic's a purified embodiment of chaos" is an unexpected take but it makes a lot of sense.
Thankfully, Ghiratina seems pretty chill and helps out every time it gets depicted in modern times, so I guess he's mellowed out over the eons since whatever atrocity occurred. Can't help but wonder if that trend will change in Legends tho.
So this aged well.
The reason why giratina was booted from earth? He HATES his own father.
@@ericrautio7451 The funny thing is, this reply could be ironic or unironic, and it'd still be correct either way.
@@ericrautio7451 yep this definitely aged well huh
@@ericrautio7451 We still don't know what it did. Even the ancient Celestica feared it, so even if its sin was to destroy their civilization (which I doubt since Volo prizes his heritage so much), it still was feared before then.
I knew you were gonna include the shadow queen. I just didn't expect her to be that high. She's my favorite demon, but I know Paper Mario isn't a very well known franchise for containing demons.
which is why she's that high.
THIS WAS A GAME WHERE MARIO LOOKS LIKE PAPER LESS THAN 20 MINUTES AGO, WHEN DID THE DEVIL'S WIFE GET INVITED TO IT!?!?
I am glad to see Ganon on this list. Can't have a list of iconic demons in games without the OG, who made many people turn away from pigs meat for many years to come xD
And, oh my gods, I am so pleased to see that Void / Dark Matter has claimed this throne.
For, indeed, this entity deserves to be respected, feared and behold... :3
EDIT:
Hearing my name in the Credits still feels weird. Mortals usually don't speak it with such reverence.
Applauds to you, little friend. You're very entertaining and worth every attention. :)
Agreed, people are often forgetting that the bastard is a demon in all but name
Just because your past lives are evil, doesn’t mean you gotta 1 up them.
This evil is only surpassed by lovecraftian horrors
OOT Ganon is definitely the GOAT though. He looks like from that crawled up from the bowels of hell.
@@Hello_World_not_takenHence why Dark Matter takes the spot above him.
Nothing says the Christmas season like a list about demons. Though, given how stressful they can be, it’s oddly appropriate
It's a magical feeling seeing a Fawful's Minion video notification. There's really nothing like it.
“Almost like Arceus is scared of it”
You clearly haven’t seen the Arceus movie. Giratina couldn’t so much as scratch him even with Dialga and Palkia on his side.
Or Legends Arceus, where God just... ignores its attempts to rebel.
@@ProfessionalNamielleLewder69 Arceus flat out ignores everything
@@BJGvideos Yup. It takes the Creation and Lake Trio giving their all to even bring Arceus' HP down to 0... except it only stuns it for a few seconds and goes back to raining armageddon.
@@ProfessionalNamielleLewder69 Oh no I mean how it ignores its own creation
The very second that you mentioned hybrids, I knew for a FACT that Dante was gonna show up somewhere.
Interesting you mention that Sonic's Werehog form is the potential personification of his fear of losing himself to the chaos that he is and destroying the world considering that's the ORIGINAL vision of Super Sonic from the Archie Comics series. Looking back, I don't get why people hate the Werehog; it's not only the antithesis to Super Sonic, it's a callback to the original concept! So yeah, like you said, "Y'all clearly don't know your character." XD
I think it more has to do with the gameplay whiplash rather then the actual werehog
@@geoshark12 You're not entirely wrong, but some people genuinely hated the Werehog simply because they thought it was a stupid idea. Yeah...that's...kinda the point? Seriously, these people have clearly never read any of the Archie comics and it shows. OFC it's stupid! But it's FUN! I LIKE stupid fun! Is that not the embodiment of chaos unbound?
Sonic is more fun as a franchise when it embraces the insanity and doesn't take itself too seriously. ;)
Hot damn, this entire list was worth the wait! You really outdid yourself, Logan.
Though we all collectively joke that Kirby fights lovecraftian stuff, it wasn’t until SA that he actually fought a god
LESS THAN 35 SECONDS, AND YOU MAKE ME LAUGH ALREADY!? Damn. You too good, Minion.
Speaking of Dark Matter, I cant wait to see what happens in Kirby and The Forgotten Land.
I know this a little late to say but whatever you’re expecting you’re going to be surprised
"Giratina. Is concerning."
"What you gonna do, old man? Stop me? Hehehehehe."
This entry is incredibly haunting.
Well damn, I was expecting our boi Kirb to be *somewhere* on this list but I wasn't prepared for him to hit the top spot!! FM continuing to give Kirby the respect he deserves like the legend he is 👏👏👏
seems like we finally got a video where we can say "featuring Dante from Devil May Cry"

You know, that Sonic Unleashed segment really explains why he's in the Dark Realm in World of Light
Shin Megami Tensei has enough options that you could fill the top 10 with nothing but Tyrant, Vile, and Fallen demons and still leave off a ton of incredible demons.

1:44 YES thank you for recognizing Helluva Boss!
The entire Shin Megami Tensei series. That's it that's my pick. Too many demons to pick a true favorite

Not surprised that Giratina, Ganon and Dark Matter are on the list, nor am I surprised that they're the top 3.

Only from Fawful's Minion does this sort of genius occur!
@@Sevenizer1 Just gonna point out that in DP, Giratina is found hanging out on an ancient cemetery in the normal world.
Good god what have you done?! Calling demons! That’s awesome!
I wasn’t expecting this, but I love it all the same, and so does everyone else here.
Good work on this, big guy. 👍
I pretty much just started sonic unleashed a few months back and haven't picked it up since, seeing the final boss on this list was a surprise.
I knew Dante was going to be here
aw, as a soulcalibur fan, i really wanted to see nightmare on the list at some point. but glad to see you again, mr. minion
Honestly id like to just talk about the DrakCurse from Miitopia for a moment. *spoilery stuff look away if u think its a good idea*
The way its true form is not that of a natural-born evil, but moreso a person who truly suffered through being nothing short of FORGOTTEN resulted in a being that could corrupt basically ANYBODY into a god whos able to RIP OF AND ADD ON FACES is honestly genius for the game and is strikingly realistic to miis AND real-life.
Nah, the MII games are unreasonably good.

I personally would have put Mom from The Binding of Isaac on the list. I know she's not a demon, but so many of her forms are so demonic that I think it might as well count. Either her or Mega Satan. But I do agree with Dark Matter being at the top.
Demons have always been one of my favourites, so to see them celebrated like this makes me happy

I TOTALLY GOT HYPED FOR YAMI ON THIS LIST! ITS IMPACT IN THE GAME REALLY CLENCHED MY HEART

Finally, someone Else who acknowledges the significance of that eye
I need to add some demons to my list apparently
Fun fact: the word “demon” comes from the Greek word “daemon,” which really just refers to any supernatural entity.
HELL YEAH!!!
I've been waiting for this!
