This was a good video! I learned to use vale, sabes, and emm very well in Spain but o sea is something I missed entirely on conversations. I don't know how to classify these, but I would also be interested in phrases like eso es, más o menos, and casi casi, that I heard a lot from people in Spain. I don't know what to call these words but they are small things that are part of sounding natural.

Great video! I didn't know about the emm thing or "en plan". I like that you added video clips too.
Thanks, Paul! Yes, 'en plan' is a good one, mainly among younger speakers, I would say.
¡Qué video tan útil! ¡Me encantan los videos! En mi experiencia en España, "vale" es muy, pero que muy, usada. ¡Gracias por el video!
¡Gracias por tu comentario! Efectivamente, «vale» es muy común. Especialmente en Madrid.
Thank you for your lessons. They’re great!
Thank you for the comment! I'm glad they help you.
How long have you been learning Spanish? How is the process going?
@@KeySpanish I’ve been trying to learn Spanish approx a year now, but tbh, I wasn’t being very proactive about, but now I am!
Loved the videos with subtitles! The other one I hear, but I'm not sure if it's exactly a filler word is "pues".
Yes, 'pues' is very common and a filler word in many contexts!

Exactly, this little 'collocations' (a linguistic term) are very common and useful to learn. Great examples you shared.
Gracías, Alejandro. He oído utilizar "pues". ¿Es ésta una palabra que usted utilizaría?
Pues, la verdad es que sí. It's very common.
en plan - It's like
Exactly!
We use many of the same ones in English. Look, listen, like (drives me loca!) You know? "You know what I mean, like..." Right? Um, ah, uh.
Exactly!
"Bueno" is probably "well" in English.
