When South Africa came over in 2003, and scored 277 and 259 back to back, and SA crushed us at Lord's, I knew he was special. Very pugnacious, and tough as nails. I think he'd have liked a better record against Australia, and to win a world cup. However, he ended the captaincy of Hussain and Vaughan - so from that point of view, I didn't like him very much 😄 But he was one heck of a cricketer.
