Hello all,
Today i faced the same issue, The TV is switched on by remote but the other selections were not working. Then I connected the USB mouse and went to the remote settings and paired the remote with the tv. Then the issue was resolved.
TV was working on a usb mouse as well ( without remote).
I do not recommend purchasing a usb mouse, i have a mouse, so I tried a new way that's why I was sharing this comment.
