Will Allah Punish Me for Praying? [Bidah]
Imām Sa’īd b. Al-Musayyib - Allāh have mercy on him - once saw a man praying more than two rak’ah after sunrise the beginning of Fajr, making many bows and prostrations, and so he forbade him. The man said, “O Abu Muḥammad, is Allāh going to punish me for praying?” Sa’īd said, “No, but He will punish you for contradicting the Sunnah.”

Very true Akhi. Jitimayu they call it. I remember living in Diani and they loved doing it. Meeting with those from Tanzania to travel up and down the country to do it. Its when i learnt a bit more that I realised here in London they basically do the same thing. I remember a couple of years ago they came from Pakistan to our local masjid in Ukunda and the brothers just ignored them because they knew of them. I even had a discussion with the Imam and as to why he allowed them to stay in the masjid. I think he was just embarrassed but he's MashaAllah a very knowledgeable brother. However in the main jamiya masjid they like going out and many of those mosques in Mombasa, Malindi, Lamu and a few in Diani and quite a few more in Msambweni have graves in front of their Qibla. This is very unfortunate and may Allah guide them.

Brother in central asian countries muslim dont even know about the kalima, there were no mosque no madrassa no sunnat . Besides, what 'kalima' will Tablighi jama'at teach? TJ state the kalima means "there is no God but Allah". According to this (false) definition, the Mushrikoon of Quraysh are Muslims! Rather, the correct definition is "there is nothing worthy of worship (in truth) except Allah". Of course, if they stick to the correct meaning of the kalimah of Tawheed, then a large portion of their members and supporters would abandon them, so they refrain from speaking about Tawheed and its true meaning. Once again, the da'wah of TJ is setting the people up for destruction!
That’s true and this what we experienced Saudis from other muslims’ groups. We said don’t add innovations in our religion and stick with sunna and there is no one better than salfi to explains it. Brother, with due respect, Tablighi Jamaat is Hanafi Sunni oriented jamaat that is rooted in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. In these countries, Shia have always been competing with Ahlus Sunnah, so some of the scholars gathered and started missionary work by spreading the teachings of Quran and Sunnah among the Sunni population.

I was sent by my family to Tablighi Jamat for 4 months...i have been treated very well...and they r very good..
But after coming to home...i realize that their knowledge is limited...they don't encourage to read more...just do what they told u... I don't go to jamat anymore...

Mostly muslims know how to pray but how many of them pray? Just having knowledge doesn't mean practice. Sahabas said first we learnt iman then we learnt Quran. Thabligh is a place to practice our deen.

They never Spread the Word of Allah nor the Hadith.. They do Dawah to increase the size of their Fiqh..

My brother as you have talked about rikat in salah. Yah i agree with you that for the love of allah you cannot pray as much as you can, if praying sunnah is for example four rekat then we have to pray four rekat. Any addition to deen is bidaah. But praying for nafl prayer, there is not having any limit you can pray as much in the set of two rekat. So, tablig al jamaat is against such innovation. And also tablig al jamaat follows the principle of tawheew al uloohiya. Tablig al jamaat is not so called sufi who worship grave or some people. Tablig al jamaat against the graveworshiper and all sort of sirk. Because they knew that allah is the one.
After that tablig al jamaat is not bound to 40 days. Yah it is made by people so that they can give such time atleast. But it s not bound to 40 days, you can go out as much as you can for example 41, 42 or as many more days as you wish to.
And about book 'fazyle aamaal'. I dont know much about it, that it is fabricated ahadis or not. So, i keep myself aside from such debate.
Which Sahabi prayed rakats after fajr? Its not sunnah to pray between fajr and doha except whats known.

Not to go for or against Tablig. We should provide better alternatives than Tablig which will be able to work in grassroots level like Tablig. If we cannot and still opposed it who will take the void? I don't support them but I don't see that they are in anyway bringing/supporting/encouraging 'Terrorism'.
I think u realise its more they are taking part in an innovation, rather than spreading terrorism.
It's not so much about promoting terrorism but more about promiting bidah and shirk from their books, I think.

You give them a reminder. if they pray, they pray. if they dont, it's on them. You just do your part to remind them, that's it. You can't force them

"…but concerning the Tablīgh Jamā'ah, for those who will want to know more about their innovations and heresies, let him read the following books:
1- 'Waqafāt ma'a Jamā'atit-Tablīgh' ('Some Experiences with the Jamā‟āh Tablīgh') by Ash Shaykh Nazzār bn Ibrāhīm al-Jurbū' (may Allāh preserve him).
2- Al-Qawlul-Balīgh fī-Tahdhīr 'an Jamā'atit-Tablīgh (The Eloquent Statement of Warning against the Tablīgh Jamā'ah) by Shaykh Hammūd bn 'Abdillāh bn Hammūd at-Tuwayjirī.
3- 'Haqīqatud-Da'wati ila Llāhi Ta'ālā, wamakh 'Tass at bi-hi Jazīratul 'Arab' (The Essence of Call onto Allāh and the Peculiarities of the Arabian Peninsular) by Shaykh Sa'd bn 'Abdur-Rahmān Husayn.
4- 'Al Ajwabatush-Shadīdah 'alal As-ilatir Rashīdah' (The Intense Answers to Questions of Guidance) vols. 2 and 3 for the observations.
5- 'Adwā'un 'alā Tarīqid-Da'wati ila Llāh' (Luminaries to the Ways of Calling unto Allāh) by Ash-Shaykh Muhammad Ammān bn 'Alī al-Jāmī.
6- 'Tanbīhu 'Ulil Absār ilā Kamālid Deen, wa mā fil Bida'u Minal-Akhtā' (Calling the Wise to the Perfection of the Deen and the Errors in Innovation) by Ash-Shaykh Sa'd bn Sālih As-Sahīmī.
7- Let him - sincerely - ask the students of knowledge who had at one time joined the Tablīgh Jamā'ah with the intention of filling the vacuums and spreading books of 'aqīdah based on the methodology (Manhaj) in their midst. The leaders of the Jamā'ah met them with reproofand they were ultimately made to chose between staying by adhering to their methodology or leaving the methodology - without regrets (on their part)! They chose to part with them with a deep sense of regret and sorrow for a group carrying out activities in the name of Da’wah unto Allāh with utmost efforts, struggling, sacrifice, zealousness and long and tedious journeys. It is saddening however, that they repelled the Manhaj of the Salaf regarding the noble and greatly obligatory act of worship; Da’wah unto Allāh with wisdom, good admonition and argument in the best manners.
He further said: "As it appears to me, I divide the Jamā'ah (of Tablīgh) into four categories:
*First Category:* The Clear-cut Sufis. These are found among their leaders and those who take oath of allegiance from them.
*Second Category:* Those who were deceived by their outward postures which they manifest among scholars and students of knowledge.
*Third Category*: The common folk, who know little about Islām and their likes. They form the majority of the members of the group as far as I know.
*Fourth Category:* The strayed sons of the Muslims who were engrossed in the bars, inns and the likes. This Jamā'ah later won them over as they were recruited by the workers (of this Jamā'ah). Expectedly though, they believed that they received guidance at the hands of this Jamā'ah [and as such, they must be die-hard members].
My position concerning the First Category is that hope is lost about them except if Allāh wills (guidance for them), as for the other three groups, I opine that they must be admonished and the truth be explained to them.
Many of those in these (last three) categories, when the truth becomes clear to them and the crookedness of the Jamā'ah is unveiled to them, they break off and leave them. Although the manners of admonition may differ; scholars among their members should be admonished with juxtaposition of proofs and with a frank expression of truth.
As for the commoners among them, they should be placed in a position of patients who need be cured with wisdom and explanation of the sound creed…."
He further said, "Someone who once followed this Jamā'ah phoned me explaining his regrets over following them for such a long time without gaining any knowledge or sound creed from them."

This same effort of populating the masjids keeping them abaad and talking about allahs greatness giving dawah to Muslims and non muslims is not made up by molana ilyas ra. The prophet pbuh started this work.

@tazboy don’t sit in Talim unless u are going to correct the speaker and enlighten the group with tawhid. To sit there to learn is misguidance as there books of usool teaches falsehood based on falklore stories and khurooj. They recruit youngsters through talim becusee Lehman youngsters will only hear good stories and weak Ahadeeth and they won’t question it.
I think alot of people misquote these brothers. The numbers they provide is just for providing a structure. You dont have to do 40 days, you can do 1 day or 1 hour. They have a number in place so you have something to aim for.
Example how long does it take to graduate Medina university in order to be given ijaza? 5 years right?

Haris Malic What tablighis do, and going to gain knowledge are completely 2 different things. Ppl go to Medina university to study the deen. Tablighis go to give dawah without any ilm. In Islam you are supposed to get knowledge, and go to the scholars.
