Ingredients:
1 leg of lamb
3 onions
8 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon pepper
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried mint
2 tablespoon salt
3 eggs
1 cup of chopped parsley

Tomorrow I turn 51 years of age and this will be the meal I will prepare for friends. I grew up with the Armenian people in Glendale/Pasadena Calif. and cherish many fond memories, especially with my late friend Sarkis. I can tell many stories. My family is a sad story but I will enjoy the pleasure of maybe playing my Armenian Duduks for them and sharing an amazing meal. I worked with an Armenian Kid a few years back and his mother made these on the 4 of july. He brought me a big plate at work with the bread an all. Hands down the best kabobs ive ever eaten. Thanks for the recipe!

Hey mate just to let you know. If before you mince the meat you put the vegetables and herbs through the mincer the meat will drag it all out and you can get a very even mix of ready to go kebab meat.

I tried uzbek lulya kebab at a restaurant and at home. But at the restaurant its always soooo much more moist and juicy. Like juicy comes out of every bite. What makes it so juicy at a restaurant? Is it the extra fat or onions? Im trying to figure it out. Some people say its the baking soda that keeps the juices in
some use baking soda and water in the mix

timing is depends on the how hot is the fire you just have keep an eye on it and once the surface looks done inside will be cooked by the hot skewers

The Lule Kabob is one of the best Azerbaijani kabob but you make it differently, Arminian way. If you make it differently, you then name it differently!!!
People in middle east were eating kabobs long before turks arrived and especially long before azerbaijani as people were created by Stalin. Armenians, Arabs, Greeks, Iranians all making kabobs in different way.

This Lula kebab is Azerbaijani the Azerbaijani ruled the Caucasus and Iran for 800 years hence why you have taken so much of their culture.

yes finally a good recipe. people are so afraid to add garlic and spices lol. you can make it tasty without making it spicy. but i see recipes where it's like 2 cloves garlic and 2 pounds of meat lol. you can't even taste the garlic in that much meat. good recipe keep it up!
