Mary and Adam were such a beautiful couple. They really had such a pure love for each other. I can not bear to see the clips of the baby because we know what happens. They went through so much tragedy together and before they met but it never wavered their love for each other and both of them were very easy on the eyes. I like to think once they moved to NY life became easier for them and they lived a very long and happy life. It makes me sad that in real life there was no Adam
I watched an interview with Melissa Sue Anderson and despite her reputation as the prima donna on the prairie, she got along the best with Boomer. She said he had such a light and lovely sense of humor and should make sitcoms now that he is a director and producer. As far as Mary and Adams hard luck stories go, Anderson also said the screenwriters put her through one disappointment or calamity after the next because they thought she was such a good crier and wanted to evoke the pity factor to the hilt for the audience. However she believed the house fire episode was too much, so she asked Landon and the producers to provide an exit story for her and Adam, so he got his vision back (very implausible) lost interest in blind school and moved to NYC to practice law.

Mary and adam are a sweet couple. They endured a lot of tragedy with mary losing two babies. She lost one to a miscarriage and the other in a horrible fire. This is a beautiful tribute to mary and adam.

Too see melisa sue anderson and melisa gilbert working together you would never know they despised each other. They were wonderful actresses and seemed like real sisters.
