The marksman boost card is great for specialist, whenever you defeat an enemy with a headshot it resets your weapon heat... and with the A280-CFE there is recoil making headshots easier, it's my favorite card to have equipped
Thanks Potato, was useful. I will say one thing based on my own experience. The first 50 kills with the CFE are pretty miserable, low health, weak gun and no scope made this a pretty painful grind. However once you unlock the dual scope This gun is ALOT better (night and day). I went from getting 2-3 kills a round to getting double digits and I haven't yet unlocked burst fire. I still miss the the 1-shot headshot but I can make it work. So for people struggling with this gun, stick with it, it does get better.
My setup: A280 CFE w/ Burst and Ion Shot - Stealth: For obvious melee killing hero's and troopers and staying hidden. - Survivalist: Really good with the health buff and compliments the CQC/long gunfights of the weapon - Personal Shield: Compliments survivalist perfectly and can be used in more situations than Toughen up and can serve a similar purpose. If you have any doubts this is the best, I'll explain why it certainly is, just ask. :) But drop yours too! (NOTE: Ion Shot only removes 4 damage against troopers and adds a lot more to turrets, vehicles, and heavy shields, making heavies easier to kill.)
This is my favorite sniper in my second game with it I got 38 eliminations very cool weapon much diffrent playstyle from the other snipers with the high fire rate
If you can control the recoil with burst mode you can eassly snipe with it when i go long range its like a 2 burst to the head if all hit i use a maxed stealth a max survilist and a maxed marksmen or maxed shock grenade this class works out really good if with every sniper if your desent at sniping
Good card choice, but I would recommend bubble shield over the marksmen or shock grenade. They are good, but being a specialist is a lot easier with that bubble shield. Basically, you can use it the following ways: - As a toughen up replacement (to give time for survivalist to work) - To use when you need to retreat from battle - To use when planting charges on an objective - To use to run across an open area (Like Crait) - To use to provide cover to allies when crossing an open area or for when you need a wall to help push the objective. - To use before engaging a hero, as blaster fire from enemies can sometimes hurt your chances of melee killing that pesky hero - To use as a distraction (As I find lots of people get distracted with your shiny bubble and pick you out of a crowd.) - To use for basic repositioning. - To use as a buffer for closing the gap for standard melee kills - To use it for breaching a room (Like running past those door puppy guards and into a spot away from the door so their attention goes away from the door for enough time for your team to storm) - To use to save you from a grenade - To use when you need to block an officer/heavy turret Because of the many uses, and the fewer uses on the binoculars or trip mine, I argue this is the card that will help you the most overall. Like I said, great loadout nonetheless. Also, how did you like ion shot on it? The damage reduction doesn't hurt so much (like a loss of 4 damage a shot) for a greater bonus on turrets, shields (even heavy shields), vehicles (the LAAT gunships die in moments)....heck, most of what every other class struggles against sometimes.
When I play the Specialist, I use the personal shield, its pretty good if you want to escape, Infiltration, still like the EE4 ^^ and then my Last Star Card is the Stinger Pistol. Its Just so fucking OP against Heroes und combined with the IQA Sniper, you can finish enemies with it, (the IQA deals roundabout 130 Damage per Headshot), so its very good, if you want to finish an Officer or an Assault :D
Question. I don’t play bf2 often and was wondering. When you are unlocking a specialist weapon. Do you have to have all of those eliminations online or can you unlock them playing arcade or an off line mode?
The back story of all the guns is this: rebel technicians engineered the a280 soon after the clone wars, Frontline troopers found to gun to be a bit too big and bulky, so technicians engineered the a280c, a smaller version of the a280, letting it be much more controllable to shoot(notice how a280 in game has some pretty high recoil), then when the attack on endor came around, there was a much higher demand for snipers, so technicians having a short time to manufacture an entire new sniper rifle, took the old a280 and modified it with a bigger body that could generate larger bolts for long distances.
I only played specialist in the beta cause of this gun and the burst mod it was op as heck and you could play like an assault class
This thing is a kill assist machine lmao
Special Fex agreed
the a280-cfe is cassian's blaster from rogue one
Shiv Mahendra nah that's the a180 I'm pretty sure
Sam Nelson The A180 is Jyn's blaster.
Sam Nelson nope it's Cassian's. They should add the pistol
YESSSSSS!!! I just unlocked this today after completing the entire campaign with it and I LOVE IT!! This is the BEST GUN

mmarsh1972 thanks I just got it today, I used to get 21 eliminations and with the a280 cfe I only got 2 with a few assists :(
I really like that 50 elimination dual zoom.
I ❤️ the A-280CFE.

Ayyyyyy my favorite gun, the space AR15. I'm dead serious. It's a 22LR AR15 with props stuck to it.
If DICE/EA haven't done so already (probably didn't) they should allow the ion shots to be activated like in Battlefront 1.
They haven't I don't get how the ion shot works
I just wanted to say that I love your content man, I want you to keep it up!
Your blaster reviews have seriously helped me out
Also, I need people to play with on Xbox, so leave gamertags

Good job man, you're reviewing a blaster in _third person_ where it's almost impossible to see it.
A280 is amazing with assault! It’s an ee3 but a280!! I got deluxe btw
a280cfe w burst mode is amazing
Can you do a overview on the last gun for the assault class soon please
Imperial March the el16-HFE sucks
It’s a terrible gun until you get the attachments for it, then it becomes somewhat tolerable
I have it
Not the good imo
Imperial March not sure what everyone is talking about but that thing is ridiculously good. 3 shots heavys
Fuuzzzy yes but it's still not worth 400 kills
I only use ion shot for the look and because it makes it blue
Você joga muito garoto parabéns
stealth & marksman with your fav infiltration boost or stinger pistol
This video helped alot, Thanks !!
Love your channel and all the star slayers
Potato try to remember some of the basics of the CQC

Yo, thanks for this video, I really wanted to know if it was any good ;-)
Thanks for the help
Hey infinitepotatos i agree with your overview that the a280-cfe is cqc also can you do an overview on the nt 242 soon
Nice vid, helped a lot can u do the S-5 gun for officer next
So how do you unlock it?
The burst mode is now needed for 75 eliminations.
I like kill steak and scrambler for infiltration. Tho harden has its place.
DanteFerno Sadly harden infiltration doesnt make you that much harder to kill so it's not really worth it right now.
IVIadVillain true. I usually run scrambler.
Question. I don’t play bf2 often and was wondering. When you are unlocking a specialist weapon. Do you have to have all of those eliminations online or can you unlock them playing arcade or an off line mode?
David Sinclair You can only unlock them with online eliminations.
How do i use the burst shot

What if you could buy battle points
I got 150 kills with the a280 but the burst mode is still locked???
JUNG YANG you have to collect it from rewards
2:23 NO IT'S NOT! But i forgive you
Potatoes are going to only be playing battlefront 2 or are still going to be playing some battlefront 1
In the old one its called the A280-c and its a rifle
Drew Siebert no it's not, this is a different weapon. The a280c is also in this game
Drew Siebert the a280 is the initial weapon, the a280c and the CFE are similar rifles that are based off of the a280, all three are in this game.
Hey infinite potatoes what is your Xbox account name? I would like to friend you
Do arcade kills count towards the kills you need for attachements?
Hidde no
I can't get that weapon to do jack shit for me. But I do love the a280.
Your like the otaku but bf2
2nd yay
Lol I’m not good enough to get that gun
Clorox Bleach got it
