455 is heart attack waiting on the field. I was just in Colorado last week, and my kids hearts were racing at 14K when drove up to to Mount Blue Sky. My wife cousins almost fainted in Breckenridge Colorado. Now put this big body up there, heart has to work harder until he gets use to it. I was there for week and struggled at 9K feet doing anything physical and I weigh almost two hundred pounds less. I say take a year, get his weight in 315-340 range max and bring him. Huge concern for high elevation and heat with a guy this big.
🗣Exactly, 5430ft above sea 🌊 level… put more deep force and pressure on the lymphatic/ circulatory systems: Altitude sickness is caused by ascending too rapidly, which doesn't allow the body enough time to adjust to reduced oxygen and changes in air pressure. Symptoms include headache, vomiting, insomnia and reduced performance and coordination. Obesity appears to increase the risk for altitude sickness. 😮
The workouts at CU, last year help to discover a heart defect in the kicker/punter Jace Feely 😮the catapult vest they wear help save their/his life. It detects real time vital statistics of the body operating systems, as they are being monitored on screen by the training staff by the sec, and are evaluated before returning to practice, it’s like having a full physical everyday 😊 CU really cares about their players health, as others schools do too, we’re just allowed to see it
@r.awilson7402 see I didn't know that I was always wondering why there were wearing those vests that's why we got to get this young man down to Colorado
@r.awilson7402 Yep, the last time I was in Colorado besides last week I had an asthma attack in Estes Park. Last week I got prescription medication for high altitudes since we knew we were spending the bulk of the time in Breckenridge which is 9600 feet above sea level. I'm 280 with a resting heart rate of 66. I couldn't imagine carrying another 170 pounds of fat a mile plus above sea level. I wouldn't risk it, I lost 7 pounds last week with just my heart increasing to 98 beats per minute resting at 9K feet.
It's hard when you get that big. You don't have the strength and stamina necessary to train properly so you're stuck. There is so much pressure on every joint, they're susceptible to injuries. I hope that kid can find his way. He's got a tone of potential. He's just got to lose that first 50-75 lbs. Then he'll be heading down hill from there. When that happens, get out of his way.
Bro, It's not worth it because he's too big at 455lbs. The problem you have is that the man can't control his diet at this stage from high school... Which also is a indication of his work ethic...
There are reasons why he's stuck in the portal. The one thing that all football players must have is discipline. Looking at him, I question his discipline concerning his dietary habits. You don't get that big as a result of not eating. Unless, there's a medical reason that causes him to stack on the pounds,. I'd say that it falls squarely on him regarding his current weight and status.
@@Primetimebuffnation - No, why is it the CU Buffs responsibility to train him up? I have no problem if they decide to do so. At this stage in his life, and for health reasons alone, I would like to believe that his coaches and family members have expressed concerns about his weight. This is where motivation, and determination comes in, and seemingly they have not worked well in his case. He is steadily gaining weight, since playing in HS, and at TCU. He's not gaining muscle, he's gaining fat. He has to make the decision concerning his life and goals. Does he want to live a long productive healthy life, and pursue a career in football or not? The choices are right before him, hopefully, he'll make the right ones regardless of any football team and their decision concerning him. It is a lifestyle choice that he has to make.
