Less is more with perioral dermatitis! Gentle cleanser, no makeup on it and Bordeaux’s diaper rash cream healed mine up!! The zinc in the diaper cream is really good for it! Nothing too occlusive on it like heavy creams or aquaphor 💕
@@CaitlynNeier you’re so absolutely beautiful and gorgeous you are keep on doing what you’re doing. Keep on smiling every day you’re doing an amazing job of RUclips videos.
Hey! So my son was diagnosed with Perioral dermatitis and it was awful. It took months to clear up and we never found out what caused it, but we think it might have been his sunscreen anyway we used Weleda Calendula Cream (off amazon) worked so well especially for the dryness and redness.
Thanks for sharing. Yes I’m not sure what mine is from. Maybe a vitamin c I was using or too much retinol. Idk. I think my skin barrier freaked out. Ugh. It’s the worst!
I strongly recommend eatingreally clean, zero added sugars - including simple carbs until it heals up!! I have dealt with severe eczema, and yeast infections my whole life - and this type of skin rash happens to me when I have flare ups which usually happen when I’m on antibiotics because of the imbalance in my gut. Not saying it’s a cure all, and I’m sure you know already. But gut imbalance is directly related to skin issues :)
Two things! I would have your house checked for mold....I've seen people who have mold exposure start to get rashes like this.....and two you might also look into histamine intolerance....a girl I follow on tiktok had this same exact thing happen out of the blue to her and went through treatment after treatment to finally learn she developed a histamine intolerance and taking pepcid completely cleared it up. Could be totally unrelated but figured I'd mention it!
Use a zinc oxide diaper rash cream. I prefer cvs zinc oxide ointment or use any diaper rash cream. Use a damp cotton round with your cleanser to wash it off in the morning.
I'm dealing with perioral dermatitis myself atm🙈 Never had it before. Your dermatologist can prescribe metronidazole cream. Works really well. Mine didn't clear up without a prescription cream😆
I have the same thought about algorithms but as it applies to life. We are all humans but experience life SO differently. It’s kind of crazy to think about. Like so much of our life is determined by the environment we were born into and the body we were born as 😂 like my life would be a lot different if I was born as a different race/gender/in another country/to different parents/etc. just wilddddd
A dermatologist with help you. It happened to me is a long process. These 2 cream help me Metronidazole Topical Cream 0.75% and Tacrolimus Ointment 0.1%. Best of luck!
I love your robe. Where did you get it?

Oh my gosh YES these thoughts live rent free in my head! 🤣🤣
@ same… it quickly becomes a spiral where I’m questioning my whole life 😂

Violin md talks about skin rashes on youtube. You still look great so try not to let it knock your confidence
Kitty tait baker has a easy to follow sour dough recipe on youtube
You might be allergic to the antibiotics
You look different?
