- Hey guys, first of all thanks for watching. This is my first video in 2020.
In this video I'll show you on how to use your android phone as gaming steering wheel for computer racing games. The application that I'm using are the only one that still working till this year (2020). It use WiFi or Bluetooth connection. Sorry if my voice unclear in this video, please turn on the subtitle if you don't understand.

@@delayedcreator4783I used an old keyboard and mounted cardboard pedals to it and just configured the key to the game
Just place a pedal and direct it on the accelerating key on your keyboard and same for brakes depending on key @delayedcreator4783

Its not very precise. I mean, I tried it on both F1 2018 and 2019, but is impossible to get good lap times. I still go 2 seconds faster with the arrows of the keyboard. And another problem is that sometimes, while accelerating, the acceleration green thing disappears. And of course, in a game in which every single thousandth of a second is important, it is counterproductive. This app is not recommended.
Bro you are a problem solver!! I got annoyed because the I had created a mouse steering but I designed it at my comfort but the I was unable to find the best position for my mouse but suddenly youtube suggested me your video and I got my problem resolved.... Thanks a lot man❤❤

*Its super buggy if using a accelerometer only there is delay and if accelerometer with gyroscope it has even more delay

Is there a reasonable latency between phone movement and turn in the game. In the video it looks like there isnt any latency or you edit the video a litte to make it look like that?
there is approximately 60-80ms delay
if you do it trough usb, there is 0 latency using monect

In 4:38 you were accelerating your car without touching the phone, how you did that?
actually i did make a gas, brake and clutch pedals from a controller in my previous vid, so i just use the phone as steering controller.. you can watch the video here: ruclips.net/video/MlpqHHrOun8/видео.html

How did you stick your phone to the steering wheel ? I am planning to use double sided tape for firm grip. currently I have used rubber bands 😂
i just used double sided tape

When you say PC you mean windows os right? I run Linux and none of these kind of apps work on Linux.

Not sure, I haven't test it yet since I don't have the game... But if the game allow custom binding key, maybe it will work...

Hey, is there any way to map the Left and Right mouse click buttons to throttle and brake respectively? If there's any I would love to know. Since we cannot map it directly on Project Cars.
sorry I don't think project cars support mouse button as key input for controlling throttle and brake.

make the tutorial for the wheel, and also for the peddals. For peddals, make a clutch as well.
