Please tell "the kid" that your RUclips family love and appreciate the help he gave you this season.
Awwww, thanks for this sweet comment. We do appreciate all his help.
Love the video my man! That looks like a lot of work to do one of those things but you look like you got the process down pretty good. Keep up the good work!
Thank you! We have a helper that works a few days a week to help with the work load!
Wow that's alot of skulls for one day. There looking good. Thanks for the video!
Thank you for watching!
That’s ALOT of deer heads! Definitely not an easy job! Reed you do good work!
Thanks 👍
Tobin, what kind of jet burners are you using/recommend? I can find anything that looks similar to what you're using.
We use to get them at Academy, our local sporting good store. However, we haven't been able to find them in months. We keep looking though!
Love the set up! Killing it man! Looks cold as hell! Lol
This season the weather has been sooo cold!
Hello, New Subscriber Here, just found your channel, very very helpful…. I just starting skulling / Hobbie Guy, really enjoy learning and doing my own skulls…. I’m passing on your channel to my family and friends…. Thank You…
Thanks for the support.
Tobin what made you get into this business? Don’t know if I ever heard you tell us! It certainly is an art form. ❤️
Long story short, he had some friends who needed one done. He tried it, and over the next 8 years he continued to grow. I need to tell him to put a little blurb in the next taxidermy video of how it got started. :) Hope ya'll are doing well.
🌲🐻🦅🌲thank you for sharing your videos today🌲🦌🌲🌲🐰
Glad you like them!
Loved the video! Music was very depressing though, had to mute. Great technique!
Thanks for the feedback.
Those skulls look great!
Thank you!
Happy 😊 New Year and god bless love ❤️ the video
Happy new year!!
I modified my power washer to a pistol and do all my power washing on a metal table . It cut my power washing time in half and it's much more precise . Just wear a heavy leather glove when holding the head ... your own skin comes off really fast!!
😳😳 thanks for sharing.
What psi pressure washer do y’all use?
This is pretty interesting
Thanks!
Where did you find those metal pots that you used to boil the heads in? Also, do you use about 12 ounces of ivory soap per head in there?
Tractor Supply
1/2 bottle per pot
@@OurTopPinLife thanks man! How often do you change that out?
@@OurTopPinLife also, is that a 17 gallon basket?
@@huntbyfaith2392 I'm not sure. I'd have to look
Have seen this I think really great
Thanks!
Wow really cool 😎.
Thanks
Typically how much do you charge for you mounts no plaques I'm in Oklahoma and have always done my own and family and starting it as a side business as well. Just trying to get somewhat an idea of what people charge for deer and pigs that's the main here and I've done a few Bobcats coyotes etc. Thanks in advance
I charge $125 to our in house customers. Our plaques range from $45-$85.
We charge our wholesale customers about half price because of the volume they give us.
@@OurTopPinLife thank you greatly appreciated it. You guys order you plaques not make them in house correct? I have a background in carpentry and wood working but dont think I really want to make a ton of plaques
Yes. We order almost all plaques from the Taxidermist woodshop in Wichita Falls Tx. They are great quality! I used to make them but the juice isn't worth the squeeze!
Why is this the last time using zote soap. If it work good on the other deer?
It worked pretty good on 2 small deer in a small pot. On the deer in the bigger pot it caused them to have a LOT of grease and soap residue on the antlers that took a lot of effort to remove.
Gotcha. I used it on a couple skulls 2 days ago. Kinda liked it. It didn't get on the horns tho, maybe because I had them wrapped. I'll use again to see how it goes.
@@OurTopPinLife what size power washer you use
What psi
Is your power washer electric?
Yes
@@OurTopPinLife awesome! I think I'm going to get the same one. I've been using the gas powered washer from work and it's starting to get heavy loading and unloading all the time lol.
@@montanatreasurehunter9600 every few months turn it on its side and spray lime away in the water input.
Lime and calcium build up will cause it not to work.
What psi is your pressure washer?
2k
Are you picking his brains out of his nose????!!!!????? 🤔🙀
No it's the nasal tissue. We pull it all out to be sure it's clean behind it.
