    Tobin, what kind of jet burners are you using/recommend? I can find anything that looks similar to what you're using.

      Long story short, he had some friends who needed one done. He tried it, and over the next 8 years he continued to grow. I need to tell him to put a little blurb in the next taxidermy video of how it got started. :) Hope ya'll are doing well.

    I modified my power washer to a pistol and do all my power washing on a metal table . It cut my power washing time in half and it's much more precise . Just wear a heavy leather glove when holding the head ... your own skin comes off really fast!!

    Typically how much do you charge for you mounts no plaques I'm in Oklahoma and have always done my own and family and starting it as a side business as well. Just trying to get somewhat an idea of what people charge for deer and pigs that's the main here and I've done a few Bobcats coyotes etc. Thanks in advance

    • @OurTopPinLife
      @OurTopPinLife  3 года назад

      I charge $125 to our in house customers. Our plaques range from $45-$85.
      We charge our wholesale customers about half price because of the volume they give us.

      @@OurTopPinLife thank you greatly appreciated it. You guys order you plaques not make them in house correct? I have a background in carpentry and wood working but dont think I really want to make a ton of plaques

    • @OurTopPinLife
      @OurTopPinLife  3 года назад

      Yes. We order almost all plaques from the Taxidermist woodshop in Wichita Falls Tx. They are great quality! I used to make them but the juice isn't worth the squeeze!

    Why is this the last time using zote soap. If it work good on the other deer?

    • @OurTopPinLife
      @OurTopPinLife  3 года назад

      It worked pretty good on 2 small deer in a small pot. On the deer in the bigger pot it caused them to have a LOT of grease and soap residue on the antlers that took a lot of effort to remove.

    • @stormvet91
      @stormvet91 3 года назад

      Gotcha. I used it on a couple skulls 2 days ago. Kinda liked it. It didn't get on the horns tho, maybe because I had them wrapped. I'll use again to see how it goes.
