I have this and I can confirm how gentle it is! You could drop a glob of this into your eye and it still wouldn't sting. It is really soft and takes off regular makeup, but if you have waterproof mascara you will probably need something something more heavy-duty.

I use those rubbery/silicone-y things to help clean my makeup brushes as well! Helps build a gentle lather (depending on the brush cleanser you use) and helps get product out from between bristles. They're also much cheaper than brush cleaning mitts!! I love multi-purpose beauty products haha

Glossier is starting to become plastered all over everything I read on the Internet and I'm honestly curious: is it really that good or do they just have killer marketing skills?
Both... I have oily skin and live in Miami (mad humidity) and I have all of their products. They are really amazing but I live in a city where I'm sweating 24/7, so I don't need to moisturize and all of that. If I had a different skin type, I'd use the moisturizer more. The skin tint is amazing but the stellar product of this line is the balmdotcom... If you try anything, let the balm be it. It's outstanding. I just bought the cleanser, and I definitely understand your curiosity about their marketing. I feel like I need to have every product they launch!
+tenfortunecookies As someone who has tried most of the products they sell in their sample size, yeah, I can confirm it's mainly great marketing skills. I would steer clear of their skin tint and moisturizer if you have acne, perioral dermatitis, or just super sensitive skin.
+tenfortunecookies I go to college and i have to drop off my little cousins to school every morning (so i pretty much have 10 minutes to get ready every morning cause I want to stay in bed as long as possible). and I LOVE using the priming moisturizer and skin tint cause it's so easy to blend and provides just enough coverage for everyday school makeup. I don't even use concealer under my eyes. and i just put it everywhere and use my hands to pat it into my skin. so good. If you're the kind of person who doesn';t want/need a full, or even medium, coverage, then I recommend the skin tint. I have super dry skin and those two combined leave my skin so dewy and healthy looking!! Just for reference, I have extremely dry skin, kinda sensitive (like I can't ever wear Mac products and some Clinique break me out), and minor scarring from when I had pretty bad acne as a teenager.

I was really sucked in with the quirky packaging and the minimalist look, but I ordered the primer and it's nothing to write home about. It doesn't prolong makeup or minimize redness at all. Plus, it doesn't have a pleasant smell. I hear that the balm dot com is amazing but for me $12 plus shipping is too much for scented aquaphor.

I kinda really want to try this product, maybe even moreso than the other glossier products because I've found that cleansers with sulfates make my oily skin dry and mad. I don't know if I'll take the plunge because I totally work for a skincare company that has a cleanser that has a soap free cleanser that seems like it would be the same texture as it is a milky gel.

I never imagined myself liking a cleanser like that but turns out all the acne/oily skin cleansers just strip your skin of oil and make your face produce more oil which just leads to more acne!
Thanks so much! I just ordered it from Hautelook. Such a steal for $9. With my oily skin, I use matte everything from foundation, primer, powder, etc. to mattifying cleansers and moisturizers but I dont know if that does more harm than good.
Yay! I use matte everything too. I think the skincare is the most crucial thing. Totally thought I'd dislike our cleanser because I'm used to soapy lathering cleansers but after using for a few months I switched back to a neutrogena one and a shiseido one that I was sent to review and my skin felt terrible and broke out. With this one, I haven't broken out in a while and I used to have major acne- I didn't even break out when I had my period except for a tiny blemish- it was insane. Let me know what you think of it when you receive!
oh hiiiii! :) as soon as you said rose water smell i yelled "NO!" out loud. Haha. I'm allergic to rose or something - it always makes my face swell. I can't use natural products. :( I do love that silicone scrubber, though! It's in my travel bag

Well, almost the same, yours is long sleeve and white stripes on black, which is even better because I'd love a sister shirt to the one I'm wearing even if the stripes are inverted. :)
+Laura Wyn it is. the moisturizing mask isn't even that moisturizing and it breaks a lot of people (including myself) out, and mario badescu's rosewater spray is 100x better than glossier's. but i still kinda want this cleanser loool their packaging is so cute :(
+Tabby .S it's cause they really work for me and my skin has improved drastically since using their products on a daily basis. It may not be for everyone but it's been working wonders for me

tip from tyra banks..... never use powder blushes in the winter... because they further in drying out the skin but instead go for a cream blush :)

i feel like mario's rose water spray is way more artificial though, i agree on the moon mask though
As someone with super dry and sensitive skin, the moisturizing moon mask worked well for me, but not the priming moisturizer.
