I just experienced a chemical pregnancy, and this video was very encouraging. My pregnancy was concerning from the start, as I had brown spotting (but was testing positive) for a week before actually losing the pregnancy. God willing, next time will be successful ❤️
Thank you! I have one child and this was my second pregnancy. It ended after 3 days of positive test. This is the most useful information after a week of asking for answers. My plan is to try again right away. I pray for a miracle and after 9 months to hold my newborn!
This is so encouraging. I found this video minutes after realizing I was starting my period while thinking I was pregnant. This is my second chemical pregnancy. I hope to have a successful one soon
I just had one of these today. 4 weeks and 5 days. I have a 20 month old. I did not know these exsisted. Thank you for giving me some confidence for the next try. 🙏 I was heartbroken all day
After embrio transfer my wife's first result of BetaHcg was 30, the 2nd was 98 After 2 more days she started spotting. Then the spotting became almost like menstrual cicle. We did a third beta, it's 150. We transferred 2 embryos after 3 days, one with 8 cells. She is 40 years old. We don't know if the second embryo caused the chemical because it wasn't as good as the first one. I see it's difficult for her. Hope we try again.
I just found out my second frozen embryo transfer resulted in chemical a pregnancy. I'm so heartbroken 💔 😞 9 years of infertility and my arms are still empty. Don't know what God has planned for us.
Hi, Salome. We're so happy to hear this. We will also be releasing a video about chemical pregnancies soon, so you may find that helpful. If we can help in any way, let us know. We're here for you and wish you luck.
Thanks for your insights doctor. I am interested in understanding the implications of having a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks followed by a chemical pregnancy. There doesn't seem to be much information out there around this sequence of unfortunate occurrences.
Hi Doctor, thank you for your videos regarding chemical pregnancies. I’ve just found out that my hcg level has gone down to a 5. I had a blighted ovum last January, a chemical last July and again now. I’m feeling very defeated. Arg.
I just miscarried my first pregnancy last week. It would have been considered a chemical pregnancy since I was 5 weeks and 3 days along but I hadn’t had a ultrasound yet. I ended up in the ER with moderate bleeding and extreme lower abdominal pain. Like nothing I had ever experienced before. I was in so much pain I was barely conscious. I was told by the emerg doctor that the pain was likely from an ectopic pregnancy or some kind of ovarian cyst rupture. They never offered a ultrasound in emerg they ordered a out patient ultrasound to be scheduled one week later. Which blew my mind. I understand it’s almost impossible to know what happened when you miscarry so early like I did but I am extremely concerned about how painful it was and hope it’s not a issue moving forward.
I miscarried in week 6 my hormones just dropped I was bleeding do hard and I am still bleeding now and I have pain what I terrible feeling I feel like world lost beauty it's very painful I am sorry for your lose 😥 I am truly sorry for all woman who they experience it
I had a similar experience at 5 weeks. They say that chemical pregnancies end with a period that is similar to your normal cycle, but this bleeding was much heavier, a lot more cramping, and I was passing tissue. It was entirely different from a typical period.
Hi,can you make a video on non obstructive Azoospermia? What are chances of finding sperm with TESE? Is there any other options other than sperm extraction and IVF? Thanks for your time!
Thank you for this video I had a chemical pregnancy miscarriage..will it impact in future for next pregnancy..is there any treatment for this..it’s worrying me..please reply..
There’s no treatment for a chemical pregnancy’s because it’s not a condition you don’t need to worry about this unless you are continually having them. The doctor said basically that you a more likely to conceive the following month of trying again this is a positive thing 👍 worrying will not help you you need to relax friend 😊
It could be low progesterone it was in my case repeated chemical pregnancies took cyclogest progesterone at 9 dpo am now 14 weeks 2 days pregnant if your having you should look into it
Hi, I’ve had 11 chemical pregnancies, I had just turned 30 when I started trying. I just get treated like I’m making it up. I’ve tried cyclogest progesterone on 4 cycles which made no difference. Wondering where to turn!

@@akankshajain8090 I’m actually 8 months pregnant now. In the end, I went with a different donor (third person we tried), and it worked the first time! No clue at all why.
@@akankshajain8090 it was a sperm donor, my hunch is that my body was rejecting the first two donors for some reason. I didn’t do any tests for immunology, the NHS weren’t prepared to do them until I had proven 3 miscarriages in a row. Tests privately were coming to £5k and ivf was quoted at £30k. We were just about to embark on this and I got pregnant at the last minute.
No one I spoke to had any idea why it was happening and I was just pushed to do ivf. Most clinicians thought I was just crazy anyway and saying it because I wanted to be pregnant

Thank you doctor for the great video.
May i ask one question. Is there any method to do the gender selection without going through PGS? Thank you.
There used to be Microsort, but that was taken off the market years back. It had a 70% accuracy, iirc. PGS is all there is for now.

This is very possible specially those women w/ irregular periods.
