After purchasing it and fiddling, I'm happy to say that as a V user, this VST is when Emulation done right!! Throw your Spire to the trash and get this instead :) ... awesome job Adam, now I'm back on making trance without worrying how much Voice is left in my hardware lol
I have a Virus KB i'm very impressed by this Vst. It sounds very, very close to it's inspiration :) There are of course some differences. Mostly in lower end and saturation effects. Virus sounds slightly fuller and less agressive. But Viper is 95% there. If you care for good trance sounds and you are not really into hardware world i think its the way to go. Nice addition for Virus owners as well. Great work, Adam !

@Don't look, listen Modular yes vangaurd and z3ta are both good, vangaurd doesn't sound as clean and bright as viper tho probably one of the reasons it was discontinued.
When is the next update? It would be great if you could add the option of resizing the VST window, mine is taking pretty much all my screen, I can't see my DAW anymore...
@@adamszabomusic I have the 1.0.3 version of Viper, and I really don't have any option for corner resize, or Menu > Gui Size option. Are we talking about the same VST?
@@zeridium9129 You should have received my email in the newsletter I sent out about version 1.04 which has the GUI resize. Download the synth again from the link that you got in your receipt to get the latest version.
This is a touchy matter for the developer. Unless Flowstone gets full Mac support, which is quite unlikely, this instrument will stay PC-only, unfortunately.
I own both a TI and a virus C , and sometimes i prefer using a vst because of sync problems and sometimes the procedure saving , presets is a bummer .. a vst just pops out ready to go no bullshit..

This is an incredible accomplishment, sounds very close to my Virus TI. I hope we see new features being added over the years to this amazing synth.

To many people use spire now all dance music sounds the same.

You can already resize the GUI. Either drag the corner, or in the Menu > Gui Size option
