This was the very first time I ever heard Josh sing or heard of him - I literally had to stop what I was doing and go see the tv to see who, what, where all this was happening and just stood enchanted and frozen in place by this amazing and wonderful and beautiful man and his 'band'. The AMAs and some of the other awards shows, too - have gotten so tacky - what a breath of fresh air to actually witness talent and class for a change at these things. Had to Google his name and find out more about him and honestly, it changed my life.

Then we got tix to see him again after this performance. His songs and melodies are so beautiful and sweeping, and the orchestra with him was just as wonderful. Lucia, the violinist, played Cashmere and the crowd went crazy for her, as well. Gosh, that was quite a while ago! February Song is also a favorite.
I seriously love this performance and every time I come back and watch this, I can't help but love him all over again! Josh is amazing and continues to not only be the awesome person he is, but also enjoys the music he makes. I can listen to him sing and talk about his music every minute of every day of my life.
God is he a talented young man whose soul shines through when he sings. God bless Josh Groban, I bought my mom and I tickets to see him this October. My mom and I had a rough time together growing up. She was physically and emotionally abusive to me my entire childhood and young adult years, and she became an alcoholic and then later she and my dad both cleaned up, gained sobriety and changed their ways. We {they and my younger sis and bro} have all healed our family and we are close and love each other very much. They made mistakes borne of their own tragic childhoods, and my brother, sister and I love them and don't even need to forgive because God forgives. We just love them. They love their grandsons, one who is my son, dearly. Anyway, I wanted to treat my mom to show her how much I love her and am proud of who she has become so I surprised her with Josh tickets, who she loves. I know it will be a special night for us. It has been a long journey together as a family but I am lucky we are healed. My mom and I have never had a super closer or emotional connection so I thought taking her to see Josh would be special. I'm fortunate. Even she and my dad made it through and are still married, healthy and happily in love.

WOW, spectacular as usual! There was something different about this performance. It was, in my opinion, more emotional/intense at 3:33. If you stop at 3:54, you can see in his face it took a lot out of him. But again, SPECTACULAR as usual!
Well, I guess you actually noticed that they cut the whole middle part from the song for the sake of time. If you mean his vocals, then I agree. I did see ONE live performance of this song where he completely avoided the high note at the end of the song, he kept it an octave lower. Still sounded amazing, but I LOVE the ending, sounds like he is giving his all. I would rather hear him crack or go flat or something personally. He is too professional for that though.
I watched this live and was stunned that the drug addled fools in the audience didn't have the sense to be on their feet. They were too busy worshipping the devil. This was a stunning performance.
I think the audience was waiting for the final musical notes as you can see they all came in what felt like "late". Josh is even visibly, I don't think the word is upset, but taken aback by what felt like a lack of response. I am also a lip reader and if you are curious what he is saying as he turns his head he says "yep....there it is....thank you" Also, this is one of my favs from Josh.

Big fan of his as a singer/sogwriter/pianist and as a person and I always thought that maybe he was a bit tired BC he didn't sound as nice as he always is (as a person, he is always smilling) but maybe that's why! He deserved a way more than he got from the audience that night!.

I have seen this video over and over again and I have noticed two things : the first one is that he is very intensely emotional singing it , almost pushing himself to the limit and the second thing is that when he finishes singing and sort of pushes a lock of his hair back he looks like he has to put himself together for some odd reason. I have seen so many of his videos, his voice is so awesome, and yet I had never seen this kind of reaction from him.

Josh has said many times he was so riddled with insecurity and anxiety during the first 5 or so years of his professional career.
I think he got desapointed and even annoyed because the audience didn't respond.
