1) to start of you should set frames similar, from that point you can fine tune to personal preferences 2) in Holland there are guidelines for pupils, at that age it would be 90mm, later on 100mm and so on. On track older skaters maximum is 110mm, marathon 125mm.
When I trail skate and concentrate on my stride and glide, I notice that my glide and stride is shorter on my left leg. Any tips for that. Could it be my left foot is more to the outside and I need to adjust frame angke (to the inside at the front I guess)?
Hello, Difficult to say without seeing you skate. There could be more than one reason for that; such as a stronger dominant right leg, different ankle strength or pronations and such. Maybe other recent vids of mine can help you a bit with your setup. You'll might begin with setting front and back neutral on both skates and from that on changing it till you've found your personal best setup. Remember: even the best can have different glides&stride sides and it's not always necessary to set both skates exactly the same... Greetings,
@@GoFoggy Hi, thanks for your kind reply. I clearly have a stronger dominant right leg. I feel it when skiing, skating for sure. Currently both my skates are set up as centered. I will experiment with my left skate a little bit as soon as the belgian weather allows for it..
@@MrPymxOkay, it's a bit of an try and error but hope you'll find it and let me know. Myself always had an dominant left leg, but due to mishap that replaced to the right leg. Same here with the weather, lots of rain lately 😌
No I don't in speedskates. Insoles can be quite comfy, can also be used as kind of filling up to right shoesize, but the downside is loss of feeling with frames/wheels in my opinion

No I don't in speedskates. Insoles can be quite comfy, can also be used as kind of filling up to right shoesize, but the downside is loss of feeling with frames/wheels in my opinion
Is that real carbon?
No, R2 and R4/R6 by Powerslide are not made with any carbon, its a print. Some of my other skates are though (see my other vids)
