    Could you make a guide for adjusting the placement of the frames? Most mounting options provide adjustment to the inside for example which I presume is most noticeable with large wheel setups.

    Lol... I might be the only one using a 5x 80 NOT for downhill... I love how fast and stable it is, like "skiing" on asphalt XD For long distance I use a 295mm 3x125, super fast but still maneuverable... For urban speed skating, comuting and even for longer sessions I like my flat 4x90, most versatile setup imo, I use it almost every day, it fits my foot length, is fast and after it gets a natural rocker from use of wheels it feels nimble but stable at speed (my fave). Most fun I got is the endless 90 though, just not an everyday setup but that might be because my skills can't keep up with the frames possibilities yet...

    Those skates with the IFC system seem awesome. I live in a hilly and foresty area where roads can turn into gravel and with some interesting up and downhill slopes, and like to go fast for longer distances with my current Rollerblade Twister Edge setup (sometimes on 4x80, sometimes 3x110). I’d love to switch frames quickly when asphalt turns into gravel or when I’m inline skating to a lake for ice skating. I don’t really do aggressive skate and would like to continue to skate comfortably at an average of 20 km/h or up to 55 km/h in downhill. Do you think I should get the Razors skates with the IFC system? I thought maybe I could rivet a 45 degree strap to them, and use liners with high cuffs and laces for added stability. Any thoughts?

    Is the Razor Swift you use supportive enough for big wheels or wizard skating? Is this fast change mounting strong enough?
    edit: Since you asked, my favourite setup is the Aeon 72 for all around skating, which is actually the lowest skate setup currently possible ;) But I also like the Kizer Flux in 3x100, and have a Rollerblade Edge 125, but that frame you alse featured in the video. btw my 2 cents here, that the 125mm Rollerblade frame is not a true speed frame, because it is not really long, it is under 12". It is more easier to control than a proper speed frame as it is almost as long as the Kizer Flux.

    What i realĺy dont understand is why a Trinity 4x90 is not lower to the ground than a 165mm 4x90 ?!
    I had the chance to inspect the Next Black White 90 and found out that they could go lower with the boot like it's the case with Next 3x110 or 3x125 but for what ever reason despite using Trinity they failed to get wheels and boot as close together as it would be possible.

      @@Thisissoul I waited four years for these 4x90mm Trinity frames to find out that I could have stayed at 165mm in terms of stand height.
      That was a bummer.
      Good to hear you've already raised this issue on Powerslide.
      Imo the 4x90 setup is the secret star among the setups for Urban Skaters and should go as low as possible to show its full potential.
      Hope PS will improve the frame.

    For a beginner that needs to pickup a first pair of skates but ultimately would like to learn some aggressive skating..is there any downside to an aggressive style boot with a non-aggressive frame? So that I could swap out the frame once I am confident enough to try aggressive skating without replacing the boot

    • @Thisissoul
      @Thisissoul  3 года назад +2

      the soulplate adds some weight, and the mounting strength of the aggressive skates is less strong to handle the torque of the frame height.

      depends on how you like to skate. if you like toe and heel rolls, then you have a good frame. if you dont do any of those then for sure 4x90 flat or 4x100 with rocker would suit you better. an entire video about frame lengths will follow soon!

    After watching your video about bearings i think you should follow up with a video about wheels or to be more specific about urethan.
    There is something fishy going on in the wheel industry with quality, marketing, pricing and labeling.
    I think there are very similar wheels on the market with different prices coming from the same factory.
    I dont even believe that there are different kinds of urethan at least not one urethan that is double or triple worth the price of another urethan like we can see it in the shops. What should be the secret chemical incredient in the milligramm range in the urethan part of a wheel that is so cost intensive to charge triple prices?
    Yes there are different rims but that does not explain or justify the whole fishy suspicious thing.

    • @Tiamat013
      @Tiamat013 3 года назад +1

      True. Also with wheel colours. The more colours the crappier the wheels? That is what i have heard.

    • @Thisissoul
      @Thisissoul  3 года назад +1

      we will for sure do one about urethane.
      Thedifference in price lays with the sophistication of the pouring machine. if a wheel has 3 ingredients, only 3 tubes need to be cleaned between each batch. high end urethane wheels like Undercover and Rollerblade Hydrogen have more then 5 ingredients and alot more sophisticated machines to make them.
