Ms Accely what a beautiful son and thank you for him able to share ❤️. I'm a single parent struggling and 🙈 n interested about 2 year now looking at youtube but yet then I see this flipping houses, I am doing this, other want to sale programs.
Mrs. Accely, Not only did you grace us with one son.. you had identical twins. -W’s twin is successful in the credit restoration business in his own right. They are both high energy. Well done Mademoiselle.Tres, tres bien. 🙏🏽👏🏼🙏🏽 🇺🇸🇿🇦
i met him and he is exactly this way in person.. anything you want to know he will let it flow for hours! only person in the world i could listen to for hours literally
Exactly! I would have thought after multiple big failures that he would have hung it up and just punched the clock, but he learned and tried another route. He's found the successful path and has gone at it full force!
This episode is genuinely one of the best ever posted He is a representation of every new investors worst fear and then overcoming it. This is a real man
Many failures and being scammed more than once or the federal investigation with his phone calls being tapped were all signs to me that he would have stopped. The determination he has is what people talk about!
Yes! So inspiring. The man made mistake after mistake, but he finally figured what would work for him. Such an awesome success story. I don't get how or why anyone would down vote this video.
I've listened/watched every episode up until this point. I can't think of a better guest that articulated their story. Man! Talk about grit! No quit! He was gonna die tryin!
I don't normally comment on BP podcasts however this was THE BEST EPISODE ON BP BY FAR! ABSOLUTE BANGER! Massive shout out to Welby. I stand and salute Mr Welby Accely and wish him nothing but greatness.
Even Brandon is super tapped in to Welby’s story, he’s not as hype as usual. This is super dope, great story. I think we all were consumed by the heart and message behind this. Thank you all for this. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ah the NYC/Brooklyn accent and the coup at the end was Hollis Queens and RUN-DMC! Incredible episode! I love his humbleness, humility and at the same time...Everything in between..."And I love listening to my loud music" - and the ability to look himself in the mirror and say "What am I doing wrong?" - I need to invest in ME!
If he isn’t already, he needs to teach. He’s a good motivational and practical teacher. He refused to stop at “3 feet of gold”. He should be brought back at the beginning of every new year. Bravo 👏🏽
hands down the episode for any new investor to listen to. And 100% appreciate David and Brandon for letting Welby do the talking and storytelling without interrupting or adding commentary..
I haven’t seen Welby in at least a year. Thank you for having him on. -This guy is FIRE!! High Octane!! I didn’t know his story as he has graciously shared with us. I had subscribed to his channel. Lost the contact. Will subscribe again. After this episode. His twin brother has an incredible ( ethical) Credit Repair business. 🇺🇸🇿🇦
Have to respect his tenacity: getting knocked down a few times and picking himself up again and again. It's a real inspiration to those of us who have or are going through tough times investing. Most podcasts/webinars seem to hold up the individuals that coast through their journey beginning in real estate but not enough of these "counted out" type stories. Love it and keep it coming!
I love how bigger pockets is starting to bring more African Americans on the podcast after voicing our concerns, thank you for listening to us bigger pockets.
@@timeme03 that makes two us then. I know he's Haitian. This is the #1 most realistic podcast I've ever listened to on Bigger Pockets. Cudos to Brandon on getting this guy on. He speaks from the heart and down to earth, more so than other folk whom most already had money from family heirs or other easier means...
Welby you rock! Not only were you kicked down several times, but you got up and came back stronger each time. You are amazing. Life snowballs when you give back with your talent. You'll be forever blessed.
A true honest business man! Everyone could definitely learn something from this man who so willing shares his knowledge for everyone to succeed! Something rare you don’t see in many people today.
28:17 "There's no such thing as the perfect scenario... You trying to wait for all the stars to line up, it's never going to happen... I just knew that if I follow the process, I don't care what market you drop me on this planet, I'm gonna make money."
I'm only 20 minutes in and I'm so inspired. I love that Welby kept going! This is a true testament of grit, tenacity and learning the right lessons! He referred to himself briefly as a failure at one point and that's not true at all. Failure is when you stop trying and success is continuing to try even in the face of adversity! BET ON YOURSELF
Incredible! How anyone could not like this video is beyond me. He is such a fighter, great story teller and genuine inspiration. Big lesson: Bet on yourself, teach and enable others to help you and themselves. No shortcuts or quick fixes. American dreaming.
As a fellow real estate investor as well, thanks for sharing your real estate experiences on several levels. Its good to know that the lessons learned over time were actually preparing you for much success on the road ahead. Thanks again.
So this is more the type of stories I want to see because this feels more real and honest. Your past guest focus on the success stories and not the difficult journey to get there
I'm coming back from a covid infection, March 2020 - long hauler. I'm in month 14 and just starting to become functional again. I make a good living in high tech. But this last year scared me. I started to wonder, "Will I ever be able to work again?" If not, I would be 100% dependent on other people, and only enough money in savings to last a couple of years. Yes, that's better than many. But at the age of 52 it's a scary thought that I've never truly faced other than in an abstract way. Laying in bed for 20 hours a day, barely enough energy to bathe myself let alone work, my body having crazy post-covid symptoms, and day after day thinking about suicide. (That feeling of doom is part of the long hauler symptoms. Before covid I was a very upbeat, optimistic guy.) Being so debilitated and not able to work made the reality of not being financially independent truly concrete. Real. Urgent. I've thought about real estate for 30 years. Kept saying I was going to do it. Read, read, read. No action. Always drawn to it, but I made good enough money to make it easy to procrastinate. Now, as I get stronger, I realize that my excuses for not buying real estate were all about fear and thinking that there would always be a tomorrow when I could get started. Thank you @Welby. Your story almost brought me to tears. I hope to be as brave as you have been.
I pray you are fully healed Marco. Like Nike said "Just do it"! I'm guilty of analysis paralysis as well...Get a good realtor from a reputable brokerage and one that understands investing. Use bigger pockets for your schooling and you have it...😊
This was an EXCELLENT episode. I've been through some of the same things that he has on his RE journey and almost gave up on it. I'm glad to hear that he stuck it out and is doing well. Thanks for sharing...
Welby is so real that I can feel his enthusiasm all up in here. What an amazing man! Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. God bless you and your business plans.
Big ups to this brotha! Each time he detailed a failed business experience, my heart sank...but alas small success! And then introspection shows him what he needs to learn. I was so happy to hear how he never let foolish pride be hinder him moving forward in following his dreams.....Oh how I love a good come back story! I could listen to him for hours, I've got a gazillion comeback stories myself....All hail to us underdogs!!! ❤☀️🌙🌟❤
You made my day buddy... I was driving a long distance and this make be laugh 😂 crazy. Best podcast I ever listened. Great history, great guy. Loved it
I really appreciate his story. I could feel the authenticity, the passion, the struggle and triumph. There was no editing, no second guessing in the way he spoke, no care for fancy vocabulary that we wouldn’t understand, just facts.
Excellent video! Very informative 👏 👌 and HUGE SHOUT OUT to a true warrior- Haitian brother, Welby Accely. I am PROUD of you for not giving up on your dreams. Bob Marley said, "Put your dreams into reality. Wake up and live." Thanks Big Pockets for sharing my Haitian brother story. Jah Live.
Great show today. Welby talked about being taken advantage of because he was new and didn't know enough to not be taken advantage of at the beginning. This is a great example of why connecting with other investors or having a coach or mentor at the beginning can help people from being taken advantage of by others.
What I love the most about my son he never gave up 🙏🙏 God bless you.
Ms Accely we all know that tenacity and spirit came from having a mom like you. Congratulations.

He’s such a great story teller! They didn’t have to pull anything out of him. He brought his story to life with his words.
Yes He did 👏🏾🙏🏾
I noticed that too. I felt like they just had to sit back and let this man's knowledge flow! He's the embodiment of just about everything they preach!

Oh my goodness YES!
Amazing!
Thank you Welby. I needed to hear this. “I needed to stop betting on everyone else and start betting on myself.”
That line was definitely gold!
If I were EVER have a tattoo that is what the tattoo would say.... “I needed to stop betting on everyone else and start betting on myself.”
