    Thanks for posting Taylor. Just wonder if I should practice the paradiddle before I can execute the double stroke roll at faster tempos. Learning a lot from your videos.

    Hi Taylor, for the 2nd Variation are you thinking in terms of the Moeller Triplets - variation of? Cheers

      Not necessarily, I’m thinking of controlling the stick height of the down stroke before playing the diddle.

    Thanks for the video, very interesting. Why should one specifically work with the accents there though?

      This is the most common way paradiddles are played, and allows for different dynamic contrast with the accent being there. It also allows you to orchestrate it around the kit

    Not quite correct, but it might help to think of the part two as a drag

      Yes! It is a drag, just inverted
