I just love how you always allow your cats to be curious. I've started showing my own cats more things like new smells or new places because I was inspired by you. Gives them all the stimuli and I'm sure a happier life. :)
Same! I let my cats sniff ingredients as I’m cooking and they love hanging out in the kitchen to watch me cook as a result.
I also let them sniff the things that they won't eat (not bread because my cats are bread monsters). I also give them home raised insects as treats, it's very stimulating for them to play with something that moves before eating it
Their complete lack of fear shows how well situated and socialized they are. It’s wonderful to see!
@@ZaDussault have you watched the video of that cat that's obsessed with bread and steals all the bread? I think it was on The Dodo.
@@XSemperIdem5 yeah, my cat is not agressive about it, but she'll check our grocery bags for bread amd eat it with the packaging if she can

Just love that you're giving your fish a big tank! So many people think Siamese fighting fish are fine in a small bowl.
Ikr ! I have a 5 gallon which isn’t that big but some people think it’s gifantic
It is so depressing to see them in the tiny cups and ridiculous vases people stick them in to use them as living decor.
Especially in pets stores in America “buy this fish bowl!” They find it normal
I own a 50 gallon tank. A lot of fish need a lot of extra room, so it’s good that people really think into it and buy a proper tank with proper equipment. ❤️
Haku "helping" Jun is very much like my cat, Mia. Whenever I wanna cook or exercise, she will get in between my legs and sat down. It's her way of lending me her paw.
Mia is such a pretty name, she sounds like a nice cat to have
I adore how well you treat Thunder. His current home is perfectly fine, but you want to give all the animals in your care the best of the best, and I really have to commend that. Especially since here in the West, that's... Not as common, for fish. Thunder sure is lucky to have you!

Seeing Jun add the wooden square to the inside of the top of the tank made me EXTRA impressed, he's really thinking ahead! And then he added the squishy mat stuff and I was even MORE impressed! :D Thank you for the positive energy you put into your videos. Me and many, many others very much appreciate it!
Ok I watch all juns videos with subtitles in case he switches a word for Japanese and the fact that poki registered as boogie is absolutely killing me right now

Hey, Jun! I love this DIY tank idea! Makes me wanna do something similar one day lol. Quick question if it's okay, could you and Rachel maybe make a video about how your cats cope with earthquakes? We don't have any where I am so I'm curious if they get freaked out by them or if y'all have a protocol in place to keep them safe. Please give them pets for me!

I really love the idea of putting it where you walk past daily. Not only does it add to the décor but it'll give the fish some more entertainment as well.
Plus as a project, even now it looks really good.
You made it look so easy to just construct a custom piece of furniture, but I know it took a lot of hard work! Very cool design and always good to think about earthquakes.

as a fellow cat dad, i can totally relate to my cat getting as much in the way of me doing stuff as he possibly can. One time when i changed the bedsheets, he was absolutly hellbent of laying in the plastic tub i used to collect laundry, so i just piled the laundry on top of him and took him downstairs with me
Cats are the best. The true stars of the show. Whenever I’m at my desk, one of my cats launches himself at me for a cuddle. Very inconvenient when I’m working, but how can I deny him?! 😂They’re never where they should be, but we can’t tell them no and ruin their day.

Very nice cabinet build 👍 just so you know, the product you used to make the wood darker, in English it is called stain not paint. The difference is that paint is opaque and would hide the wood grain whereas stain just darkens the wood while keeping the grain visible
I like that upstairs loft area, will be cozy in winter...have seen people build fish tunnels so they can swim between rooms...maybe set up a tablet to let the beta fish look at different 8 hour videos, kelp forest etc.

Really cool that you give your cats ingredients to sniff, have them around when cooking or building and let them explore i am sure it contributes to the happy life they have now. They are so incredibly curious, seeing them explore the tank was really adorable.

Jun, I would like to give you a tip for the screws. When you make a hole and you use a drill bit, for example number 5, then you take another number 8 and make a hole right on top. In this way, when inserting the screw, its head will be hidden inside the hole.

nagi's wheel makes me so happy! I wish I knew which one it was, Mochi would love a wheel but all the ones I could find are much louder and don't match the home aesthetic

I know tropical fish don't like to be moved, so you have to be careful. It stresses them. Plus I know that tropical fish have had heart attacks from just tapping on the glass. That is as far as my knowledge goes.

omg Thunder looks so happy and vibrant! The tank he's in already looks super awesome, like a 5 or 10 gallon tank (not sure what that is in liters!) which is excellent, but that's so awesome you're getting him an even bigger home! Such a happy boy
On the fish stand below the fish tank you should put some of the bamboo paper you used for that other project. You could also put a shelf down there to hold your fish supplys. Just some ideas. Looks good!
My betta fish Sparkles enjoys his 20 gallon. One day I will have a fish tank as pretty as Jun’s was last time. I look forward to seeing the new one!

I love seeing you crouch to check the level because I do the same thing, I know you can see it just as well from the top but checking it from the side is just better
