I have had nothing but trouble with this very expensive fireplace. The paint began peeling after only 6 weeks of use. Then the gap between the glass panels was too wide. So silicone was highly visible, very ugly. I will say the logs are spectacular life-like and the the fire is very pretty. And it throws a TON of heat. Getting assistance from Dimplex (the distributor) has been like pulling teeth. It’s now been 6 Mo and the issues are still not resolved. If I had to do it over again, I would not purchase this fireplace. It pains me to say because it burns beautifully.
