I'm a native Spanish speaker who watch these videos to learn English because he speaks so clearly. En cuanto al español, sus clases son muy buenas. Wish there were a channel like this to learn English.
Thanks Paul, much appreciated. BTW, after each of your excellent videos you sign off with a reminder to hit the 'like' and many times I reach for my remote to do so, but before I can navigate to the button, the video has disappeared from my tv screen ! So maybe leave a few extra seconds at the end/ remind us mid-video? Just a suggestion ! Thanks again!
Use “cuanto” when you want to know the quantity or amount of something directly where a specific measure or number is anticipated. Use “lo” with an adjective in a more abstract sense to express the degree or extent of a characteristic. Example: “¿Cuanto cuesto?” Is asking the price. “Lo caro que es” isn’t asking for the price but is more commenting on the high cost or quality of the item.
Can u pls make another explain the r sound I am very confused when to roll it or not because sometimes it’s silent and other times it’s slightly rolled when it’s suppposed to be a d sound. Thank you for making this Chanel it’s very useful🥰
Would “no importa que tan inteligente que seas” also work or it has to be “lo”? I feel like 90% of Spanish is figuring out all the uses and mixing of de, lo, se, que, por 😂
¿Cuándo conociste a mi jefa?
So think of it as "Le lo di a Juan". If you are curious why there is a le obj pronoun when you specify a person, "Juan", check Qroo Pauls video on "The Redundant LE in Spanish"
This video is very timely. Last week I was texting with a friend in Spanish and was very confusing about "lo" when it came up in a sentence. haha Thanks for this helplful video!

Good suggestion. :)
I seriously just hit it at the beginning of every video, but then again I'm sort of a nerd, so...lol.
De acuerdo
Hola, excelente video como siempre! Sin embargo, tengo una pregunta. ¿Cuándo se usa "cuanto" si "lo" también puede significar "how much"?

Is there a way to find the order of your videos from when you first started until now?
really nice short video
Would “no importa que tan inteligente que seas” also work or it has to be “lo”?

I think it's ”No importa lo inteligente que seas" @paros320
The construction is this:
No importa lo+[adjetivo]+que+[subjuntivo]
No importa que tan inteligente seas. It will be ok 👌 👌

Thank you so much
Cuando conociste a mi jefe? lo conocí ayer. Porque no es "Le" conocí ayer.
Le conocí would only be in select parts of Spain.
@@QrooSpanish I was up to write the same. I'm a non-leísta Spaniard and that "le" still bothers me.

Ar fheabhas !
Paul, I 've learnt so much from your Spanish videos, how do I go about buying you coffee or sending you a little gift as a token of my appreciation?
I'm getting angry with Spanish. Why is it se lo di a Juan? Why the se?!!!!
se = le/les, because "le lo di" sounds weird lol. So think of it as "Le lo di a Juan". If you are curious why there is a le obj pronoun when you specify a person, "Juan", check Qroo Pauls video on "The Redundant LE in Spanish"
The rule: "Le" and "les" before lo, los, la and las become "se".
@@H3Music The "se" is Juan, it is the "to him" 🙂
@@karinaab175 But you already specify Juan in the sentence. That's why I am confused.
❤great lesson
Thank you! 😃

Thanks. I'm just starting to learn useful sentences, and mastering the pronouns (lo, la, le, se). I'm still working out when to use bueno vs bien.
One i use a lot is "lo más rápido posible " i love it
keep it up Qroo, good stuff
Thank you
