Syr Tom loves to talk almost as much as he loves to sing. Always there is a level of honesty and some would say, earnestness. That is very appealing in interview after interview and it still is as he is on a stage. In addition, this man is a first-rate raconteur. He makes one just want him to keep talking and tell us what he wants to. The Welsh accent and the rolling "r's" add to the appeal. When he is with a host such as this one, one he likes and who likes him, it is even better.
Very nice interview. The host was respectful and Tom was his usual charming self. The music was great too of course. I too like the slower version of Sex Bomb.
I thought the interview was excellent!! ‘Black Betty’ was one of the few good songs on that terrible album with Wyclef Jean. I much prefer the arrangement of ‘Sex Bomb’ Tom does nowadays as opposed to how he did it on ‘Reload,’ and this show. That suit Tom wore was beautifully cut!
@@Djm8520 I agree, one of my favorite interviews from tv for Tom! Good origin and historic references to highlight Sir’s “phenomenal” enduring career. But, light and fun to showcase his playful personality and realness. Yes, once again, these suits and jackets that Tom has been wearing these past couple of decades are absolutely on point! 🕺🏻💫
@@UncleNedward Yeah, Ned, once he got away from those frilly puffy shirts (thank you Seinfeld!) and those oddly-striped tuxes, his suits were clearly bespoke and tasteful.
@@Djm8520 And, it became an interesting point in his long career. He was an icon of fashion in the 60’s. Then, an icon of unfashion (if you will, lol) from 74-85. And, now our elder statesman of taste, chic and fashion once again in his silver years.
Sir Tom my favorite since the beginning. You’re great still great.love to you & thanks for all the wonderful songs❤❤CP

Black Betty 🎉🎉❤❤ I love hearing Tom Jones sing my name 😍✨️🎶🎵 Betty 💖 🌹
A new interview I don´t know till today. Thanks.
Love the performances and interview! Tom always tells it like it is in his interviews and I really love that about him!
@@HercGem I agree, Rhonda! I think Tom’s openness and tell it like it is candor are huge parts of his charm.

@@UncleNedward His current ‘relaxed’ look totally suits the vibe of his shows-as does the bands’.
