Phantom…don’t feel bad. Me and my homie went in half on that EXACT SAME tire changer and balancer. 😂 I think it was Mayflower or something like that…lol. Needless to say, PayPal eventually refunded us the money. Fukn sucks how much tire shops charge to just mount and balance a wheel/tire combo. I worked for NTB back when I was in my teens. One guy could replace tires on a suburban in less than thirty minutes, not rushing. That was from the time we pulled the truck in to the time we were backing it out.

I can only imagine the crap Erin gets now. “Come on, a man can do it”. After everything.
I used to work at a Goodyear tire shop. We had a rule that if a balancer called for more than 3oz of weight; we would spint the tire on the wheel 180 degrees. This usually solved the issue with needing a shit load of weights.
That why new tires have dots on them for lining up the valve stem
Yup, yup, I recall that too... our rep said, that both the wheel and the tire are going to have a "heavy point" so if the machine is calling for a lot of weight to balance it, those points may be aligned w each other. So turning the tire 180 may un-align them and therefore call for less weight. And Yes, Erin was funny!!!

Had a k5 with 9" of lift and 38.5 x 16 swampers. Truck drove and rode unbelievable. One of the most comfortable trucks I ever owned.
Love seeing Shawn and Erin in the shop. Just happy to be wrenching on stuff and enjoying the others company. Good video.

Those boys need to stand clear when filling a tire to seat the bead. I've seen a guys hand (or what was left of it) after a tire blew off the bead when filling it. Lucky for him the guy in the next pit was a renowned hand surgeon and was able to save it.
Now I understand why Big Country loves Erin she's a sweetheart I never could tell if she was nice or mean because she was always quiet in the videos I should have believed BC because I've never heard anything come outta his mouth that wasn't the truth!

I don’t know if yall read all these comments. But I used to mount tires. Sometimes with big tires we would rotate them on rim 180 degrees if the balance was out that bad. Sometimes it made a difference. Luv u guys.

Being an old guy myself I also have a hard time seeing at night. My eye sight isn't terrible but slightly off. I got a pair of prescription glasses with anti glare lenses and that has really helped with night driving. That paired with those fancy headlights and she ought to see much better.
I do this to every car or truck I've owned cause of not being able to see at night. I have a Chevy extreme right now.

I have the twin to that K5 Blazer. Mine is an 1984 and I painted it all white now but it used to be blue and white just like yours. It's a great machine been in my family for 35 plus years now.

Add cross over steering to the blazer. Takes most of the shake out of them. A 2wd steering box and crossover kit from offroad design should fix it right up

You guys talking about that steering stabilizer, Check the frame around the steering box! A buddy of mine lowered his truck five and six inches. Go through a parking lot and get the death wobble at 20 mile an hour... Stop by my house. I'm watching it, why he's turning it and you can see the frame flex and it was cracked!!!

In high school me and four of my buddies all had k5 blazers with 33’s and 4” lifts. We all had no money so we put 4” lift blocks in the front and back . We knew your not supposed to put blocks in the front but hell they worked for years ! 😝lol

That’s a nice k5, but yah even I upgraded the headlights on my 68 Chrysler because you couldn’t see crap at night. It made a huge difference, and I actually like driving it at night now.

The Led headlights from ebay are pretty solid extremely bright I've been running them 2 years now no issues think I paid $80
