how a researcher declares 'i love animals' when her entire research is done on involuntary, caged animals, connected to machines, use for experiments, not to say that probably all the brain structure of the experienced animals was provided by cutting those animals? I do not mean it is not necessary, to cut and experience animals, but a little humble, regarding the love for animals, should be grateful.
People eat much more conscious factory farmed animals constantly. Just means she doesn't enjoy knowing the mice are aware and tries to minimize pain etc. Mice really aren't nice animals they will tear apart a sickly cage mate. Rats are chill and pigs are probably smarter than dogs.

Don`t worry, they will not use your brain for this stuff.
