The “gifts” these companies are sending me are collaborations not sponsorships so I will be able to give you my honest opinion about the products they send me. I really love doing collaborations with various art suppliers. It is such a lovely way for us to support and promote each other. Incredibly beneficial for both parties, valuable advertising for the companies and art supplies for content creators to demo for their viewers. Cooperative relationships at their best. 😊 🎨🖌️💜
A survey goes out And the question is asked what makes you happy? Most people respond, nice weather rainbows and unicorns the sun shining. The artist replies when I’m at home in my art room, or when I’m watching my favourite RUclipsr, and they open a drawer, and it’s full of Watercolor’s, or watching people swatch, watercolours and literally watching paint dry, who’s with me?
PRETTY PALETTES! I have those tins too, I LOVE them so much! My hubby and I have quiet holidays without family too. I confess it can be a bit lonely, but also nice and quiet too...
I’m so glad that you’ve had a good experience with those little tins. I think they’re so pretty and I love that they take up such a small footprint. I totally hear you about how lonely it can be on holidays, we get those feelings too, but the older I get the more I do appreciate not being a part of the hustle bustle. Thanks for watching and commenting! 🎨🖌️💜🙏
Thanks, it was a huge project but it will be awesome to have them all organized by brand and in their own palettes. I did end up finishing the M. Graham palette and will post that video on Patreon on Monday. But my back and neck hurt so bad after that I decided to hold off on pouring the the Daniel Smith pallet for a little bit lol 😆 🎨🖌️💜
Pretty pallets and I couldn’t imagine having that many paints. I’m also very limited on space. What a huge project. Your new tins are really lovely. Loved seeing Alana ad usual. Excited for Dec videos.
I agree, it is a crazy amount of paint! When I first started learning watercolor years ago, I made the mistake that a lot of newbies make in thinking that I needed ALL the colors 😆 Filling these pallets is a huge project. It’s been bothering my neck and back so I’m just taking it slowly, but I did finally get the M. Graham one finished yesterday 🙌🎨🖌️
Pretty palettes! What a really relaxing video. I so love your new palettes. They are very pretty. As for your Thanksgiving, it looked like a very sweet one. Your hubby looked so happy with you, and, I loved his glasses and hat! And, your doggies looked relaxed. Sometimes it is nice just to have your very closest people with you on holidays, as, it makes it more intimate. It is not about how many people you have around you on holidays, it is more about sharing these special times with the ones you care about most, even if it means it is just the two of you. Your little family is a very special one. I am so happy you have each other. You make a beautiful family. I wish all of you a very happy December, and, have a beautiful happy birthday. Wishing you all my best. Emily
Very wise words Emily! That photo of us was from the summer and I absolutely love it. Wishing you and yours, peaceful, healthy, and happy holidays ahead.
Pretty palettes. I have one of those tin palettes too. I love it. It’s the Monet one. Hope you had a great thanksgiving and hope your pup is feeling a lot better. I’m from NYC. ❤
They really are pretty palettes and so compact. My brother lives in Ct and brings his family to New York City every Christmas to see the decorations. 🎨🖌️💜
Pretty palettes. I have a rescue dog & she is quirky. I think they appreciate a good home. Alanna looks great in her green sweater. I'm looking forward to your Christmas videos.
I enjoyed your video and look forward to the next ones.also, your 1962 bd and now you are 62 reminds me that when my father turned 50, I turned 25, and when I turned 50 my daughter turned 25. I'm sometimes intrigued by the play of numbers . Happy birthday!!
Pretty Palettes!... and they really are, how fun! Another lovely video, Linda. Happy Thanksgiving to you from Australia 🇦🇺. I cant wait to see how these palettes turn out. Your Birthday extravaganza sounds so fun! Its have to wait until i was 86 to do that haha. I wonder if i'll still be painting 🤔. I hope so 😅
We just had a storm, I think we got just shy of 12 inches, and it is snowing again this morning. Definitely will have a winter wonderland for Christmas! Hope you are having a wonderful Birthday day month! 🎂🎊🎁
So many beautiful colors! When you counted 41 DS paints for 40 pans, my brain automatically said „you need to get 39 more colors“. Oh boy! Miss Alana is beautiful! Please give her some extra turkey!
Happy birthday 🎉! Last year was 3-23-23 for my birthday. The entire month was 3-23. I thought it was so funny😂it will never happen again…so I get it. Enjoy your day🥰
Thank you so much! It is so cool that your birthday was 3-23-23! I love it when number synchronicities like that happen. I remember that when I turned 50 in 2012 the date on my birthday was 12/12/12 🤩💜
Pretty Palettes! Belated Happy Thanksgiving! Looking forward to what is coming in December! Working on creating a new art nest because my chair is broken!Take care! xoxo 🥰
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Anne!! That is so cool. I hope you had an awesome birthday. If you want to you can private message me your address through my Patreon or my Instagram account and I’ll send you a card. 💜😘🎉🎂🥳
I used glue on the bottoms of the pans, didn’t care for that. I switched to double stick tape. The tape worked better. Now I skip the magnets and I used sticky tac. I tend to move more pans from tin to tin. It’s fun.
Those almost empty ones would be great for the newer micro pallets. And as a beginner I’d love to use them just to swatch some new colors for educational purposes.
Happy Birthday and happy Thanksgiving ❤️😍🙏👍🎂🇨🇦 blessings to all my American friends and happy Thanksgiving , I am not sure if it's over now but better late than never ❤️ 👍 🙏 🇨🇦
I use my Art Toolkit pans in my Art Toolkit Palettes and I change them around quite frequently so I wouldn’t want to glue magnets on the bottom of those. Also, I wanted to try out the deeper half pans that came with these little tins. I’m super excited to start using this in my “Art Nest” 🪹 🎨🖌️
