This is a very personal question but I've noticed your pinky fingers are contracted. I've recently started to develop Dupuytren's Contracture in one of my hands. I'm wondering if this is what you have? Thanks for the tip on the beauty blenders. I'm guessing a little vinegar wouldn't hurt the brushes either, right?
I don't have the silicone hot pads but I do have one of those silicone pads you use on hard to open jar lids. It worked great and I couldn't believe how loaded up some of my brushes and my beauty sponge were! Now we are off to buy new makeup, instead of new brushes and sponges, with all the Black Friday sales :) Maybe you could do a video on how to tell when it's time to replace brushes and sponges? Thanks!
As long as you're washing them frequently, good quality brushes and sponges should last quite a while. If you notice that any of your brushes is shedding, or if a brush/sponge is discolored or has any sort of unpleasant smell, it’s time to replace it!
I wash my brushes and blenders after every use-always.
