Just love Suzie Baker’s method of thinking shape and color. Doing Big brush, big shape, and general TO small brush, small shape, then specific, helps to keep from painting ‘things’. I can’t wait to try this because the knack of achieving a painterly result has eluded me. This looks like the keyhole I need to pass thru to get there. So helpful. It’s one thing to say, “just see shapes and the color of those shapes,” but it is so much more teachable when you see it actually demonstrated! Macpherson says tiles and mosaics -same thing, but also better when he demonstrates. Thanks for allowing us access to these great artists and teachers Eric!

It is one thing to say, “just paint shapes in the right color,” than to see it demonstrated as Susie did for us. Macpherson says, “tiles or mosaics,” which is the same thing but also he demonstrates it as Susie has done for us and we see how it works. Thank you, Eric, for giving us access to these great artists and teachers! Thank you Susie I have your video and will watch it again and again!
