This video actually got me into reaction channels as a whole, I loved seeing people's reactions to the beat drop, then I started appreciating other people's interpretations and now I may be an addict. The line about looking at yourself in the mirror is my daily affirmation. It's helped me through a lot of difficult days.

Hey Rosalie, I think I saw something about the people walking around in the white are his hope thoughts. They are sprinkled around randomly because his hope thoughts are slim compared to all the others dressed in black are his negative thoughts/depression. Which is where it leads to the video Hope him wearing white and at the end of the song he is conquering over the blackness of life. That's just an idea from something I saw and can't remember where. I have been viewing all your NF reactions in order. With this one, it occurred to me that until Hope (which you have previously reacted to), the black balloons have always been helium-filled and tethered by string to him or his cart. But in hope, the black balloons are on the floor, they are not connected to NF or his cart, and while they are in a room of his mansion, he can visit them and most importantly leave them in the room. To me that suggests that his childhood traumas, while they still exist, can be confined as needed and do not consistently encumber him.

"If Life Is A Highway, Then The Soul Is Just A Car" - Meatloaf... so when it comes to NF.. the cart to me is the body of life.... at the beginning of the video he is dragging through life (pulling the cart)... at the end.. he was in control of the cart (pushing it instead).. thats a switch in the mentality of control in someones life.. the way i see it.. super super happy with you cranking this journey out! I personally think of the cage from outcast as a physical manifestation of the room he doesn’t let anyone into in ‘Mansion’ as he keeps himself locked away from the outside world, and in ‘Outcast’ you see he’s finally let people in even though it’s just fans and some tracks insinuate that he can express himself in his music but not in his own personal life. So the fans seem to be the first people he ever let in his safe room. The cage is in the background in this song which makes it seem like he’s trying to move away from his cage, but has something of a ‘back-up-cage’ in his cart. There’s always so much to unpack from NF, thank you for the great reactions and giving us more ways to think about the message!

The cage from outcast that he locks himself into to protect himself from the outside is the shopping cart (just a mobile version of it). He pushes the shopping cart where he goes because he's afraid to leave it behind in case he feels the need to crawl back into the cage for his own protection and feel safe.
In the song "why" It starts and ends with a soft "too many faces"..... And here he's referencing on stage he looks out at the faces and that's when he starts to get anxious, thoughts are dangerous, drowns in self hatred.
The shopping cart represents his mind (Mansion). You’ll see the cage in the beginning of the music video. He left the cage from Outcast since he got the keys. This opened up his search. The balloons represent his burdens that follow him and he Carrie’s with him (on his cart). The white clothes represent Hope as you already know.
Remember black dress NF is fear walking in his mind, he is pushing his portable cage(cart) with burdens. So fear is walking around the mind while good thoughts are around (guys in white). And even they have burdens. So at end, good thoughts are trying to convert fear to being good..
