Are your channels on DSTV still not Showing after you've made payment?
You have nothing to worry about because in this video guide I will show you HOW to reset your DStv smartcard after renewing your subscription.
Well, from time-to-time DSTV users face certain errors displayed on their screens.
And as the case may be, the most popular error among subscribers of this giant Satellite TV provider is that payment confirmation sometimes propagates slowly.
When this happens, you will only be allowed to watch channel 100 while other channels will fail to display
When this happens simply reset your DSTV Decoder with any of the following 3 simple methods
Note: Before carrying on with any of the methods below make sure that...
Your decoder is powered on,
The smartcard is intact, and
It is kept on channel 154.
Method 1.
Reset your DStv decoder using SMS
After making payment and you wish to reset your decoder using SMS, ensure that you have at least #10 airtime on your sim card
Send “RESET followed with Smartcard number” to 30333 if you are in Nigeria.
For example, if your smartcard number is 0123456789, then on your SMS menu type “RESET 0123456789” to 30333
"Without the quote"
Although the SMS format is the same for other African countries, the number to which you will send the message to vary from country to country.
For instance, Ghanaians are supposed to send that same message to 1779.

Method 2:
Reset DStv decoder online using "My DSTV App"

Reset your Decoder using USSD
This method works well with MTN
Dial *288*2# and select 1 for DStv
Enter your smartcard number to confirm your account
Select the option that says fix errors
Select the option for “E16 error” and confirm your operation.
Then wait for a few minutes and the channels on the package you subscribed should begin to play.

Error E17 arises when there is an issue with your smartcard. This pairing conflict can be resolved by making sure that the card is properly inserted and that it is the proper card.
Then, reset the service by logging into your account and selecting "reset decoder." Alternatively, you can send a short message reading "E17 + smartcard number" to the DSTV short code of the African country you are now.
