At the time of filming this video, I wasn't aware of any cultural ties to the usage of white sage, which I am now aware of. It's becoming more widely known that we should stay away from using that, and while I can't go back and take that out of the video, I can tell you tons of other ways to cleanse stones here! 1. Moonlight- You can either lay them outside, on the grass, or on a windowsill. If you don't get direct moonlight, don't worry. 2. Submerge the stone in salt - Completely submerge the stones in the salt and allow it to sit for a few hours, pat the salt off. 3. Submerge the stone in rice - Same as salt, submerge the stone in rice and allow it to sit for a few hours, pat the rice off. 4. Sound - Collect your stones into one area, and if you have a singing bowl or a tuning fork, play the sound anywhere from 5-10 minutes. f you don't have either of those, don't worry. RUclips has many many many sound healing videos. Search gong baths, singing bowls, binaural beats, meditation music, etc. 5. Visualization - I feel like this may be intimidating to some of you, but you can trust yourself. Sit with your stone or stones and get grounded. Maybe listen to some meditation music for a few minutes to help you do that. Imagine your hands are filling with energy. Like white radiant light. Envision the light swirling around inside of the stones, swishing around all the impurities, and flushing them out of the stone. 6. Water - Research the stone's reaction to water, cause some can ruin a stone. Generally, if it ends in -ite, don't put it in water. Run it under a faucet, in a stream, river, rainwater, bird bath, whatever you want. You can't go wrong...unless the stone shouldn't go in the water lol 7. Incense - light incense and hold the stone over the smoke. 8. Selenite- the easiest in my opinion! Have a piece of selenite near your stone, it cleanses all of the stones around it.

Keep in mind one of the main contributors to the endangerment of white sage is buying from unauthentic distributors (mass production or overharvesting), so keep an eye out for "ethical" sage distributors. My culture also uses white sage and i buy from locals/family members in my area. Your mother probably knows a good place to buy from (: P.s. To anyone else reading this, keep in mind that even though a distributor sells "ethically", it is still a closed practise and should only be bought from these vendors if you are of the culture. ***Remember that Palo Santo wood is also a closed practise and is endangered/overharvested!***
How much time would you require to visualize cleanse and selenite cleanse? Also do you need to wash the rice and replace it afterwards every month????? Can I have a bowl of rice for specifically cleansing my gems?

Some crystals do not react well to being left out in sunlight or put in water. Putting Selenatite in water would destroy it. Always a good idea to research your crystals before cleansing. That's why I prefer to use incense. Or Sage. Pretty much can't hurt a stone that way
i have incense! i ust bought crystals and i didnt knwo i had to cleanse them, can you please provide information on it so i can do it properly? lol cause i kinda lowkey walk around the house waving my incense around like it does something xD
@@lucyg3476 just Lady and Sons. Maybe close your eyes and sent her and balance yourself for a little bit until you trying to get in the zone. If your cleansing multiple Stones take the incense stick, light it and just let the smoke waft over the stones and visualize the smokes removing any negativity and bad energy from the crystals
@@lucyg3476 another awesome way to cleanse them. In a pinch, you can also hold a stone on the palm of your hand and blow the negativity away. I don't do that often but it'll work in an emergency

at around 3:40, if youre gonna put your stones/crystals in water PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE first make sure its safe to put them in water. some crystals get corroded by water and some become toxic when wet

Free tip: You can find quartz variants easily on mountainous hikes. If you’d like you can set an intention to find a crystal while on a hike, stay aware and your manifestation will likely come true. It’s really good for the environment to find one local + not mined. Bonus is it’s already cleansed and has never been used before. You can also cleanse your crystals with herbs beyond sage. See what you can forage! It might be easy for you to find rosemary or lavender where you live, collect a bunch full and let it dry for a while. Other cleansers: sound, visualisation, water (Make sure if you put a crystal in water that it’s water resistant), moonlight, sunlight, grounded upon earth.

I’ve been collecting crystals since I was 7 and only got them because I felt attracted to them and thought they were rly pretty. I stopped when I was 10 because Everyone called me weird for liking “rocks”. I’ve found recently and sorted them I felt a different energy around me and got really interested. I have a bunch of crystals that was given to me by an old neighbor (she passed away right after. God rest her soul.) and then I bought a few crystal bracelets not knowing there's was more to these crystals than just names and cool meanings. 😰 I've always been attracted to crystals but never did any research as to why and what does it mean for me. After doing some research I went out and bought a selenite bowl to use as a crystal cleansing tool. I wiped my stones with a soft cloth, placed them in the bowl and set it on my dresser next to my bed or my window when there's a full moon. I felt so much lighter after doing that. Crystals are truly amazing.
I had no idea that amethyst meant that. I used to have horrible nightmares where I would wake up crying, shaking, and sweating. But out of no where my dad said he found a huge amethyst stone around a lake with a bunch of other rocks and felt like he should give it to me. And after that, I would have nightmares every now and then but they stopped for the most part. I’m now very thankful I have that crystal from a few years ago.
Today I went to a crystal shop near me and to be honest I didn't know too much about crystals so I chose the crystals I was drawn to. I chose 3 crystals that were pretty different for me just to find out they were all sodalite crystals. I found it pretty interesting and I immediately thought that those crystals must be really important for my life. I look them up a little bit and God I really needed them. I just want to say, since i was little and knew nothing about crystals i have always felt a connection with amethyst, and i felt more happy and self loving around amethyst, and i have always thought about properties of a crystal, and i never was interested in collecting them for healing, or protection but now I've thought and found more information, i want to start opening my spiritual thoughts, feelings and emotions more, and all this bc i found out how crystals help life and thats thanks to you
for some reason im really attracted to clear quartz and the mini yellow ones. along with the koi fish looking ones and rose. even thought what i need in the moment amethyst provides i dont feel as attached to it as those ones.
i believe the stone you referred to as tourmaline was actually obsidian! it has very similar properties, tourmaline is just a different structure where it has parallel, elongated lines typically & is in the silicate mineral group where obsidian is a volcanic glass! ! just thought i’d share my knowledge. lovin your videos!

I’ve been doing work with crystals for about two years. My sisters have been getting crystals for *years* and they decided to take me to a metaphysical shop (plot twist bad idea I’m obsessed). The first crystals I got were Clear Quarts (She’s a twin!), Selenite, and a little Ruby. I got Ruby because it is my birthstone and it’s really pretty. My sisters have been very helpful in the process of getting crystals and such. I just watch these videos to get a better understanding of ways to do things! Even if you think you understand everything you can about crystals, there will most likely be more you can learn. I’m gonna go meditate to open my third eye chakra!
I’ve never known that much about crystals, however I’ve been collecting them for years. I’ve never specifically cleansed my crystals and rocks besides running a few under water now and then or just lighting incense sticks in my room. My favorite crystal ever that I was immediately drawn to has such a wonderful back story and always makes me happy. I have a huge desert rose that I’ve had since 2019 when I visited England. I brought her back with me all the way to America and she didn’t break a bit. I always have felt a connection with her. Some of my favorite crystals are those that have back stories that I’ll always remember.Two others are some old crystals my mom has had since she was fifteen and just recently passed them down to me. My mom was not spiritual about crystals at all, however they remind me of her.

the store i went was like 1 hour away but i really didnt care, they took amazing care for the crystals, rose quarts in the dark red jasper in the light it was amazing! i cleansed all my crystals and even the place i hold them, the stuff i use for them, and the spell ingrediants! im so happy i spent that 60 euros on my crystals
Oh, and my answer to your video: Labradorite. When I first entered the shop I was pulled to a pile of dark, muddly looking stones and when I picked one up, the light fell on it and I was in aaaawe. Couldnt part with it, its sitting next to my laptop right at the moment too. Other stones I was pulled towards: citrin (both the heated Amethyst, both the original rare one. I managed to buy I little drop sized one from Kenya), other than that: aquamarine, celestite, morganite, and my two new darlings: Ametrine and Charoit.
Labradorite is my favorite!! I thought the same when I first saw them, dark colorless looking stones... until you move them in certain directions and see those beautiful flashes of color in the most beautiful designs! Ugh! They’re the best 😍😍
I've always collected like milky quartz agate and even clear quartz from roadsides clean them up polish them and just recently bought A four and a half inch lapis lazuli ankh and wear it every day
Just lost my first crystal, a carnelian that I wore on my neck. I feel bad for not caring for it properly. It broke into 3 pieces. It inspired me to start taking this seriously, rather than just wearing a stone and taking its benefits
I first went to a metaphysical shop with an ex on holiday but I was so scared to touch anything because I didn’t know what each stone meant and what it could do. Ive just got into this kind of stuff and i got my citrine crystal out of the box under my bed and its strange that when you said citrine is good for finding your future and meaning and i now i know what i want to do in life
Last fall i got into a car accident and got hit on my left side while i was driving. The experience was terrifying but i couldn't remember what exactly had happened until weeks later when i was getting physical therapy and chiropractic adjustments. But the day of the accident i had gone to town for brunch with friends and got hit on the way home. I decided to wear a crystal necklace that i had recently found again after losing as a kid. It was pink quartz. The string It was hung on was tied in three knots so what happened once i got home from the accident was weird. Basically the string untied itself sometime after I got home and while i was talking to my Mom about what I remembered, it slipped off my neck and fell onto the kitchen floor. I was told once that crystals can get "overwhelmed" by energy and need to recharge and will find ways of telling you this. I'm not sure if it's true or not but this video made me think about it when you were talking about setting intentions. If anyone has insight about rose quartz or what happened i would love to hear! Maybe the string was just old and untied itself because it hadn't been used since i was a kid, idk. Either way, i definitely needed protecting during the accident and I got it.

I've watched a few videos on crystals. Whenever a certain crystal is in the video i am so drawn to it. I didn't know the crystal but it turns out its the green fluorite. Every video where it randomly pops up (like with yours around 2:15) i can't take my eyes off from it. Easy way to cleanse crystal is to put it in rice for day. Never heard of rice killing a crystal so works for all crystals as far as I know.

You can find quartz variants easily on mountainous hikes. If you’d like you can set an intention to find a crystal while on a hike, stay aware and your manifestation will likely come true. It’s really good for the environment to find one local + not mined. Bonus is it’s already cleansed and has never been used before.
You can also cleanse your crystals with herbs beyond sage. See what you can forage! It might be easy for you to find rosemary or lavender where you live, collect a bunch full and let it dry for a while.
Other cleansers: sound, visualisation, water (Make sure if you put a crystal in water that it’s water resistant), moonlight, sunlight, grounded upon earth.
i went to the metaphysical shop by my house for the first time today! all of the stones i was drawn to were described as great for relieving anxiety and stress. i was diagnosed for anxiety two years ago and i think its super cool that all the stones i was drawn to are good for helping me!!

I’ve been collecting crystals since I was 7 and only got them because I felt attracted to them and thought they were rly pretty. I stopped when I was 10 because Everyone called me weird for liking “rocks”. I’ve found recently and sorted them I felt a different energy around me and got really interested. Then I started to search up more crystals to grow my collection then I realized there’s more to come them just pretty rocks. So now I’m researching a bunch about it and this really helped!!! I have a bunch of crystals that was given to me by an old neighbor (she passed away right after. God rest her soul.) and then I bought a few crystal bracelets not knowing there's was more to these crystals than just names and cool meanings. 😰 I've always been attracted to crystals but never did any research as to why and what does it mean for me. After doing some research I went out and bought a selenite bowl to use as a crystal cleansing tool. I wiped my stones with a soft cloth, placed them in the bowl and set it on my dresser next to my bed or my window when there's a full moon. I felt so much lighter after doing that. Crystals are truly amazing.
I had no idea that amethyst meant that. I used to have horrible nightmares where I would wake up crying, shaking, and sweating. But out of no where my dad said he found a huge amethyst stone around a lake with a bunch of other rocks and felt like he should give it to me. And after that, I would have nightmares every now and then but they stopped for the most part. I’m now very thankful I have that crystal from a few years ago.

Today I went to a crystal shop near me and to be honest I didn't know too much about crystals so I chose the crystals I was drawn to. I chose 3 crystals that were pretty different for me just to find out they were all sodalite crystals. I found it pretty interesting and I immediately thought that those crystals must be really important for my life. I look them up a little bit and God I really needed them. To be honest I've never been so happy to own something before and I am so thankful for them

My grandma took me to a metaphysical shop in my local town and I still go there, it’s so calming and I love it
I just want to say, since i was little and knew nothing about crystals i have always felt a connection with amethyst, and i felt more happy and self loving around amethyst, and i have always thought about properties of a crystal, and i never was interested in collecting them for healing, or protection but now I've thought and found more information, i want to start opening my spiritual thoughts, feelings and emotions more, and all this bc i found out how crystals help life and thats thanks to you
for some reason im really attracted to clear quartz and the mini yellow ones. along with the koi fish looking ones and rose. even thought what i need in the moment amethyst provides i dont feel as attached to it as those ones.
i believe the stone you referred to as tourmaline was actually obsidian! it has very similar properties, tourmaline is just a different structure where it has parallel, elongated lines typically & is in the silicate mineral group where obsidian is a volcanic glass! ! just thought i’d share my knowledge. lovin your videos!
I will hold my crystals or one I’m thinking of buying, and I ask it to show me their energy, my hand will get all tingly and numb and pulsate, that’s when I know it’s meant to come home with me, or is content where I keep it in my home… I take care of my crystal babies, I cleanse, and weather permitting I put them outside on a full moon..over my entry way doors I place on top of the doorway a small selenite, black tourmaline and obsidian
I keep a rose quartz where I put my make up on….

I’ve been doing work with crystals for about two years. My sisters have been getting crystals for *years* and they decided to take me to a metaphysical shop (plot twist bad idea I’m obsessed). The first crystals I got were Clear Quarts (She’s a twin!), Selenite, and a little Ruby. I got Ruby because it is my birthstone and it’s really pretty. My sisters have been very helpful in the process of getting crystals and such. I just watch these videos to get a better understanding of ways to do things! Even if you think you understand everything you can about crystals, there will most likely be more you can learn. I’m gonna go meditate to open my third eye chakra!
I’ve never known that much about crystals, however I’ve been collecting them for years. I’ve never specifically cleansed my crystals and rocks besides running a few under water now and then or just lighting incense sticks in my room. My favorite crystal ever that I was immediately drawn to has such a wonderful back story and always makes me happy. I have a huge desert rose that I’ve had since 2019 when I visited England. I brought her back with me all the way to America and she didn’t break a bit. I always have felt a connection with her. Some of my favorite crystals are those that have back stories that I’ll always remember.Two others are some old crystals my mom has had since she was fifteen and just recently passed them down to me. My mom was not spiritual about crystals at all, however they remind me of her.
I have gotten into spirituality recently and got myself a few stones . But didn't really know how to apply them to my needs. I ordered a few books but they haven't explained anything useful. the store i went was like 1 hour away but i really didnt care, they took amazing care for the crystals, rose quarts in the dark red jasper in the light it was amazing! i cleansed all my crystals and even the place i hold them, the stuff i use for them, and the spell ingrediants! im so happy i spent that 60 euros on my crystals
Oh, and my answer to your video: Labradorite. When I first entered the shop I was pulled to a pile of dark, muddly looking stones and when I picked one up, the light fell on it and I was in aaaawe. Couldnt part with it, its sitting next to my laptop right at the moment too.
Other stones I was pulled towards: citrin (both the heated Amethyst, both the original rare one. I managed to buy I little drop sized one from Kenya), other than that: aquamarine, celestite, morganite, and my two new darlings: Ametrine and Charoit.
Labradorite is my favorite!! I thought the same when I first saw them, dark colorless looking stones... until you move them in certain directions and see those beautiful flashes of color in the most beautiful designs! Ugh! They’re the best 😍😍

I first went to a metaphysical shop with an ex on holiday but I was so scared to touch anything because I didn’t know what each stone meant and what it could do. Since we broke up I’ve been working on being more aligned and being more mindful of my energy so I’ve just ordered a variety of crystals online. Wish me luck!

Last fall i got into a car accident and got hit on my left side while i was driving. The experience was terrifying but i couldn't remember what exactly had happened until weeks later when i was getting physical therapy and chiropractic adjustments. But the day of the accident i had gone to town for brunch with friends and got hit on the way home. I decided to wear a crystal necklace that i had recently found again after losing as a kid. It was pink quartz. The string It was hung on was tied in three knots so what happened once i got home from the accident was weird. Basically the string untied itself sometime after I got home and while i was talking to my Mom about what I remembered, it slipped off my neck and fell onto the kitchen floor.
I was told once that crystals can get "overwhelmed" by energy and need to recharge and will find ways of telling you this. I'm not sure if it's true or not but this video made me think about it when you were talking about setting intentions. If anyone has insight about rose quartz or what happened i would love to hear! Maybe the string was just old and untied itself because it hadn't been used since i was a kid, idk. Either way, i definitely needed protecting during the accident and I got it.

I've watched a few videos on crystals. Whenever a certain crystal is in the video i am so drawn to it. I didn't know the crystal but it turns out its the green fluorite. Every video where it randomly pops up (like with yours around 2:15) i can't take my eyes off from it. Had no clue what this crystal did so i looked it up and now it makes all sense why i am drawn to it. I guess i have to purchase one for myself then.
I've always been interested in crystal, i bought a amethist and clear crystal in switzerland when i was 12 years old, before i even knew what crystals were or that they served a purpose.

Hi Courtney, I'm 59 years old and have brought my 1st. Crystal stone, I got home and my wife loved the look and feel of it and something or someone said to give it to her, so I did and then found out later that it was her birth stone, so did I buy it for her???

I just got a black stone in the mail & I have no clue where it came from 🤷🏻♀️ But I have been looking into buying some. It’s black & pointy on both sides. Idk if it’s a tumbled stone or a real stone. Idk if it’s a black tourmaline or an obsidian. But it’s beautiful!!! Black is my happy color 🖤
