I like your videos and value your thoughts but--my God--there is a part of me that loses the will to live as if I sit mostly looking at a guy gesticulating and, especially, shaking one or two fragrance bottles around as if the viewer constantly needs reminding what the subject matter is. But mostly it is nice to see someone discuss this stuff without alpha-influencer posturing. Thanks.
I own both of them and I like them very much. I think L'Eau Boisee is a little better suited for spring and Homme EDP for summer, but both works well for those two seasons. Both are classy and refined scents.
Just bought the EDP and the opening was great. Heavy lime smell and very refreshing. On the dry down it's more of a subtle classy scent. A little woody smell with a hint of lime in the background. I can see it being a great office summer scent. Very classy and definitely not something a high school kid would wear.
Guerlain Homme is my most complimented fragrance in my collection - men, women and even kids commented on it. And, yes, I do own Aventus. At least 3 batches.
Wow!!! So glad you reviewed these. I was in Clermont-Ferrand about 6 or 7 years ago. I fell in love with Guerlain Homme L'Eau. I bought 3 bottles, then found out it was discontinued. I bought L'Eau boisee because it was similar. Love this scent!!!
Need to try the EDP apparently with the rum lime and mint combo; sounds Devine! Have L’eau Boisee and really enjoy it down in the Florida heat. Geurlain is the biggest steal in the fragrance world!
Great video, Sebastian. I own L’Eau Boiseé, and I really enjoy its dry, woodsy vetiver drydown. I originally found EDP a bit too floral and powdery in the heartnotes, but my tastes have changed since then, so I’d like to sample it again.
I haven't tried L'eau Boisee, but did own a bottle of the EDP. Vetiver really seems to overpower everything for me in anything it's in. I wanted less vetiver and more mint and lime. Oh well. Glad you emphasized the vetiver. All the reviews I watched before didn't say anything about it.
The homme l'eau boisee is a favourite of mine first got it in the original 80ml wooden cap, the whole line was launched in the 80ml square bottles, guerlain homme EDT was great, the EDP was great they also had a great flanker called Guerlain homme l'eau. All 4 were great and the prices are brilliant for the quality you get.
Exactly that’s what I keep saying. Even if it’s in new bottle style, the scent is not the same, only less great. Don’t know why brand keep doing this. I don’t even like the new conforming bottles. The original bottles looked more elegant, expensive and unique. I believe it’s changed the magic of the scent because the ingredients are not as much used or use alternatives
The edp wins my heart. The boise is more versatile, but for this kind of scent I want that deep green boozyness. For me the edp and Daniel josier kalidoscope make it so I dont need creed GIT. Great comparison
Sebastian, Guerlain Homme EDP and Guerlain Homme L'Eau Boisee both sound appealing to me. I haven't tried either one. I think I would enjoy Guerlain Homme EDP since we are heading into fall and for the boozy and more woody qualities. I think L'Eau Boisee would be a good green, lime, vetiver fragrance for the summer. Thank you for the review and comparison.
I have three fragrances from this line, Homme L'eau which i bought when it came out around 2010, Homme L'eau Boisee in the "new" bottle, and Homme intense in the old bottle which i bought recently on-line from Sobelia and haven't really worn yet. Out of the three Homme L'eau is my favourite.
I prefer L'Eau Boisee. I originally had Homme EDP, but found it a bit too fleeting and a bit too staid and conservative to me. I think L'Eau Boisee is a bit more fun and playful to me, and performs better on my skin. That said, both are very well composed fragrances.
I just blind bought the EDP a few days ago from Fragrancenet. Tracking says it should be here Thursday, really looking forward to getting my nose on it finally. I'm hoping it'll be a good office fragrance.
I have and really enjoy L’eau Boise and have been curious about the original EDP. I’m still not sold that I need the EDP. Maybe some day on a whim I’ll order one. Thanks for your take!
I had Guerlain homme 10yrs ago...old bottle with cheap plastic cap,but the scent was awsome.Lacking longevity...waiting to pick todays edp version, very excited to try it.
Hi Sebastian, the lime and vetiver combo sounds intriguing. I wanted to ask you given your collection how do you arrange your fragrances for wear? Do you get hooked on a particular fragrance for a while or do you rotate through many fragrances? How often through the day do you spray these? Thanks in advance
Timeline was Homme>L'Eau>Homme Intense>L'Eau Boisee>Homme reformulated, which is an edp equal to Homme Intense. L'Eau Boisee has a darkness to it, I like to wear it on wet days, year round.
Great video! Thank you. Honestly I’ve been a bit disappointed in the performance of the Boisee.. I barely get an hour of projection and not much longer on my skin. Maybe I get quick fatigue in my sense.. but it may be my worst-performing Guerlain out of my 4 (Vetiver edt, Heritage edp, Ideal Cologne, Homme Boisee).
Tough one to call. I think I'd just give it to Boisee, for the price that lime note is spectacular. There are much more expensive frags that do lime that wish they could smell that good and last that long. I could say similar perhaps for Homme though with mint :) but Boisee can be had for cheaper discounted.
Great comparison video. Thank you, Sebastian! I wonder what are the diferences between L'eau Boisee and Guerlain Vetiver. Maybe the latter is more earthy and grassy?
I am glad to see that Boisee is still in production. For some reason isn't available anymore un Argentina. We still find some bottles with the old packaging.
Why are some guerlain fragrances so affordable. Omg let me shut up. I don’t know about leau boisee but the EDP is a classy pleasant gentlemanly smelling gem. It’s definitely worth more than the discount price.
I own and enjoy the EDP, but I find that I don't really wear it; perhaps I will in the summer (winter here in NZ currently). I can't get enough of Habit Rouge and Heritage! Is there better value for money in terms of quality? VERY unlikely.
Guerlain Homme is the best ... i had l´eau boiseé but homme is much more wearable , not that sour .... pretty bad they discontinued probably the best smell from the whole line ....
I smelled Guerlain homme at saks, and it was a grayish color and smelt of almonds. Yours looks green and you say it smaller like mojito? Are there 2 versions. Now the one I smelt was in the newer square bottle
I hope you can also review the intense version....i own the black bottle(old bottle)...its a minty mojito heaven and best part is that it lasts on me for a full day at work...and i live in a tropical country.
Yes it is. They are similar but EDP is better. It's the same. Guerlain Homme EDP Parfum is same just re formulated and branding change. It's one of Guerlain best sellers. Guerlain Homme Intense was a big seller for Guerlain. I love both of them.
Ohh man after my own heart 🙏 I love this line all of them I cant pick one 🤔 I have them all in the old and new bottles 😏🤷♂️🤣 some dont like this line because its linear but I love it the edt is great also.
Thank dot for the comparison video Sebastian. It seems hard to believe that a fragrance can be very good yet affordable; so many today are very expensive. Both sound great and worth checking out. I also love the masculine nature of the fragrances.
it's not important! Just realize that all these designer fragz are going to have moderate performance and are never going to be beast mode. If the freaking fragrances are beast mode I will most certainly let youi know if not just just know they are moderate. Besides the fact that all fragrances perform differently on different freaking chemistry. Try it and test it yourself. Cause if I tell you one thing it's going to be different on you. :)
Smelling Great Fragrance Reviews sometimes designers perform better than niche,by the way i was asking about performance because i trust ur words but u right not everyone’s skin are the same Thank u for ur reply🌹

Great review(s)! Which should I blind buy....Guerlain Homme L’Eau-Boisee or Guerlain Vetiver? Help
Is there any similarities between Guerlain Homme and Roja Burlington 1819?
I swear to God I'd wear only Guerlain Fragrances for the rest of my life and be happy bruh. Honestly.
Guerlain proves to me that some niche fragrances are overpriced. Great quality great value.
I own both of them and I like them very much. I think L'Eau Boisee is a little better suited for spring and Homme EDP for summer, but both works well for those two seasons. Both are classy and refined scents.

ما هو العمر المناسب لهذا العطر؟؟
Guerlain Homme is my most complimented fragrance in my collection - men, women and even kids commented on it. And, yes, I do own Aventus. At least 3 batches.
Which Guerlain do you have? EDP or EDT?
How many sprays?
@@herbertmeireles1311 I was referring to the EDP.
I always get compliments when wearing Guerlain Homme. It smells amazing in the air!!!

Been wanting a reputed reviewer to do a comparison of these two fragrances for a long time so this video is much appreciated 🙏
Great video, Sebastian. I own L’Eau Boiseé, and I really enjoy its dry, woodsy vetiver drydown. I originally found EDP a bit too floral and powdery in the heartnotes, but my tastes have changed since then, so I’d like to sample it again.
I've always considered Homme to be a summer staple, while L'eau Boisee took spring and fall. At that price, it would be a shame not to own both.
Your are best reviewer. The best. Continue to do your best. Respect ✊
I haven't tried L'eau Boisee, but did own a bottle of the EDP. Vetiver really seems to overpower everything for me in anything it's in. I wanted less vetiver and more mint and lime. Oh well.

Lovely 😊 great review. Love this. Guerlain Homme and leau de' boisee two underrated fragrances.
I prefer the original discontinued Guerlain Homme, refreshing sweet lime and mint, not long lasting though.

What's the longevity?
@@thelasthokage4347 The vintage parfum gives me 7 to 9 hours. Kalidoscope is a 6 to 7 hours or so fragrance on me.

I think I would enjoy Guerlain Homme EDP since we are heading into fall and for the boozy and more woody qualities. I think L'Eau Boisee would be a good green, lime, vetiver fragrance for the summer. I Love them Both ☺☺☺The Edp is great for a summer night,L'Eau Boisee for the day :)

Have you smelled Guerlain Homme Intense, I wonder how close it is to the current EDP and if it’s worth of chasing it?
I don't think floral notes is generic to me. But I love the floral notes. Jasmine and rose is nice with pepper mint.
Timeline was Homme>L'Eau>Homme Intense>L'Eau Boisee>Homme reformulated, which is an edp equal to Homme Intense. L'Eau Boisee has a darkness to it, I like to wear it on wet days, year round.

You are correct. It has jasmine and rose 🌹 in it with floral notes along with carnation.
Great review. I have Guerlain Homme L'Eau Boisee. I like it a lot!
Tough one to call. I think I'd just give it to Boisee, for the price that lime note is spectacular. Makes total sense! :)
Thanks mr please help me Please, I could not find Guerlain eau boisé Can you recommend a similar perfume?
Great comparison video. Thank you, Sebastian! I wonder what are the diferences between L'eau Boisee and Guerlain Vetiver. Maybe the latter is more earthy and grassy?
Thank You for your kind and very useful comparison. I really appreciated it! 😊
I guess I really should try l'eau boisèe!
Nice review. Sure i have the other, homme L' Eau. Great fragrance.
I am glad to see that Boisee is still in production. For some reason isn't available anymore un Argentina. We still find some bottles with the old packaging.

LOL!. Overstock and they must sell. That's what I'm thinking! :)
question is, can you layer them..? I'm planning to wear them to my bestfriends wedding day. I already own the EDP but looking to buy the L'eau Boise.
what do you think about amouage epic man? overall do you like it? and as a oud fragrance is it good for that note? please and thanks. love your videos
I own and enjoy the EDP, but I find that I don't really wear it; perhaps I will in the summer (winter here in NZ currently).
I can't get enough of Habit Rouge and Heritage! Is there better value for money in terms of quality? VERY unlikely.
Yes!! The exact video I wanted to watch!
Great review and I enjoyed it and I'm going to try these fragrances and have a blessed night
Another underrated pick ... great house
Always love ur reviews. Please do a shopping guide style for perfume shopping in Paris or Europe in general.
I think you may have read my mind with this comparison!! Great review but please include guidance on performance and longevity.
Congratulations from São Paulo/Brasil. Guerlain Homme looks like a Mojito, delicious!! Eau de Rochas looks like a Caipirinha. Delicious too!
Have you smell the Guerlain Homme shampoo & body wash? is there any guerlain perfume that smell of guerlain homme body wash?
Now were talking!! Love this house! 😉
Hi great review as always! Does the Homme smell anything like the Ideal Cologne, that mojito note?
Guerlain Homme is the best ... i had l´eau boiseé but homme is much more wearable , not that sour .... pretty bad they discontinued probably the best smell from the whole line ....
I have both of them. L'boisee's performance better than edp. L'boisee a little bit spicy. I love them
Great line ...great fragrances...great review
i try it and... bammm!! smells greeeat!
Great review. It would be helpful if you actually said which one is which. :)
I own both. I like them but i find them underwhelming in terms of performance and projection.
I smelled Guerlain homme at saks, and it was a grayish color and smelt of almonds. Yours looks green and you say it smaller like mojito? Are there 2 versions. Now the one I smelt was in the newer square bottle
If you smelled Almonds then you smelled the L’Homme Ideal line. The Homme line and L’Homme Ideal line smell quite different. 😀

Thanks for the info
Appreciate the insight, I'm more familiar with guerlains exclusive line. So it's great to learn more 🙏
Robert Quinlan you are correct. They have a lot exclusive lines
Robert Quinlan which is your favorite line from Guerlain
I hope you can also review the intense version....i own the black bottle(old bottle)...its a minty mojito heaven and best part is that it lasts on me for a full day at work...and i live in a tropical country.
I'll see if I can find that one! :)
It's my favorite of the line. It's closer to the original, but with an amped up smokey vetiver. More of a night time scent. Great performance as well.
Hi Sebastian. Thank you for the reviews
Which perfume is for summer?
My favorite is Guerlain Homme EDP Parfum. But I still like leau di bosiee.
Please is the "EPD Parfum" similar to "Guerlain Homme Intense"?
Yes it is. They are similar but EDP is better. It's the same. Guerlain Homme EDP Parfum is same just re formulated and branding change. It's one of Guerlain best sellers. Guerlain Homme Intense was a big seller for Guerlain. I love both of them.
Love watching your reviews
L' eau was an instant like when tried.
Ohh man after my own heart 🙏 I love this line all of them I cant pick one 🤔 I have them all in the old and new bottles 😏🤷♂️🤣 some dont like this line because its linear but I love it the edt is great also.
Hi !I am able to get the old version of Homme EDP (Black bottle), do you recommend this over the new one from the video? Thank you!
Thank dot for the comparison video Sebastian. It seems hard to believe that a fragrance can be very good yet affordable; so many today are very expensive. Both sound great and worth checking out. I also love the masculine nature of the fragrances.
Good review 👌🏻
Great Video!
The bell is on, why haven't you notified me? :)
The vetiver is there as well... it's a partner in lime.
Next time Ashley's on you should have her rank her favorite Guerlains
I have a review coming up with her of a Guerlain fragrance soon. So stay tuned! :)
Sebastián! Enjoy your summer. 🍹
Another hidden gems 😍
It would be great to see you do a review on the amazing Derby .
I like mint but I like it to be as is in Mint (candy) and in here is herbal to my nose and I really don't like herbal vibe
Love both
Do a Filippo Sorcinelli Review!! From his UNUM collection! Veeeery interesting artisanal fragrances 😊😊
Maybe I will! You never know!! 😄
Can’t wait!! 🤩🤩
The edp is a masterpiece.
How do any of these compare to vintage Dolce & Gabbana pour homme?
No not at all! :)
If u own guerlain vetiver...is leau boisee a redundant purchase?
They are different enough I think to warrant a purchase of both! :)
Thanks. Always Appreciate and value ur opinion.
I hope it’s younger scent than vetiver. I couldn’t stand how old it was.
Love my homme edt, homme intense edp and homme L Boise.
Pls can you tell me where can i buy the EDP for $36.53 ?
The EDP reminds me a lot of Russian leather by Memo Paris.
I can find out all I want search on u Chanel about perfume. Master. Fan from China
You could remind the audience by mentioning names of fragrances once in a while, which is which. Nevertheless, great content as always!
Which one is more masculine?
The EDP.
Hows the projection on these?
Moderate!
L'eau Boisee sounds better to me.
is the notification button the bell?
Yep..
Please make a video in skinn by titan ( verge )
The oddest review I have ever watched lol. You kept correcting yourself and going back and forward with the fragrances 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Performance is trash on these
Anything smells like the boozy Guerlain Homme?
You are like a spaghetti course
Performance???? U always miss the most important side 🤔🤣
