Saw them many times along with White Tiger, Twisted, and all the other Jersey club bands Late 70's all through the 80's. Hole in the Wall, Soap Factory, Mothers. NJ had a great club scene.

Zebra split time between New York and their home of New Orleans in the late 70's/early 80's. Lillian Axe was a four piece that added keys/second guitar when they were signed in 87, they never spent a lot of time in the New York area.

He stopped the show and started insulting the audience for not appreciating his wanna-be rockstar goofyness, and they threw another round at him and it blew out the PA!! I don't know why many of these people just couldn't simply play and have fun but not too much and being over the top and to check their attitudes and egos at the door. Look folks , Mike tramp , and Vito Bratta had the writing and composing down to a science in White Lion from 1985 to 1991 . They wrote some original amazing stuff . They only really had one cover song (Radar Love) which is pretty unusual for an 80s Metal / Hard Rock band like that . Nobody had the scorching melodic riffs , solos , and Bluesy Metal / Hard Rock sound like White Lion had . They didn't need this Danger Danger 3rd guy Bassist to LA Glam White Lion up . Mike and Vito really wrote about interesting topics other than partying , and getting laid like the 80s Glam Bands were doing . They tackled brilliant subjects like Social Injustices , Politics , Child Abuse , Heartbreak , Love , Financial Crisis . Obviously Mike and Vito wanted their songs to not be dated , to mean something , be relevant , and transcendant over future decades . They succeeded pretty well at that . I guess James Lomenzo came in on Bass on the Pride Album . He is more of a team player , and not a music writer / composer at all . That's probably why Dave Mustaine picked him to be the Bassist in Megadeth recently .
